Our whole family hired out all the cottage’s at Vale Farm for a week. We had the most wonderful week. The Farm House was absolutely beautiful following its renovation, it has everything you need and more. The hot tub is lovely and peaceful and the swimming pool so much fun! The cottages are clean and tidy with comfy beds & sofas. We were lucky to have beautiful weather and clear skies so we could star gaze at night. Danielle was friendly and helpful and came to unlock and lock pool daily and helped us on any information we needed. I can not recommend Vale Farm enough it truly is amaz...more
Beautiful place to stay. We were in this lovely little cottage,perfect for the two of us. Would highly recommend at stay at this glorious place.
We had booked out all the available accommodation apart from the farm house for a family gathering to celebrate my Mum's 80th birthday. We enjoyed the facilities including the pool, hot tubs, games and playpark - there was something for everyone. The views were amazing and the host welcoming. We couldn't have asked for a better place to stay for the celebration.
Absolutely gorgeous accommodation, everything you need. Danielle and Tom are wonderful hosts, nothing is too much trouble for them. Lovely setting on their farm with wonderful views, stunning sunsets/sunrises. Brecon isn’t that far away with a lovely walk along the canal. This was my second visit to Vale Farm Cottages. You won’t be disappointed.
We had all the cottages and found the fact that we could gather together in the courtyard, use the function room and enjoy the pool and jacuzzi made Vale Farm Cottages the perfect family venue. Our hosts were friendly and helpful. We loved the location and enjoyed a week of varied activities in a beautiful setting. I can’t recommend it highly enough. Lovely location with great views and very welcoming and helpful hosts. Many of the fittings and fixtures in Walnut cottage were rather worn, e.g. the main bed was very squeaky, the mattress is lumpy and uncomfortable, I had to repair the fridge shelf with duct tape, windows didn't open and there were a lot of tall weeds in the garden and planters which doesn't create a good impression. I think the owners plan to revamp the cottage soon. One of the other cottages, Wild Cherry, had a very loose balcony railing which wasn't secure.
We enjoyed our break at Wild Cherry cottage. Comfortable and clean. Daniellle was extremely helpful and went the extra mile to help with a large group.
