We all had a wonderful time. Everyone from 4 generations enjoyed themselves. Pekes Major was perfect.
What can we say... We had the most amazing and magical stay at Pekes. One we'll never forget. It exceeded our expectations and was absolutely perfect for what we wanted. It was for a big celebration of life and love and we couldn't have asked for anything more. Pekes has it all, for everyone of all ages! 79 year old Grandpa was happy, as was our 1 year old son... And everyone in between. The thoughtful flowers in each house, the grounds and all they have to offer. We would really love to return in the future. Sixteen members of my extended family with ages ranging from 9 to 76 had a very enjoyable stay at this beautiful, grand, house, dating from the 15th century. Within minutes of our arrival the children and adults were playing in the warm pool. The sleeping arrangements were perfect and very comfortable. The grounds and the view from the house over the surrounding countryside were magnificent. Communication with the owner, Kildare Borrowes, was easy, prompt and effective. Everything about our stay was amazing. Cleanliness, facilities, the communication beforehand and after. Would recommend it for a party, family get together. Will definitely be returning.

Pekes is fantastic in every possible way. The Oast House is absolutely gorgeous and has everything you could possibly need. Kildare and Thea, the hosts/owners, are prepared to do absolutely anything they can to help, and they couldn't have been more responsive, flexible, and generous. The landscape is stunning, the house and gardens are like a fairytale, and there is loads to do in the surrounding area. The pool is fantastic, and warm even in October, when we stayed! We would love to return, and I couldn't recommend Pekes more. Thank you Kildare and Thea!
