Great place to stay close to beach and local amenities. Very clean and comfortable with an exceptional attention to detail. Only downside is not being able to park close to property, though able to pull up to offload/load. Would highly recommend.
We stayed at Cabane Mont Forte over the May Bank Holiday as we were visiting friends in the area. The house is located on a quiet estate; we initially pulled up to the wrong house number quoted in the directions from the agent but soon found the right place. The house was very welcoming, spacious and comfortable. Super clean with everything we needed. We did not use the hob or oven due to eating out. The beds were great and we all had a good night's sleep. The shower in the ensuite was quite noisy but this didn't detract from our stay; feedback about the family bathroom shower from on...more
Very clean and tidy and fully equipped with everthing you need for a short stay. Janet was a very good host and even though she lives next door, she left us completely alone apart from answering the odd question. We were very happy with everything during the time we were there. In my opinion, this is excellent value for money and great if you're walking/cycling the South Downs Way. South Harting has a good pub and nearby Petersfield covers almost everything else. Highly recommended!
We absolutely love the White House at Borden. After staying last year, we had such an amazing time that everyone immediately wanted to plan the next stay. We loved the beautiful location, the pool table and the hot tub was well used! The contact and support from host was impeccable too.
We had a great four day stay, lovely accomodation, with everything we needed provided. Delighted with the property and location. We would love to return
We have been holidaying here for over 20 years and we are never disappointed. Great hosts, fantastic hospitality, beautiful accommodation, amazing location, everything you could possibly want from a holiday! We have no hesitation in recommending!
Rubens Barn is a little rural gem. All of the creature comforts, extremely generous food provisions and a wonderful owner who greeted us on arrival and departure. Accessible to Chichester, Midhurst and Petworth. Highly recommended.
The property is set in a quiet residential cul-de-sac in the attractive village of Bosham, which borders Chichester Harbour. The property has been recently renovated. There are 4 double bedrooms, with comfortable mattresses, and a spacious open plan kitchen/dining area, with large glass doors which open out on to a patio and a good-sized garden. There is a separate spacious sitting room, and a bathroom and a shower room. A good property for a relaxing family holiday, with a number of beaches within a 20/30 minute drive; the owners were very friendly and helpful.
Lovely house just a short walk from Emsworth. The accommodation was lovely for 5 of us celebrating my mums birthday. Highly recommend this house.
Elm lodge is the perfect destination if you are looking for a quiet relaxing break. A self catering lodge in a beautiful setting in West Sussex, it is perfectly placed as a base for exploring this lovely area on the south coast. We will visit again.
Hidden gem in charming town. Well equipped, clean and newly refurbished, with secure parking. There are stairs and some road noise at peak times but otherwise very comfortable. Shame about the reconstruction of the hotel across the road but can’t be helped and I’m sure it will change in coming months.
This is now our third stay here and it offers a peaceful break in a good location. There is all you need and it is very comfortable, will be back again next year.
Ages 5 months - 70's, 16 of us enjoyed a fabulous family weeks holiday at the Coach House. We enjoyed many watersports activities, carrying equipment to the beach by our very strong and capable children, wives and grandchildren. Space for chilling and enjoying table tennis and playing games in the house was in abundance. Bedrooms were beautifully decorated and comfortable and Lou was very accommodating with splitting beds into singles as we required. The only comment we did have was lack of a chest of drawers in most of the bedrooms, so majority of clothes stayed in suitcases. Equipment and t...more
The Annexe at Palm Tree Cottage offers a brilliant base for a holiday in the Chichester area. Hidden behind the owners' house it is fully protected from the slightly noisy A259, and contains everything one could wish for. The owners were very welcoming and the close proximity of the bus stop for the 700 service between Chichester and Portsmouth, which runs every 20 minutes on weekdays, means that you can leave the car parked up for most journeys. Both Fishbourne Roman Palace and Fishbourne Railway Station are also easy walks, as are two pubs, The Bull's Head and The Woolpack. We were unlucky w...more
Our colleague thoroughly enjoyed his stay in this beautiful converted building and looks forward to returning. The owners who live on site are super helpful snd welcoming. The management team are very efficient too and resolved a shower issue in super quick time - thank you.
Excellent accommodation on a quiet street but only a short walk from the sea. The owner was very friendly and on hand if needed. We had meals out in two local restaurants again within in walking distance. There is a lot to see and do and in the short time we were here we visited Chichester Cathedral, West Wittering beach and the Weald and Downland Living Museum. The weather could have been kinder but we enjoyed our stay and would thoroughly recommend Caedwalla House.
