West End Farm was the venue for our annual October Half Term break. Described as luxury we were not disappointed. Other guests have described the property as wow, fabulous, breathtaking, immaculate, beautiful, stunning, gorgeous, superb, luxurious, spotless. I would not disagree. There was room for everyone to spread out and we certainly enjoyed the house and Lodge to the full. From movie afternoons in the lounge to quiz nights in the bar. We have had a beautiful weekend stay at West End Farm, and The Lodge. The properties are so much nicer in real life and totally exceeded our expectations, with stunning views and excellent location. West End Farm has everything you need, everything's been thought out properly, the property is stunning and the beds are extremely comfortable (not to mention huge). One of the nicest cottages we’ve ever stayed in! Beautifully designed, decorated and equipped with a huge and incredibly comfortable bed. Set in its own grounds alongside West End Farm (which we were lucky enough to get a look at and which I’m currently saving up for!) There were koi carp and sheep and a beautiful ex racehorse plus the dogs were delighted with the secure dog paddock. Highly recommend!

In September we booked the Cowslip retreat for a few nights to spend some quality time in the moors and Whitby. The location is brilliant - short drive into Whitby (where we managed to find free parking), as well as being on the doorstep of some lovely hikes. The apartment had everything we needed and more! At 8 months pregnant it was lovely to be able to relax of an evening in the living space, pop on netflix and then make our own breakfasts in the mornings. We would 100% recommend and plan to return at some point in the future. Hopefully next time we can rent the larger apartment ups...more
Fabulous dog friendly apartment Molly was there to greet us on arrival with freshly baked bread and a well stocked welcome hamper for both us and our dog which was a nice touch Beautifully decorated and comfortable with stunning views across the valley, steam trains and barn owls were our favourite along with a robin that called in for food You would never tire of the view The enclosed garden was also great for our dog who loved wandering about throughout our stay It is an excellent location for so many places from Whitby to Malton, which had a wonderful food festival we really enjoyed t...more
