We stayed in Bramley Cottage at Mazzard Farm with our two year old son and we loved every minute of it! The cottage was comfortable and well-equipped. We particularly liked the fact that any baby/toddler equipment we required was also provided. The cottage grounds are lovely and peaceful, surrounded by countryside. Our son really enjoyed the play equipment on site such as a the trampoline, scooters and the football net, and it was nice for him to see the goats and chickens too. Tue courtyard is very cosy just like the orchard. It doensn’t matter where you stay at Mazzardfarm. It is a Paradise for children and adults. So quit, so peaceful, so relaxing. Not only Mazzard Farm was fantastic due to Jacqueline and Ruud and their kindness and good tips. The whole environment is a jewel. Go to the Jurrasic Coast, absolutely fabulous!! We wanted a quiet, country cottage/ barn in middle of nowhere and this was ideal. Play facilities with horses and animals for my daughter, beach and Exeter city a few minutes away. Very friendly hosts.Thank you.
We had a wonderful stay at Russet Cottage on Mazzard Farm. All of the cottages are beautifully and sensitively renovated and designed. We were in Ottery for the 5 November celebrations and Mazzard Farm is in the perfect spot for that. The owners are super helpful and welcoming and we enjoyed every moment in this idyllic part of Devon.
I stayed in Damson cottage with a friend for the week of the Sydenham Folk Festival. I have stayed at Mazzard Farm on many occasions over several years - sometimes staying with friends, sometimes with my grandchildren. As always, we loved the beautiful, peaceful location, the clean, high quality accommodation and the ever-friendly but never intrusive care of Jack and Ruud. The place seems to attract lovely, quiet families and the ambience always feels relaxed and healing. We love the environmentally aware ethos. I hope to return soon, It's become a home from home and a welcome refuge in a busy...more