Broomy Cottage was spoken very highly of by my colleagues. 'Best house we've stayed in' The hosts were fantastic, they communicated well ad looked after my team. I didn't hear a single complaint from them, which is often rare as it's difficult to suit everyone's needs. The kitchen was well-equipped. It was very cosy, especially for colder months with the fire going, or in the garden with the fire pit. And the summer months would be lovely too, the garden was big and beautiful, with a barbecue for a nice summers dinner. If I am being nit picky, the location wasn't perfect, as travel time w...more
We enjoyed our stay very much. The house is very comfortable, tastefully decorated and well equipped. The garden is a peaceful oasis, so close to town. Belinda is a great host.
Great all round experience, lovely big house, all good sized bedrooms, nicely furnished throughout and loads of space for our 3 couples and an infant. Good location walkable to anything in town and attractions nearby.
We have just enjoyed a week at The Beach House, East Wittering, it was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a lovely relaxing holiday, the location is great with the beach and village just a short walk away. The owner was friendly and very helpful with any information we needed, we would love to stay there again in the future.
The house was clean and spacious, comfortable and quiet, and very well equipped, and our host Lorna was very kind and accommodating. Being quite central, we also found that the location was great for touring around West Sussex. A very lovely week has been spent there.
Good location, very helpful when internet connection went down in the evening, whichwas the fault of the service provider and effected the neighbourhood, but Henry Adams were concerned for me and kept me updated. I stayed at this location previous and there were no issues. The bungalow is comfy, clean and modern with a large garden. One suggestion add a television to the master bedroom.
Our third annual 2 week stay.fanstastic high standards in everyday.beautifully clean, equipped and ideal location. Pubs minuets away and superb indian(le spice) would recommend anytime. Regards to all adrian and Julie,Norfolk.
Second stay here, whilst visiting my parents, just as good as last time, excellent location. I’ll be back, I would stay here every visit, but unfortunately I normally have the dog with me.
This is a gem of a property, with delightful hosts. Very quiet and so clean and well equipped. Very comfortable furniture, bed and and a lovely shower. Very handy location to Chichester and surrounds. We would highly recommend to anyone looking and would stay again in a heartbeat.
The best place , It's delicious to have tea looking at the sea, it's perfect,❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️❤️
This is a beautiful and comfortable holiday flat in an amazing location..The balcony is a lovely place to sit and watch the world go by. An ever changing scene.. Everything is so fresh and new. Most definitely want to return for a longer stay.soon.
Very comfortable cottage with easy access to Chichester and Witterings. Great country side setting and lovely owners
This is the third year we have booked this accommodation. Our team enjoy staying at The Parlour Emsworth due to its cleanliness and self catering ability unlike staying at a Hotel. It is ideally placed for their local commute and we would happily recommend staying here.
Beautiful house, really made our weekend. Furnishings and kitchen well equipped. Loved our stay would love to go back.
We all enjoyed our time at the cottage which is so convenient for our three week training course. We look forward to returning.
We had a lovely family time in Sealview and would love to return again one day but unfortunately it is up for sale
My daughter and I stayed at 2 Vellum Ct for two weeks while visiting my mother in Havant. The apartment was clean and very comfortable. It is conveniently located within walking distance to shops, restaurants and pubs. Also a short 5 minute walk to the train station. My daughter and I felt very safe during our stay and we look forward to staying at Vellum Ct again in the near future.Thank you to our hosts for making our stay so enjoyable.
Beautiful location, well appointed, excellent shower, poor tv reception, Sam most helpful handling questions by 'phone..
A little gem in a lovely quiet area of Aldwick. We would should the need arise stay here again. Thank you to the owners.
A superb holiday home. Beautifully clean and stocked with replenishables. Airy, homely and comfortable for 2 adults. Great location for accessing the south coast beaches and harbours as well as Chichester and the South Downs. The owners have done themselves proud with how they furnish and present the property. Only minor downside is traffic noise as the property is right on the A259.
The location is fantastic as you can walk everywhere and leave your car on the drive. Considering it’s just off the main road through Midhurst it’s surprisingly very quiet. Couple of things went wrong while we were there but the team at Henry Adams were straight on it and everything was sorted very quickly.
Thank you for a lovely stay at The Dairy, clean comfortable and spacious. The welcome pack was amazing and included local cheese, butter and bread. Lots to do in the area and very close for Chichester. Some good farm shops nearby.
Lovely clean apartment . Not for people who struggle with stairs as no lift . No parking , but managed to park for free 2 streets away . Best views to look out at any time of the day . Beds were comfortable, and bedding nice . Would definitely return .
The company where good to deal with kept you up dated with information and helpful on phone. Great place to stay. It’s near to places visit for shopping and walks. Enough room to stay in and be cosy on a winters day. We found the kitchen a good hub of the cottage but found the lack of number/sets of glasses and crockery could be looked at as for a party of 6 where not accommodated for. The key box was also tricky to open, could do with a little maintenance.
