Five properties set amongst 633 acres of farmland with stunning views to the Lammermuir Hills. Each property has its own outside hot tub, all have ensuite bathrooms.. The Lodge sleeps 2, The Ramsay sleeps 4, The Lamont and The Buchanan both sleep 6 and the Capercaillie sleeps 10. All properties are within walking distance of each other. Many couples enjoy plenty of space so there is a special price for just 2 people in the larger properties. There are lots of walks, treasure trail, puzzle trail, jogging route, woods to explore on the doorstep. The area is renowned for walking, cycling, golf, and fishing. Edinburgh is a half hour away as is the Coast. The Scottish Borders itself has a lot to offer the visitor as well.
Airhouses is the perfect place to unwind. It is one of Scotland's undiscovered gems with a quiet beauty which changes with the Seasons.
Wonderful stay at the hawthorn pod in November. Can’t fault a thing, the pod & hot tub was extremely clean, it had everything we needed and more. The welcome bag was such a lovely touch, It was glamping on another level! The surrounding area is beautiful and views are breath taking not to mention all the friendly farm animals you can visit. Damian was very helpful and welcoming. Honestly can’t fault this amazing place we will definitely be back!
Coffee at the little pop up is also great!
Thank you again for such a wonderful stay xxx
For many years our family have been going on staycations and have stayed at various lodges but this one was the best one yet by a country mile.
Words can’t do it justice as you have to experience it yourself but everything was absolutely perfect; it was clean, staff/owners were great, farm animals were great entertainment for the kids (and adults!), everything you need is there and we all had a great time.
We made full use of the large hot tub and BBQ area and loved coming together to eat around the large wooden dining table.
The cottage was pure luxury from the beds and bedding to the...more
This was our 11th visit to Airhouses. The Lamont was perfect for us as one of the party was in a wheelchair. All on the level excellent facilities , especially the wet room. Really relaxing stay and the spotless hot tub was fabulous. The coffee shop was a nice touch with excellent hot chocolate. The wee shop and ability to top up the gin and wine stock are a great addition. Damien very friendly and most helpful. All in all a most excellent stay.
Had a lovely half term break staying in The Buchanan, everything in the lodge was spotless, extremely comfortable and the hot tub was a real treat, especially at night star gazing! The views from our lodge were stunning, we loved all the animals...especially the donkeys. We did a couple of great walks from the lodge and visited Edinburgh twice, using the Park and Ride from Newcraighall which made our journeys stress free. Enjoyed chatting with Damian - thanks to you and all the team for a really lovely stay.
We stayed at the Rowan Pod for 3 nights to celebrate my partner's 50th birthday. It was wonderful - time, space and peace to reconnect, relax and restore. Despite the weather being, well, Scotland in November, it was easy to navigate between hot tub/ pod/ BBQ hut, and we were blessed with a couple of clear nights. Watching shooting stars from the hot tub was heavenly, we'll definitely be back.
We love Airhouses & have spent many wonderful breaks there. The lodges are beautiful & very well equipped. The cleanliness stands out a mile. The views are amazing & can’t beat relaxing in the hot tub after a nice walk around the farm. We love feeding the animals. Enjoyed a nice hot chocolate from the new coffee shop. You can really see that the team are continually keeping the standards high & always looking at ways to improve.
