Excellent place , Hot tub is a lovely touch, Walking distance to town is only 10 minutes . Very clean and has everything you need. communication was fantastic and clear arrival information was very helpful.
This was such a perfect little place to stay. It was a nice walk into town but super close to my son who I came to visit. I loved everything about the listing- it was clean, had all the amenities I needed, adorably decorated, and everyone was very friendly. I have already recommended it to other families and will reserve it again when I come back!

We arrived at our destination very easily and were delighted with our holiday house. It was clean and perfect for our use. We are a family of two parents, two children and one grandmother so house layout was ideal. The location of the house was also good for us. Bus service into York City very navigable if you don’t want to take car into centre. We had a lovely stay. Thank you.

Great location, parking was a bit tight but plenty of spaces near by. House is just as it looks on line, very nice. Bella’s cafe and the deli at the pub were good.

This apartment was fantastic! Close to the city centre 2 bedrooms 2 bathrooms and the view from the living room was fantastic overlooking the bar walls. Really enjoyed our break and we will return to this property when we next visit York. Free parking was an added bonus

Very warm, modern, and comfortable little house. All the utensils and mod cons you’d expect. More than generous amount of bedding and towels available. Parking isn’t an issue; the city centre is a 15 min walk along a pleasant river. Would stay again

The York Boutique is a charming 2 floor house/apartment situated directly above a Salon situated minutes walk from the city centre and main tourist attractions in York including the Castle Museum, Jorvik viking centre and the Barbican theatre. The property is very well presented and has excellent facilities throughout including 2x showers, modern kitchen appliances, TVs in all the living spaces as well as a washing machine and dryer. I stayed for 8 dys in this appt . Everything is good about it .Just that they don’t provide enough of soap or dish washing liquid or sometimes the sponge is missing , I think these are necessities in apartment n they should be kept according to the number of days customer stays as we book atleast 15 dys before. Are we supposed to get these before arriving in apartment?

Really lovely stay here, exactly as described and within walking distance into the city centre of York. The addition of the parking permit made it super easy for us to just leave the car for the duration of our stay and walk into York. Would highly recommend.
The flat was in an excellent position for easy walking distance to many of York’s attractions. We didn’t use the car at all during our stay. It was clean and spacious with everything you would need for a city getaway. We would very much consider staying here again in the future. We would recommend getting a York Pass for anyone staying in the city wishing to visit multiple attractions.
A fantastic apartment in a brilliant location. I visit York three or four times a year to see my daughter and from now on I’ll be staying at Minsters Reach.
Had a great stay for a girls weekend. Actually better than the photos which isn’t usually the case! York Boutique were very responsive throughout. Great central location. Overall would highly recommend.
It was a lovely stay. We were celebrating a birthday here and the house accommodated for this occasion brilliantly. It was really spacious and there was enough room to do everything we wanted. The instructions were clear on how to locate the cottage which was helpful as well as where the key was. The games room was a great place to hang out and it was a nice way to include everyone. The bedrooms were spacious and the beds were comfy. Overall a really nice weekend was had, staying at this place
Nice place, good location with easy on street parking just over a mile from York centre which is accessible by bus. Good condition with only one or two places which would benefit from touchingnup

Myself and my boyfriend had a great 2 night stay here. The apartment is a really great size and very comfortable. Has everything you need and has been tastefully decorated. It is in a great location and you can walk to the minster in under 10 minutes and into the city through the museum gardens which is lovely. The on street parking permit was brilliant. Would highly recommend to anyone visitng.

Fantastic stay in a fantastic location! In the heart of the hustle and bustle of all the great eateries and bards near fossgate. Parking permit was a great bonus and all the beds were really comfortable. Highly recommend and would return for sure!

After being moved from our usual apartment minsters reach a couple days before booking we where not sure what we would be going to , We arrived and got parked up then went to the apartment both patio doors where open , we went in and no one there , the rooms where very cold even after having heating on at 20c it is a cold building , neither bedrooms had wardrobes only drawers , double bed was made of white cheap wood boards which you bang your legs on the corners , the window is ground floor and looks out onto the passageway and noisy at night , there was people outside the window near the g...more

Lovely cottage style studio flat, out of the city centre but theres a bus stop just outside on the main road that takes you straight into town, budget friendly too

Great location , just near Monkbar, easy to access all York has to offer. Heating worked well and beds were really comfy. Had all utensils we needed for a 3 night stay. Would highly recommend
We enjoyed a great family reunion here and the living space kitchen and dining area were ideal. Easy access to York city with efficient and frequent bus service from right outside the house. . Nice to have hot tub but limited use to flooded approach. I did manage one session! Hopefully some surface draining away from this area will improve. The office team were very attentive when needed and all really friendly.
Really central apartment in the heart of the city of York with the added bonus of a gated parking space. The flat was very spacious and had everything we needed for a 4 night stay. We will return in the future for certain. Thankyou for a stress free relaxing stay

Gillygate boutique is a perfect apartment in the centre of York, suited for 2 people. Clean, very comfortable and very well equipped. Merely a 5 minute walk to the Minster and all that York city has to offer it is perfectly located. Highly recommend Osborne's @ 68 just along the road for food, and excellent service.
Lovely property right in the heart of York. Couldnt be in a better location. The house is great, well decorated and tidy. We had a problem with the boiler but the host was brilliant and put us in touch with a plumber immediately who was able to help us fix the issue ourselves. we'd absolutely stay here again next time we're in York.
Great wee flat not far from the center we booked for 24/12 till 28/12 so wated something with outside space and not in the center so this wee place was brilliant
great apartment and isone of 3 which is great for hen doos ect. We came as a hen doo. It is beautifully decorated and modern, the kitchen is fully equipt with everything we needed and more. The beds were very comfy and has spacious bedrooms and living area. The location is just outside of the city centre but its located on one of the most regular bus routes in york. This apartment has a great location which is in walkable distance of just about everything. We walked downtown daily. We saw York Minster abbey, the city walls, the train Museum (highly recommend!), and we walked to the local groceries. The kitchen was well equipped, truly we had everything we needed. We stayed mid September, and we’re expecting moderate to cool weather, but the first two days were hot. Accordingly, the apartment got hot as well. The booking process was simple, key pick up and access instructions were clear and concise. The apartment is very well appointed with everything you would expect for a pleasant stay. The apartment has 1 parking space only, Peel Street parking is close by and is very reasonably priced £13.25 a day. The location is fantastic with excellent restaurants, pubs, bars and the city centre very close also. I would highly recommend this location and apartment.

Minster’s Keep was the perfect location for our stay in York. Nestled in the heart of the old city walls on a charming side street, it was a perfect spot to enjoy all the history and sights of York. We loved the shops and restaurants on our street, just steps from the apartment. Encounter Coffee was our favorite place for coffee/tea and lovely sandwiches! Strolling the streets, visiting York Minster, walking the walls, shopping the Shambles, visiting St. Mary’s Gardens and eating delicious food at The Duke of York were right at our door step.

The flat is ideally located for a visit to York. We liked that it was the top floor so we had the window and doors. Can see out without feeling like people were looking in. The guests before us spotted silverfish so the office let us know and that it will be sorted but not enough time before our check in. We saw one or two in the bathroom but no big deal. The bathroom floor didn’t look to have been cleaned. Carpet wasn’t hoovered well. Anything we went to use in the kitchen appeared dirty so we washed everything before use. Overall a great stay. Outside the city in Acomb which has plenty of shops apartment was cozy and had great facilities for a good stay.Highly recommend