Great location. Well maintained lodge. Beautiful setting so peaceful and tranquil. Ideal for many places of interest to visit with public transport at a stones throw. So convenient. Friendly and efficient staff at both Henry Adam’s and the Green Door Centre. Highly recommended and we will certainly be returning again. This was our second visit anyway.
We enjoyed staying at the Stable Cottage, it was well equiped and comfortable. A place to relax and enjoy.
Great location for visiting Arundel Gallery Trail. Could not get TVs in bedroom or kitchen to work A slight squeeze for 5 adults in kitchen diner area.
I am local and booked the house for friends who came for a.reunion weekend. Great house with really good facilities. Lovely big bedrooms and really great open plan kitchen, dining and sitting area. We loved it. My only suggestion would be a bigger dining table as the house is for 8 people and the table is a squeeze. Thank you.
5 of us stayed at Shoreline for our Portsmouth tour stop in Everybody’s Talking about Jamie at the Kings Theatre. As soon as we pulled up to the house we were amazed. Beautiful spacious rooms, high technology, beautiful kitchen with everything we needed. The garden was amazing and luckily we had good weather for the week and we sunbathed on the sun loungers that were also at the house. All facilities were perfect, hot showers, wash/dryer, it was very much the perfect stay so far and we don’t think we can beat it for the remainder of our tour. There was a lovely beach a 2 minute walk away, stat...more
We loved our stay in East Wittering. Initially we felt the bungalow lacked kerb appeal (garage door needs some TLC) and a few trees would brighten the driveway up but once inside we loved it! It was spacious, clean and had everything you needed for a fantastic break (except an iron lol) but I managed!!! The icing on the cake was the lovely beach and village - both a short walk away. Make sure you go to the beach at West Wittering too - it was beautiful!!!
We had a wonderful stay at Sea Esta, and wished we could have stayed longer. The house is compact with its upside down design, i.e. the bedroom downstairs and the kitchen upstairs. The place is spotless and very well-equipped with utensils, beautiful towels, and luxurious bed linen. A lovely surprise to receive wine plus a welcome pack. The view from the house is amazing. Everything is 100%, a special thanks to Marie.
Practical and pleasant cottage. We all enjoyed our stay. It was warm! Important for out of season stays. One snag was that we didn't find the heating instructions at first as in unusual position on wall behind kitchen door. Further from the beach than expected. It's actually 25mins of rather dull walk or you have to drive and pay £7. But there are pleasant short walks on footpaths very close and one of them does give access to the beach - slightly further than going down the road but a better bit of beach for swimming.
This is a lovely 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom property. The garden doors open all the way which is so nice on a warm day. Nice quite location with local shops nearby for all you need. The local butchers are great! Smart TV so you can login to all your own services. Cleaning products provided for included for washing machine and dishwasher. Even sun screen! Oven and microwave which are easy to use. I honestly feel that Henry Adams should be more descriptive with this property as it really is perfect. We were here for a week and wanted to extend further. Portsmouth and Chichester town centres ar...more
I couldn’t fault my stay. Debbie was very welcoming and helpful with anything I needed. The annexe was comfortable and spacious and just what I needed for a quiet week away. Wifi was superb and the kitchen was extremely well equipped ! It was especially nice that it was dog friendly, within a very short walk of the lovely beach. Shops within minutes if you need to stock up but at the same time down a quiet cul de sac . A little courtyard at the back with a table and chairs and parking to the front on the driveway .
Excellent location, clean well heated property; plenty of space. Most features were good, but needs a TV update for a modern age
Great location, very cozy place and it has everything you need. Definitely would recommend to anyone and the owners are so lovely and welcoming, really felt at home here.
A grea place to stay. The facilities are top notch and the location is lovely. Close enough to Chichester to get in easily but good for walks. The only improvement I can suggest is access to wifi as internet coverage was patchy.
we had a lovely stay at the little barn in Birdham. the host Stewart and his wife Sarah were very friendly, the barn is in a short distance to Goodwood. very good!
This is our third time here and it didn't disappoint. The only negative was the oven smoked very badly when used because of a dirty element and set the smoke alarm off but it did not spoil our stay. I would recommend an extractor fan.
Beautiful countryside with excellent opportunities for longer and shorter hikes. Not too far from the beach (40 km). Pub with good food within 10 min drive, shops further away. Car necessary.
Lovely comfortable cottage in a very quiet location. It suited us perfectly- you can walk straight out the door or get to the Downs and coast very easily. We thoroughly enjoyed our week here.
The Cloisters is an amazing cottage, a hidden gem. It is so close to all amenities, a short drive to see lots of stuff but you also don’t need to use your car as there is plenty to see and do. The courage is well equipped, very comfortable. We have been twice now, it is one of my very favourite places try stay and I love the fact that it’s within the cathedral grounds.
