Five properties set amongst 633 acres of farmland with stunning views to the Lammermuir Hills. Each property has its own outside hot tub, all have ensuite bathrooms.. The Lodge sleeps 2, The Ramsay sleeps 4, The Lamont and The Buchanan both sleep 6 and the Capercaillie sleeps 10. All properties are within walking distance of each other. Many couples enjoy plenty of space so there is a special price for just 2 people in the larger properties. There are lots of walks, treasure trail, puzzle trail, jogging route, woods to explore on the doorstep. The area is renowned for walking, cycling, golf, and fishing. Edinburgh is a half hour away as is the Coast. The Scottish Borders itself has a lot to offer the visitor as well.
Airhouses is the perfect place to unwind. It is one of Scotland's undiscovered gems with a quiet beauty which changes with the Seasons.
Exceeded expectation, great location as a retreat but also only easy to use as a base when wanting to visit Edinburgh and other surrounding attractions. Beautiful farm.
We loved our time at the Lamont. It's a great size but still has a cosy feel. There was great communication with the owners throughout and everything was beautifully clean for our arrival. We loved feeding the animals and having a wander with a coffee from the cafe. The hot tub is fabulous and we all agreed its one of the biggest and well kept ones we have been in. It's my second time and I'll be back!
The property was spacious and comfortable with all the equipment necessary for any eventuality. The wooden floors were excellent for a dog friendly property as was the stair gate at the top. The location was exceptional and the amenities on the farm were great. We didn’t use the cafe but the shop and being able to feed the animals were an added bonus. The barbecue hut and hot tub were great fun. Friendly, helpful owners, great communication. Highly recommend.
Lost count of the number of times we’ve visited Airhouses. Every time it’s been excellent, peace and quiet, superb views, truly luxury lodges. The Ramsay being particularly suitable for those with limited mobility, level throughout and with that all important wet room. This time we were treated to glorious winter sunshine with one day set aside for a howling blizzard and 6 inches of snow, made the hot tub exciting, Can’t wait to return .
We stayed in The Buchanan last week. I had been looking for a last minute hot tub place and we stretched the budget to book the Buchanan.
I'm so glad we did.
It was fabulous. Huge fluffy towels, super comfy beds, loads of room, a wonderful welcome pack and a massive hot tub. All surrounded by the most gorgeous countryside and the cutest animals on the farm.
Everyone we spoke to was absolutely lovely and I honestly can't recommend enough.
The only downside is that it's quite far from shops/restaurants however for us that wasnt an issue and we definitely would like to return.

The lodge is in a beautiful location - the views are phenomenal & the animals truly make the whole experience. We were able to buy feed from the honesty shop & feed all of the friendly animals. The hot tub was immaculate and the cottage was so cosy. We thoroughly enjoyed ourselves and would love to come again!
Thank you for a lovely stay, and a special thank you to Damian for welcoming us :)
Such a wonderful holiday for my birthday. Everything about the Rowan Pod was incredible - the hot tub was such a treat and we spent evenings in the BBQ hut which was so cosy. The farm is beautiful and it was such a bonus that our little dog could come too - she had the time of her life. We will definitely be back.
