This was a stunning place to stay for our family wedding. We booked all the properties for this occasion. It gave us privacy and quiet and a chance to spend some quality time together, interjected by the wonderful wedding celebrations at the family farm in a neighbouring village! I highly recommend this beautiful place!
We were a group of 7 and a dog meeting up for a family reunion. This really is a quiet spot to relax in, and nothing was too much trouble for our hosts Rachel and Gerry. Within a couple of days we could be forgiven for thinking that we owned the place ! After a tiring week-end journey up from Bournemouth, my wife, son, dog and I were delighted to find that the local Burlton Inn was 3 minutes walk away and did an excellent Sunday lunch. This is our fourth visit to Burlton Cottages which speaks volumes. The cottage really is a home from home with the added benefits of the wonderful facilities on site. The hospitality of both Rachel and Gerry is outstanding - nothing is too much trouble - the perfect hosts. We are already looking forward to our fifth visit!
Travelled with my husband whose mobility is poor and three friends two of whom have had a stroke. This property was ideal for us. The property is very private and has a lovely view. I saw a hare a couple of mornings whilst having my early cup of tea. The property is well equipped and furnished to a high standard and everyone remarked how comfy the beds were. My husband was able to use the pool and jacuzzi and I made use of the steam room and sauna. The owners obviously take great pride in maintaining everything to a very high standard. Last minute trip. Booked for relaxation after just having a baby. Secure fencing so we could leave the doors open and not worry about our dog. Nice to be able to have use of the spa facilities to help unwind.
The cottage was spotless and the facilities unique. Sole use of the spa included in the stay. Well maintained grounds and areas to sit out and enjoy the peace. I’d definitely be back.
