What a beautiful peaceful place,was more then what was expected, bonus with a roofed hot tub. Lodge was tidy,clean,spacious,loved every minute
We stayed for 3 nights just after new year. The service was very prompt and clear . The apartment is very modern and in a perfect location within the walls and very close to the station. This is a great place to stay and very well managed.

I booked the lodge as a surprise for my partner before the Xmas rush and I must say it was perfect. The decor was stunning, best amenities we’ve ever had and a fantastic location to visit York. We frequently take luxury mini breaks in the UK and have stayed at some exceptional places but I can genuinely say this was by far the best. I’ve recommended it to all of my friends and family and we are already planning our return trip. Thank you to the entire team for the best break, the lodge far exceeded our expectations.
We had a great stay over New year at this property. It was tastefully decorated and had ample hot water and was very warm .Check in details were great and easy to understand and hosts communication was fantastic. Highly recommended
We stayed in blackthorn lodge for 3 nights to finish off our daughters 18th birthday celebrations. It was all we had hoped it to be, the outside space was amazing and the hot tub setting was perfect The little touches did not go unoticed either. Hosts replied to any queries really quickly and resolved any minor problems we may of had promptly We will definitely be back

absolutely excellent stay here. Great proximity to city centre but still quiet and private. The host is very responsive and the instructions to find/get in the apartment were clear and concise. Unfortunately the WiFi was down during our stay but the host made me aware of this beforehand and reimbursed me for the public paid WiFi instantly upon check out. overall a 5* star stay and I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for somewhere great to stay in york.
Another great stay at Bootham House, fantastic location for exploring York city centre, everything is within walking distance. The accomodation was clean, comfy and well appointed and comes highly recommended.
I go away with a small group of friends every year for New Years Eve and we always book an apartment or house as it is a lot more convenient than hotels and overall I probably stay in around 3 apartments/houses a year at least on my travels. This has to be one of the best I have ever rented. This property was a lot more spacious then we thought it would be. Very modern and very clean. Check in instructions sent were very detailed and the parking space was fantastic behind the property

Very good apartment, a short walk from the centre of York. Everything we needed for our stay, comfortable beds and a good shower with toiletries. The kitchen had a supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk in sachets which was very useful. Overall very pleased with the accommodation.
Modern and spacious apartment in a quiet area, with good access for buses to York! A nice lounge and kitchen including a dishwasher with all the amenities we needed.
Great location, very clean, very warm and were responsive whenever needed. Stairs may be a challenge for disabled visitors for anyone with access needs. Didn't affect our stay at all though.

We had a brilliant, relaxing and all round great and comfrtable stay here at Oakwood Lodge. The lodge is finished to a high standard, has beautiful views, lovely walks around the area and has absolutely everything and more that you could need. The hot tub was a real highlight to our stay. Thanks for such a brilliant time! We will be back.

We have just returned from our trip in York and we couldn't fault our stay. The property was decorated for Christmas so was very festive. The location was excellent close to bars, restaurants and cafes. The property was clean and had everything we needed for a great stay!

The apartment was spotless, stunningly decorated, and in a perfect location—just a short walk to the city centre. The host was very helpful and accommodating. This place exceeded all of our expectations in all honesty, it was beautiful inside and out. So well layed out and was perfect for me and my partner. Everything we needed was very friendly, the staff were so incredibly helpful which made the experience positive from the start. The lodge was immaculate. We really couldn't find a fault.

This is a gem of a place in central York. Lovely large living room with big sofas. Comfy beds. Very clean. Was the absolute perfect place to stay for a friends weekend away. Close to everything .. pubs, restaurants, Tesco metro. Would definitely stay again and will recommend to others

The booking was made in April so excitement was high when we finally arrived for our 3 night stay as a 50th birthday surprise for my partner. We had 4 adults, one 13 year old and a dog staying and the barn was a perfect size to accommodate us all. A main reason for booking the barn, apart from its location was the games room which proved a huge hit. I’m going to get the snags out of the way quick so as not to detract from what really is a great place to stay. Great apartment in the town centre, we loved staying here because we were clsoe to everything we could possibly need. Aaprmtnet was easy to find and instructions were clear! We settled in nicely and despite the openness of the apartment it felt very cosy. Great communication with office staff! Can't wait to come back <3
Lovely place to stay, great location, chose this place as we’ve stayed here before and couldn’t fault it. Is a great sized apartment, central to all things York. It was very close to the centre , warm and very clean. Parking was not included but next to Monkbar carpark
Great place to stay for a large group looking to spend time in beautiful York! Spacious and comfortable living room, kitchen and dining room area with cosy and comfortable bedrooms. The hot tub was great - and under cover, which was handy! The hosts were really helpful, quick to respond and friendly. Would love to come back.
We had a very nice stay in this apartment over the Christmas markets. The house had a real Christmas tree which was super. Property very clean and warm and had everything we needed . Walking distance to everything and 5 minutes to the Minster

Crompton Lodge is a first-floor holiday apartment. It is in Clifton, a pleasant suburb about a ten minute walk from the City centre. Unlike many holiday flats in York, it has a parking space, which is a real bonus. It is probably best to leave your car and walk into the City Centre, but the flat is also conveniently sited for trips out of York, to attractions such as Castle Howard and Helmsley Castle. Excellent accommodation. very close to everything. been to York many times and this wss the best location yet. Just a few mins walk from the minster and the shambles . tesco extra a couple doors away. loveky cake shop opposite "the York tea rooms" although a very busy area the apartment was very quiet. the rooms are spacious and the beds mega comfortable. apartment was very warm on arrival and cozy. even a little Xmas tree in the lounge. had a fab weekend for hubby's birthday and ideal for the xmas markets. Will defiantly book again

Great city centre location with parking. Property was as shown on pictures and had plenty of amenities although could of used a few more spare toilet rolls for our stay with 5 occupants. We requested an early check in the evening before as per instructions as dependent on the previous booking and were told we could check in from 12, no charge which was great. Clear instructions sent about how to find the property/parking and how to self check in/out. Overall great experience would stay here again.

Lovely room and beautifully decorated. We made full use of the roll top bath and it’s in a great location for getting into York - only 5 minute drive from Monks Cross park and ride.

he place was perfect. The layout of the cottage is really good & the big double doors that open the bedroom to the main area gives a great open feel. The electric fireplace was beautiful so this has all 3 things we wanted for our romantic getaway being a lovely big bath tub, an outdoor jacuzzi & a fireplace. The kitchen was beautiful & very well equipped. Just note that you need to bring ALL cooking items as there is no oil & only salt & pepper. Stayed for a week and loved it. Everything you want to work well - WiFi, heating, hot tub, TV, plumbing - did so. Well equipped. Good base for exploring York, Harrogate and surrounding villages ( pubs). Sometimes you can judge a place / company by how they react if something goes wrong. We had a problem when we first arrived and a guy was round within five minutes and fixed it. Will definitely return.
