We had a lovely break at Mazzard Farm. The Bramley cottage was ideal size and even though only one bedroom the z beds and room size was plenty big enough for us with a 13 and 11 yr old. Ruud and Jacqu's were very helpful. I would recommend it.
We stayed at pippin cottage over Halloween, The owners advised it would be big enough for our family of 5... 2 adults and 3 children however the kitchen and lounge were very small. Not enough chairs/sofa in the lounge for us all to sit on. The property would of been suitable for maybe 2 or 3. The sofas in the lounge were very uncomfortable and hard. The kitchen was very small we all couldn't fit in let alone sit round the table. We asked for a highchair so they took one of the kitchen chairs away and replaced it with a highchair which meant we all couldn't sit together as not enough room or ch...more
We had an amazing weeks holiday at Mazzard Farm. We loved the location, cottage and the facilities were perfect for a much needed break. We stayed in Medlar Cottage which was wonderful as the doors from downstairs go straight out into the courtyard- our son loved this as he could ride his scooter as we sat outside! The cottage felt very homely with great facilities. The location of farm is idilic, so peaceful - we enjoyed walks around the farm, the farms own apple orchard and the goats! Credit to the owners - Mazzard Farm reflects the owners kindness and warmth. We will stay again.
We stayed at Mazzard Farm for four nights over Christmas. The cottages were clean, warm and comfortable and we had plenty of space for the ten of us with the interconnected downstairs. The courtyard and garden were great for the children and they loved the barn full of toys. The owners were very helpful and welcoming. The location is rural and very peaceful, but close to Ottery st Mary and Sidmouth for days out and shops. Overall, great accommodation for a relaxing Christmas break.
We had a lovely family holiday at Mazzard Farm just after the Covid re-opening. The setting is lovely and our girls (age 3 and 5) loved the ride on toys, trampoline and play areas. The bedrooms are comfortable if a little small and the living area was a great place to relax and enjoy eating all the great local produce. Having access to croissants and baguettes etc during your stay and the fantastic breakfast hamper are really helpful. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful with local recommendations and very quickly sent on a loved toy which we managed to leave behind. The area has lots to ...more
Myself, my husband and 2 year old daughter travelled to Mazzard Farm for a 3 night break in October. It’s in a lovely rural setting, very quiet, but still easy to find and not far from local shops etc. The cottages are set on really nice grounds. My daughter loved all the children’s play equipment and the swings. The owners are very friendly and accommodating and they provide lots of children’s items if needed (toys, bed rail, monitor etc).
We booked two cottages (Damson and Pippin) at Mazzard Farm for ourselves, daughter, son-in-law and grandson. Having been shielding for six months it was a real pleasure to see them, to visit such a lovely area and to be looked after so well. In particular the cleanliness of the cottages and the care taken by the owners to meet the Covid restrictions impressed us greatly. We also appreciated the thoughtful little actions the owners took unprompted to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. Our grandson was able to have free run of the grounds, including the chidren's play area which he loved...more
