Five properties set amongst 633 acres of farmland with stunning views to the Lammermuir Hills. Each property has its own outside hot tub, all have ensuite bathrooms.. The Lodge sleeps 2, The Ramsay sleeps 4, The Lamont and The Buchanan both sleep 6 and the Capercaillie sleeps 10. All properties are within walking distance of each other. Many couples enjoy plenty of space so there is a special price for just 2 people in the larger properties. There are lots of walks, treasure trail, puzzle trail, jogging route, woods to explore on the doorstep. The area is renowned for walking, cycling, golf, and fishing. Edinburgh is a half hour away as is the Coast. The Scottish Borders itself has a lot to offer the visitor as well.
Airhouses is the perfect place to unwind. It is one of Scotland's undiscovered gems with a quiet beauty which changes with the Seasons.
The pod is perfect for a couple (in our case, with a small dog, too) to explore the Borders. Barbecue, firepit, and they've upgraded the wifi since our last stay, so streaming the football on iPlayer on the smart TV in the pod was stutter free. The farm is great - despite being a fully fledged adult, my partner couldn't wait to break out the carrot batons for the goats, sheep, ponies, donkeys, and alpacas each morning. It'd be brilliant if you have kids!
Hot tubs at each pod and cabin are great - really well looked after.
And the folks onsite are really the best - couldn't do enough to m...more
We had a lovely time included 80, 8 and 11 year olds and everyone loved the place. Lodge is in perfect condition and I could sit in that hot tub with that view all day. The drive up which is long and through fields immediately relaxes you. We hope to be back.
We had a wonderful time at the Airhouse Rowan Pod! The pod itself was clean and tidy. The BBQ area was brilliant and easy to use and the hot tub was fab after a long days walking. On our trip we visited local surrounding castle and abbeys and even drove up to North Berwick for a day at the beach so the location was great if you have a car!
Everything about Airhouses is fantastic...the animals, the log cabin, the peace, the views, the welcome treats, the bed, the location. It's the first place in the UK I've stayed at where I've immediately booked to return again the following year.
The walks around the immaculate farm are fantastic. Loved being able to buy animal feed in the small shop and feeding the donkeys, pygmy goats, shetland ponies etc
