What a wonderful place to stay. All three cottages lovely and clean and well equipped. Very warm and comfy beds. Beautiful setting. The pool was amazing and the games room very handy. All needs were covered and nothing was too much trouble. Great place to get together as a whole family but still have your own space and privacy.
Excellent venue with great facilities. If you have a party big enough I would encourage booking the whole venue out which gives you the run of the pool and studio for gatherings Really people that run it and Rachel is on hand if you have any queries.
We have just come back from an amazing stay in Barn Owl View. Although the weather wasn't great, it really didn't matter as we were warm, comfortable and very relaxed. Two hours on our own each day in the wonderful clean swimming pool and Spa was perfect and very luxurious. We each enjoyed a massage by Wida too, she is incredible. My wife requires accessible features so we borrowed the shower commode chair, we found the bedroom and bathroom met our needs. We were a family of four staying at the Courtyard /Burlton Cottages. Rachel was incredibly friendly and the cottage was well equipped and clean. We used the large swimming pool every day and also the simple gym and the sauna and jacuzzi (there's also a steam room). The onsite facilities were really top notch and we were very comfortable. It was well located for us to explore Shropshire over the course of a week and it was only 15-20 minutes to Shrewsbury, 40 minutes to Ironbridge and there were a host of other great places to visit (RAF museum, Hawkstone follies etc). This was our 3rd stay at Burlton Cottages twice in The Granary and this time in The Stable, Rachel & Gerry have all you need for your self catering break in fab accommodation and with the Spa facility it’s Perfect. The booking on line to give you exclusive use of the Spa 2 hours a day is great and that could be an hour in the morning and an hour later in the day or 2 hours together works well. With the park and ride not that far away which is ideal for getting into Shrewsbury or just a short walk from Burlton Cottages you can jump on the local bus. We stayed at the Granary for 5 nights. The facility of using the gym,pool and spa exclusively to ourselves for 2 hours a day ,really appeals to us and we really enjoyed making use of these great facilities. Lovely cottages in a lovely area ,close to lots of great villages if you want to travel and see everything that Shropshire has to offer. Ironbridge and Much Wenlock were great places to visit. Lovely walks done daily and then relaxation in the spa. We really enjoyed it and will be back. Thanks, Ian and Anne.
