Another great stay at Pitt farm this time we were in the old cow stall . It's a lovely dog friendly place . You don't hear you're neighbour's unless dogs meet while being walked . There is a lovely pub just 5 minutes walk uphill but it's downhill on the way back the beer is good as is the food ( generous portions ) . Take a tourch after dark as there are no pavements or street lights . At busy times book a table if you want to eat as the Fountain is small . Thoroughly enjoyed our holiday here. Dog was spoilt with a blanket, bowls and even a ball to play with. Bed (ours!) very comfortable. Everywhere clean and everything we needed provided. Location very good for us as easy to reach other places. Walk down to village and then on to beach delightful, also easy to reach the SW coast path. Lanes narrow to negotiate but that's just Devon!
This is at least our third visit back to Bob’s Barn and we always know what we’re coming back to. We can always expect the same consistently, reliably high standard in every area and it’s now very much a home from home and we love coming back each time. The setting is beautiful, and the walk through the village to the beach is lovely but there are also lots of great areas close by as well.
We have been stopping in this cottage for the past four years, we love it. The cottage is comfortable and clean and the owners most welcoming.