Location was excellent - rural but close to town. The cottage was comfortable, well equipped and perfectly cleaned. Plenty of hot water, heating was good ( once you got to grips with the controls ) and kitchen had all the essentials for cooking a decent meal. Our only problem was the main double bedroom - the large bed was a bit too long for the room, making moving around a bit tricky. As a couple, we ended up using the twin room which was more spacious. Beds were very comfortable and if you have a youngster in tow, the travel cot was roomy ( bring your own bedding) and there was a high chair ...more
A cosy but far from small cottage in a lovely village location. Great pubs and the food from the Indian was lovely. Great location the Witterings and Bosham on the door step and great walks into Emsworth to watch the boats go by, would highly recommend.
Our family have been visiting Selsey since long before I was born, I am now visiting with my children, in there 20's, so have stayed in many properties. This was definitely up there with the best, perfect for 3 adults ( or a small family), in a perfect spot, yards from the sea and lifeboat and 10 mins walk to the High Street. The cottage had most things we needed( a couple of things missings we advised owners of) but generally good facilities and equipment we needed. For those who don't know Selsey, lovely walks along the sea walls and days out in Chicester, Brighton, Portsmouth and Arundel ...more
BreweryCottage is very comfortable, quiet and well equipped. There is secure off street parking and it is a short walk 8n to Chichester. We’ve been several times and enjoy it every time! There’s always plenty to do and see.
Excellent location for a short active break using the cycle and walking paths. Lovely atmosphere with the marina and boats all round. House well set up for two couples for a short break. Helpful having parking at the door and the small secure patio garden at the rear.
A perfect place to stay for a week of rest & relaxation. A really comfortable home with everything you need. The welcome basket of wine and snacks was a lovely touch - thank you
Stayed here for a week of Christmas. The cottage was well equipped and extremely cosy. The owner was very welcoming and pointed out all the essentials upon our arrival. The log burner was a real treat and plenty of logs were provided. Great value for money and good location.
Wonderful peaceful location right in middle of Chichester right up the side of the cathedral. Parking provided in cathedral car park about 30m away so takes a little more effort unloading and loading the car but worth it
Second time staying here. Excellent location, great facilities, perfect for a family holiday. The dog loved it too!
Great location, can not fault anything will return. Only thing i would have liked was a later check out, but understand reason for vacating the premises at 10.00am.
Very comfortable accommodation, well appointed. In an excellent location, with lots to so within the local area. Jo and Al were very welcoming and hospitable owners. Thank you for an enjoyable stay.
Excellent holiday. We love the position within walking distance to beach shops and lovely walks. Very highly recommended.
A very comfortable flat with everything needed for a happy holiday in a great location with fabulous views of the sea
We were very impressed with this cottage. Meticulously clean, very well equipped with a homely and relaxing feel. Short walk to Chichester Marina, harbour and eateries. Short drive to Chichester and The Witterings.
Very well equipped cottage. Nice location. No dish washer tablets or spare bin bags. Good value for money
Another lovely stay, with a lovely down to earth couple who couldn't do enough for you. It is ideally placed for the Witterings, and Itchenor walks. Massive Orchard which our dog Faye, and the owner’s dog Becky, absolutely loved and became really good friends. We miss Becky coming up to see us , and Faye going around to see Becky’s owners . All in all a reasonably priced holiday in beautiful surroundings.
A very relaxing break in a very comfortable house with a great location. We would come back here again. Henry Adams agent were very helpful. The beach can be accessed through a few minute walk across from the house which was a highlight for us. House works well for a group of 8 people and a dog. Lovely tv area Very close to other areas for exploring such as Littlehampton Would have been good to have each bathroom with an accessible shower and would suggest as induction hob to take a non stick frying pan with you for ease Highly recommend Innisfree
We were very comfortable in Rainbow Villa and would definitely recommend. Beds comfy, spacious living spaces, lovely back garden, clean, thoughtfully decorated. Westbourne is a wonderful village with friendly locals and is within driving distance to many wonderful walks and beaches... Halnaker Windmill, Kingley Vale, West Wittering/East Head, etc... Only comments for improvement for self-catering are that the worktops space is very limited in the kitchen (was ok, as we used the large dining table as overflow). Our young son is an escapee so a childproof secure lock on the side gate leading to ...more
Great location within walking distance of City, Theatre, Roman Walls and parks. Spacious accommodation and well equipped.
Apart from some black mould in the bathroom and some stains on the carpets, both of which need professional treatment, the flat was clean and very well equipped. Perhaps the description of the position of the key box should be changed from 'on the door to the right' to 'behind the door to the right'. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay and will return.
