For a reunion of 14 friends and family Gaffers Cottage is ideal. The play barn is huge and in the grounds the play area, tennis court and walks through the snowdrops made it the perfect destination. It's close to Norwich Airport- we could see the aircraft coming and going on our walks around the estate which the kids loved-moreover we used the airport park and ride to get into Norwich itself. Gaffers comes with a piano, a modern well equipped kitchen, accessible downstairs bathroom and all the rooms in this rambling property were comfortable and spotless. Booked along with gaffers and Granary for family holiday enjoyed by all. Walks and playroom saved a lot of money by not having to arrange days out
We had this cottage and swallows cottage opened up into one large cottage for all the family to stay, it was absolutely perfect thank you.
I honestly can't praise Spixworth Cottages enough. From the kind and proactive people running it, to the beautiful and comfortable accommodation (we stayed in The Granary), to the eye-wateringly beautiful surroundings, our stay went above and beyond our expectations. Easy access to the city, and a lovely walk along a country track to the local pub. There was even a play area for our kids, and a barn with lots of things to ride on (the kids, that is). We booked last-minute for Christmas. It was cheaper than the available Airbnbs, and just on another level. We will be back as soon as we can!

Always great staying at the cottages very cosy very large double bed plenty of room for the six of us staying at Swallows
