Third time here. Had a lovely family weekend at Bailey Cottage. House met all our needs. All bedrooms have en-suites. Very spacious, modern, clean and comfy. Great hot tub with spectacular views. A few great pubs 20mins walk away in Ribchester. Also recommend Potters Barn Cafe near the Roman Baths.
From the moment we arrived it was pure relaxation. The cottage was bright, spotlessly clean and very welcoming. The kitchen and through lounge-diner were perfect for our group, and we were able to comfortably sit, eat and relax together as there was plenty of space for everyone. The kitchen was fabulous and had everything you could possibly need to cook. The only small thing we would have appreciated would have been larger plastic tumblers to use around the hot tub. Just had another wonderful stay at RVHH, this time at Whitewell cottage.We have stayed at various cottages on the site, in both small and large groups and have found them all to live up to expectation. We love the area and feel we can fully relax, especially with the lovely hot tubs. The staff are all welcoming and helpful and attend to any needs immediately. The only issue we had was controlling the temperature as some of the thermostats were difficult to control. We will certainly be returning.
This is the second time we've stayed in Sherburne due to work being done on our house. The cottage is in immaculate condition and has everything you need and more to feel comfortable away from home.
The holiday home was absolutely outstanding, with no compromises on any aspect whatsoever. Every detail was thoughtfully considered, from comfort and cleanliness to amenities and overall presentation. It exceeded expectations in every way and provided a truly exceptional stay. Highly recommended.
A lovely cottage with great facilities & views over the fields to Ribchester. Loved relaxing in the hot tub & watching the sunrise after the Christmas rush. The only thing that would improve the stay would be ziplock twins as single twins were a bit small for us being used to super king beds. Booked to return next year.

We chose to stay at Ribble Valley Holiday Homes as we were running The Winter Tolkien Trail Race. The lodge was absolutely perfect - comfortable, warm and cosy. The little christmas tree was a lovely extra touch. It was so relaxing just to sit and watch the wildlife from the lodge window - we saw lots of busy squirrels and a deer passing by every morning. The spa made our stay even more special and was perfect for after our trail race. We will definitely be back in the future!
Charged incorrectly for over 20 broken glasses when we left. Emailed/called office to say we had broken 1 glass, 1 mug. Obviously a counting/stock issue with cleaners. Still charged! Well stocked for cooking etc, but needs basic equipment replacing, and a deep clean of ovens, as all seems tired and little grubby.
Excellent property, we had 17 people all different ages and with children and it was perfect having the Hot tub,cinema room,snooker,table tennis and tennis court is perfect for the kids and adults. Very warm and cosy home Definitely recommend to anyone looking for a all round great home.