Wisteria Way was a wonderful place to stay. The accommodation itself is perfect for a couple and was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, it had a lovely separate lounge/dining room, and a fully equipped kitchen as well that included a full sized fridge and washing machine/dryer. There was plenty of storage, and a nice outdoor seating area. It was in excellent condition and quite stylish. I stayed there for nearly 3 weeks and it always felt like a nice place to come back to. There is a lot to see locally, with a number of amazing attractions close by. I was also able to do a regular loc...more
Absolutely amazing! Spindrift is clean, comfortable and in the heart of Arundle with views overlooking the castle from main bedroom window and river views from second bedroom. Spindrift is just a 60-sec stroll to Arundle's historic shops and heritage buildings. The hosts were attentive and bent over backwards to ensure all our needs were met and our stay was comfortable. We cannot recommend Spindrift enough and will be endorsing it to all our friends and family as a place to stay when travelling to this part of the world. Thank you to Chris and Samantha for making our dream getaway a comf...more
Clean, comfortable cottage in an excellent location. We used the trains to go on many trips rather than move the car. The mill pond path was quite narrow in places but we managed to park quite close to the cottage. The kitchen was the best equipped in any we stayed (apart from a dishwasher) and the downstairs loo took some time to get used to. Overall the cottage was very warm and there was ample hot water - perfect for a winter break.
Booked week stay with the family. Cottage is very cosy and comfortable. The owners were really helpful and very welcoming hosts. The cottage has everything needed for a week's stay and was spotlessly clean and tidy. We had a great stay visiting the local area - there's lots to see. The cottage is on a farm and my son enjoyed watching the tractors moving about and visiting the calves.
You wake up to an amazing view of the sea and there is a great range of restaurants (from the basic to the classy) just round the corner. The apartment itself is in OK condition and fine for a long weekend. During our 8 day stay, the washing machine broke and could not be fixed before the end of our stay so the Letting Agents helpfully offered us the apartment upstairs (which was empty at that point). Which is bigger and better. So - a win!
A comfortable cottage perhaps not recommended to dog owners as lacking an enclosed garden area. Was surprised that some expected items were not supplied as would normally expect these. ie hairdryer, umbrella.
Stayed at Marie’s cottage whilst needing a ‘break from the madness & sadness’ in my life right now. Went with my faithful furry companion for a week. The weather was amazing for October & when we weren’t walking the beach, we sat in the lounge in the sun looking out at the sea The place is spacious, very clean & well equipped The only negative & therefore lower score is the main bed. It would benefit from changing or at least a mattress topper and most definitely a good quality bedding set. I appreciate the sheets etc get washed a lot but it’d be an expense that makes a lot of difference. ...more
Thank you for a lovely stay! The house was perfect for a special family celebration - spacious and a great location with sea views. We walked along the rope walk (along the sea front) towards Portsmouth old town one day and found some lovely pubs. Excellent communication with both the agency and the owner before stay and throughout. Would highly recommend.
This was our second stay at Lifeboat View with three generations of our family, ranging in age from 13-86 years. The house is in a great location with easy access to the town of Selsey, the beach, some local shops and a good pub. With the eldest of our group having reduced mobility the ground floor bedrooms and bathroom and stair lift to the middle floor was a great help. The house could benefit from a few upgrades/updates to make it first rate. These things have not been addressed in two years and were sadly an issue last time we stayed. Firstly, the internet constantly drops out, when...more
Convenient location. Place was clean, comfortable, and well equipped. Located on a quiet close. Nice spacious back yard.
We were very happy with our stay at Church Path! It was the perfect place to explore sites of interest in the county and beyond, well connected by road & train, but serving as a really lovely and chilled place to come back to for a good rest. Emsworth is a fairly easy going place, for what we experienced, but Church Path is conveniently tucked in by the church, making it a delightful corner. The back garden/courtyard is ideal for evening al fresco dinning, evening drinks by the summer fire and refreshing breakfasts. It is beautifully done and well kept. The house itself is ample, with plenty r...more
Because of our circumstances, our stay at Emsdale House was the perfect location. However, the kitchen lacked tongs and a coffee pod machine. The settee cushion had seen better days, the springs almost at the surface of the fabric, making it rather uncomfortable to sit on. The double bed mattress was very soft, and lacked spare linen. The apartment manual was very useful, allowing for accurate use of the washing machine, but could have included instructions on how to manage the heating system, which appeared to have a mind of its own. Overall, the apartment was quite nice, with a good outl...more
What a cute spot! The cottage was super clean when we arrived and had everything we needed. Very well decorated to feel homey and welcoming. The bed was comfortable and we slept very well (yes, there is a train nearby but you have to stop to listen for it so it never bothered us). The price was high because we were there for Goodwood Revival but in keeping with all other places for that time. My husband and I both said we would rebook if come back for Goodwood events.
This was our fourth stay at Still Waters - . The property is excellent, though the TV in the lounge is a bit tired, The location can't be beaten I have already booked our fifth stay for next year.
This is the first time we've stayed here and we were very impressed with the house, surroundings, etc. Very quiet area with a fantastic pub at the bottom of the hill.
