We have been staying here as a family every Christmas for the past 9 years and have always loved it. It always feels like we are coming home and would like to thank the hosts for wonderful, special memories.
Everyone absolutely loved staying in this cottage, you'd thought of everything to make our weekend so special. We all had such a fantastic weekend and can't thank you enough. The pool, games room and fishing lake were an added bonus.
We had this cottage and swallows cottage opened up into one large cottage for all the family to stay, it was absolutely perfect thank you.
I honestly can't praise Spixworth Cottages enough. From the kind and proactive people running it, to the beautiful and comfortable accommodation (we stayed in The Granary), to the eye-wateringly beautiful surroundings, our stay went above and beyond our expectations. Easy access to the city, and a lovely walk along a country track to the local pub. There was even a play area for our kids, and a barn with lots of things to ride on (the kids, that is). We booked last-minute for Christmas. It was cheaper than the available Airbnbs, and just on another level. We will be back as soon as we can!