Arriving at our chosen location in Selsey we were confronted with a traveller's encampment across the road to the property, on contacting Charlotte at Henry Adams Holidays on their emergency mobile number, she sprang into action to find us alternative accommodation, we selected Kalami at Bracklesham Bay, was a great choice - thanks Charlotte. As there were only two of us with our two dogs, we rattled around in there, the most comfortable double bed we have ever had on holiday, the property and its contents are good quality. Only two minutes' walk to the beach, which at low tide our dogs lov...more
I think it was a problem with the bathroom window, I think the rain was leaking in, it was water on the window bed after rain. When we arrived the toilet paper on the window bed was wet and the second day the window bed it was wet after rain again.
Birch End was perfect for my husband, pets and me for a six week stay while we waited for our house purchase to complete. The owner was very helpful and friendly as was the neighbour who keeps an eye on things for her. We already knew Midhurst well, it is a lovely town in the beautiful South Downs with lovely walks, pubs and restaurants. The property is on a very quiet estate within easy walking distance of town or there is a very regular bus service. The house is cosy and warm and very well equipped, the conservatory and enclosed garden were great for our dog. Thank you for your hospita...more
Lovely house, big living space, well equipped kitchen, although there is no microwave. Everything as described. Short walk to East Wittering shops. Short drive to West Wittering beach.
Hello My name is Paula ( Alan Perrys partner) What a fantastic stay we had ‘ weather was beautiful too! The walks were amazing! The view was amazing 100% better than I expected !!! Thank you for letting us stay in your amazing cosy lodge !! It was so perfect & I would love to come again
Very clean lines to this property but very sparse on furniture. Very hot inside when it's sunny due to windows in roof which I believe don't open?, and due to its location the property sits in sun most of day so the inside is only cool in morning and evening. The shower also is either hot or cold, and you can't seem to regulate the temperature as the water pressure then drops if you add too much hot or cold. The bed/sofa in the lounge area is also hard and uncomfortable, I spent most of my time sitting on the chairs on the balcony.
Was a great spot within easy distance of Midhurst. Only complaint is the difficulty in turning right on Petersfield Rd but turned left and went down June Lane. The cost of the place was high but the value was there.
Thank you Henry Adams for your personal touch and reassuring professionalism ... what a find 'Fisherman's Cottage' was. So spacious, airy, light, warm and strangely cosy for such a large space, not to mention stylish, yet understated! Six friends re-uniting ... we had a perfect stay in a wonderful location, excellent accommodation and facilities - we stepped from the back garden onto a little green and a few steps onto the shoreline promenade... the sea vista was ours! just grand!!
Well, first things first. Location. Amazing. You’d never get tired of the view, regardless of the weather. Opening the patio doors to the beach is just wonderful. Pagham itself is remarkable in that it has 3 of the best pubs ever, for beer and food. And the cafe for breakfast was lovely too. Accommodation is quirky. Clean but in need of some revamp of furniture and beds. Had a wonderful time. Good weather for November. Trips to Chichester and Arundel. And a walk to the RSPB sanctuary. Totally recommend!
Overall comfort and location was fine however beds were not comfortable and one had stains on sheet, there were 2 pots in the kitchen that were unusable due to having rust and mould and some cutlery were dirty meaning the whole lot had to be cleaned before use. Owner (next door) had dog which barked late at night and early (before 7.00am) morning, not ideal if on a resting relaxing break.
We had a wonderful weekend stay at the Blacksmiths Cottage. It was spotlessly clean and had very generous sized rooms - we never even used the second sitting room! The kitchen had everything we needed and was perfect for group suppers. And the comfy large couches and the fireplace in the sitting room made our evenings in perfect. The house is also an easy walk from the station and only a minute from the nearest pub. Would definitely stay again.
The apartment is in a great location and is only 2 mins from the High Street, with coffee houses, pubs and takeaways. The apartment itself is an adequate space wise but is a bit tried and is rather dark in the lounge. It wasn’t as clean as other places that I have stayed in before. I have stayed here in the past and it was good to see that the washing machine has been replaced thankfully. The parking can be a pain as well and this time of year it’s hard to find any spaces near the apartment. There is a free car park not far away which can be used but be careful not to leave it there for more t...more
We had a lovely 3 day break at Costal. The house and location is perfect for a family get together, house is child friendly with an enclosed sunny garden, and just a 2 minute walk to the beach. There’s games and toys for the children and even boogie boards to take to the beach. If you need any help they respond with quickly.
This is the second year running we have rented Blue Haze through Henry Adams. This is the perfect location as the beach is literally a minute walk away. You also have Chichester very near and lots of tourist attractions too nearby. Lots of lovely places to eat (The Lion is a must!) The house is plenty big enough with a nice garden at the back. The drive can easily fit 3 cars on. It does need a little updating but this didn’t put us off renting it again. Henry Adams have been so helpful throughout.
A warm, comfortable cottage with everything we needed. The owners, who live in the main part of the building were very welcoming and after ensuring we were settled in, were available if we had any questions, but ensured we had privacy otherwise. There is easy access to Chichester town and harbour and also the South Downs. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
Very quant little cottage ideally positioned for Chichester town centre Would highly recommend for a holiday stay
We stayed at Birch Tree to escape some major building work at our home nearby. We chose the area for it's peaceful and pleasant surroundings and the accommodation for the facilities on offer and the need to take our pets with us. The house was beautifully clean, extremely spacious, had a very homely feel and well-equipped with everything we needed to carry on going back and forth to work, keep up with the laundry and relax to watch TV. Highly recommend Birch Tree for a really comfortable family stay in a sociable layout with plenty of room and a cute little enclosed garden.
Been here 4 times twice this year my grandchildren love it right on the beach ⛱️ nice and peaceful area . Its outdated but very comfortable and chilling
Brook House in Emsworth - excellent. This property is very clean and modern, and definitely worth a visit
The Cottage was homely and comfortable within a reasonable walk into the center. Very close to a very busy road but not too annoying as we were out most days from mid morning until late evening. All mod-cons in kitchen. Only drawback was the shower over the bath and no non-slip mat.
Warm, very well equipped and spacious, Broyle House made an excellent base for exploring Chichester and the wider area. There was a lovely garden too though the path through the lawn was a little overgrown. We were glad to have a parking space and a map to start us off.
We’re a family of 4 and a dog, & we all had a great time. The house was clean, practical, & the open plan kitchen/family room was amazing. We all enjoyed the hot tub on a few occasions, & a great sized back garden that our dog loved. The house is a 15 minute walk to WW beach, the perfect location to explore the local area. We’ll definitely be back:-)
We travel from the US to visit family a few times a year, and are so happy there is finally a property in the village! The bedrooms and all linens were excellent, heating excellent, water pressure in the shower lovely. It was even decorated for Christmas. We didn't need the tiny kitchen except to enjoy the coffee and tea provided, thanks much. And we didn't use the patio mid-December, but it seemed quite nice! I'd recommend a thorough clean out of cupboards and drawers. What a lot of accumulated junk, and some dirt that should be done away with. A small but definite detraction. A c...more
Overall, happy with house and location. Plenty of space, daylight, views, well equipped. Minor negatives- bad smell on arrival, seems to come from bathroom with bath in it. Hard to get rid of it. 1/2 roll of toilet paper, no washing up liquid, 2 teabags ... a bit mean!! Should be easy to remedy these, so can recommend the property without reservation.
The space was clean enough, convenient and private. There was lots of space for our family of 5. Overall the property was good it just needs some tlc. The kitchen floor boards look like some water damage has occurred in the past, the toilet seat is cracked and taped back together. These things didn’t cause us issues, the unit just needs a bit of maintenance and a good deep clean. Access to the unit upon arrival was easy. Would definitely stay again if we went back.
Great little property in a nice location. Only issue is parking is a real problem in area and would not recommend bringing a car.
Our second visit to this property - excellent location just a short walk to an off lead dog exercising area, the fabulous beach and a stroll along the promenade to a good pub. We weren’t very lucky with the weather sadly but managed to explore the lovely quiet area in between showers and had bracing windy walks around Selsey Bill. Thanks for letting us stay.
Our stay was comfortable and the cottage was clean and conveniently located but sheets and towels needed to be changed once in a week for longer stays. Help with door lock was appreciated.
At Beacon Square we had a pleasant stay, with comfortable sofas and beds. Kitchen is well equipped, with washing machine and tumbler. Beds really comfay. Situated in a quiet area, but everything within short walking distance.
I love this cottage and you pay to stay in a beautiful old cosy cottage which is steeped in history. The garden is delightful and you are very close to Middleton -on- sea village, with two or three pubs within walking distance and the beach 10 min walk away. . It is not for everybody. I have stayed before so knew what to expect. The cottage is small inside but cool on hot summer days. Access would be difficult for anyone with mobility issues and there is no room to eat at table inside. However there is a picnic bench in the garden and another little table and chairs so you can eat outside whe...more
Lovely accommodation. Reasonably well equipped for a few days although no hairdryer. No microwave. Comfy beds. Lovely bathrooms. Good parking provision. Excellent location in the town.
Dolphin Cottage is in a very quiet and pretty lane, quite close to the beach, and some shops and pubs. The cottage is beautifully decorated, very clean, well equipped kitchen and the two wood burning stoves are lovely to have in the winter months. We brought our bikes and enjoyed cycling around the island. The nature reserves are particularly interesting and beautiful. When we arrived at Dolphin Cottage it was very cold. It would have been nice if the heating had been set to come on before we arrived. We turned up the thermostat, but the radiators only reached lukewarm. Eventually we ...more
Very pleasantly surprised when we arrived at this wonderful apartment right in the centre of this beautiful little market town. The property had more than enough room, was very clean and the facilities were excellent. Parking and access to the property was easy, although having to wait for the electronic gates to close before you can park in the allocated space is somewhat annoying as they take an age to close. Overall we loved this stylish, elegant apartment and we will definitely return, highly recommended.
A beautiful, very stylish property in a wonderful location if you're looking for an out-of-town break. Tastefully furnished and good av equipment. Lovely French doors but locked with no key. A little lacking in kitchen equipment and one of the bedrooms has inadequate curtains, unless you don't mind being woken up at dawn sunlight.
Pros: Beautiful gardens, nice outside furniture, useful if weather is good. Great parking area. Bedrooms modest size, but each has quirky individually furnished style with repurposed period furniture. Bedding used is quality 100% linen with comfortable pillows and matches decor. Scatter cushion overload though. 3 out of 4 beds comfortable, but seem smaller than traditional King size. Kitchen appliances spotlessly clean, as was whole rental. Bathrooms excellent with limitless hot water for filling very large baths. Unique property in unique location. Excellent for a couple of nights stay espec...more
Pros - great location, near pub and nice coffee shop. Short walk to beach. Cons - not very clean on arrival, mould problem in bathroom, strong damp smell throughout property. Had planned to cook but found mould growing on wooden spoons and cobwebs on the pans - so ate out instead! Having read through the comments in the visitor book we could see these issues had been raised several times, so it’s disappointing they haven’t been addressed. Would not stay again.
Candy Corner was a lovely place to stay, very quiet with lovely garden area. Kitchen well equiped and clear instructions for all aspects of stay.
Church Cottage is a comfortable mid terrace house. It was ideal for 3 adults and a small elderly dog. The patio garden is enclosed so secure for the dog and a suntrap later in the day. The house is tastefully furnished and quite spacious. Considering it is a self catering holiday let, the kitchen could be better equipped with some new baking trays and a saucepans with lids that match. The parking is difficult especially if you return later in the day or choose to go out in the evening. We had to park several streets away on 2 days we were there. Please could the map showing zone J parking b...more
Freezer still had frozen foods in Upstairs bathroom grout could do to be updated TV VERY complicated with no help from agent/son Couldn't find the dryer as stated in particulars Beds were comfy and linen n towels good. Would be helpful to state parking ONLY FOR ONE CAR.
We booked The Little House as a last minute break. The property is in a lovely location with a great outside pool, but the house itself would benefit from some TLC. There was no appliance or pool information readily available and some of the appliances were either damaged or not working fully. The cooker and BBQ had not been cleaned and the upstairs windows and glass kitchen roof were very dirty. For our first few days we had vintage and military aircraft flying over on a regular basis which was great to watch. Unfortunately our use of the garden was reduced for the last 3 days of our ...more
Excellent property for 2. Lovely location with its own garden & comfy outdoor furniture to use. The shed had virtually everything you could want, the kitchen in particular was fab. The lounge & kitchen were very warm with the sun streaming through the skylights, the bedroom & bathroom cooler. Great patio doors to open. 2 niggles, could do with a mirror in the bedroom & the outdoor bins were full. Great location for getting out & about to the West Sussex coast & surroundings. Good pub just a 5 min walk away and usual supermarkets within a 19 min drive. Loved our stay there.
Great location for our family of 11. Everyone enjoyed the space the house provided. The bedrooms with balconies were a special treat. Plenty of crockery, cutlery and cooking utensils. And a dining area which seated us all. The towels provided were lovely and soft and the showers always hot and powerful. There was plenty of parking for our 4 cars and room left for more. We all loved walks along the beach and some of us were brave enough to venture into the sea. There were several dead light bulbs which made some areas rather gloomy and we couldn’t find instructions on how to operate the fire o...more
I had to take the hosts to the small claims court to obtain compensation. Having to go to trial was a long and stressful process but I wanted to wait until I had received an authoritative court judgement before submitting a review. Following a hearing, the Judge ruled that “between 13 November and 4 December 2021 the Defendants carried out loud, intrusive and non-essential maintenance works, without reasonable notice to the Claimant, in breach of the Claimant’s right to quiet enjoyment.” The material I submitted to the Court set out how the hosts had spoiled and disturbed our stay by using lou...more
The building is new and the location was excellent for the town and our communication before we arrived was good. The decor was nice and cosy. However the cleanliness was very disappointing and dust was everywhere. Bedside tables were dirty, bathroom surfaces were heavily caked in dust, kitchen surfaces and the dining table were not cleaned - plates in the cupboard had to be re washed, as did cutlery. Finally we had to clean the shower head to get it to work efficiently. So for the price it was very disappointing and it appeared that the property had not been inspected or quality checked befor...more
