A fantastic couple of days exploring with our children. The apartment had everything we needed and was cosy and warm and staff were great. Would definitely return! Thanks everyone
Had a fantastic stay at the Cider Barn apartment. Cosy retreat, clean and nicely furnished! The staff of the Hamptonne Countryside Museum was also very kind and helpful!
We didn’t have the best weather during our stay but this did not take away from a wonderful experience at Archirondel Tower. The interior surpassed our expectations, it was clean, comfortable, warm and surrounded by sea!! We will definitely book again and we’re very happy to be Jersey Heritage members. Thank you for a great adventure.
Everything was perfect except for the very strong smell which was in the upper room. It was so strong and sickening that we slept with the door open at all times. Would suggest you investigate , could this be a waste pipe problem.
What a unique location. Lovely to spend time there with friends to catch up and enjoy an amazing building. Very well done. Thank you for this opportunity!
A remarkable place to stay, almost an isolated, cliff-top cottage, but central to the main urban centre of Jersey and the nerve centre of its network of busses. The cottage was comfortable and we appreciated the basic provisions waiting for us on arrival. We were also lucky enough to have three warm, sunny mornings to enjoy breakfast sitting in the garden gazing at the sea view. Just two small reservations about the cottage. We would have preferred the bedside tables to be larger than they are. And, we found the tin opener quite inadequate for the purpose. Preferring not to mimic JK Jerome's...more
This is a gorgeous location, at the end of a narrow track. No problem getting our car to it, but glad we didn't meet oncoming vehicles! Comfortable bed, well equipped kitchen, good sitting areas - 2 indoor and at least 2 outdoors! Given the type of property (an historic fort), this was very well converted and had nice touches such nice paintings and photos on eth walls of local area. Staff were very helpful. Lovely walking along coastal path, including nearby hamlet and port with beach cafe that serves food all day and every evening! Definitely recommended - and also, suggest you join as m...more
We couldn't have asked for a better staycation. The apparent was so welcoming - very clean, neat and warm. It had all we needed from games DVDs, books to outdoor entertainment for kids. We particularly enjoyed feeding and learning about the animals and our night walks with a torch. It is the simple things that bring you together as a family and Stable Apartment offered just that for us so thank you very much to all the staff involved in making our stay so enjoyable.
We had 3 wonderful nights at this unique building in a fabulous location. We arrived on Friday night when a storm hit. We enjoyed watching the waves rolling into St Ouen Bay and crashing into the lighthouse. There are a LOT of steps and the spiral staircase to the top/lounge/viewing area are not for the faint hearted. The steps are worth it for the breathtaking views. The kitchen has everything in it that you would need for a long weekend or week's stay. The rooms are really clean and well thought out. Showers and toilets outside each room are ideal given the different levels...more
Another great stay at La Rocco tower. We were lucky with the weather. Sunset views from the top of the tower were stunning and clear skies for start gazing in the evening. Seeing quite a few shooting stars. Kayaking there and back was kept interesting with a little swell and a few waves on the beach. A top mini adventure.
We had a lovely break at the Barge Aground. Spotlessly clean, well appointed and in a wonderful place. So good to go somewhere a bit different. I look forward to going again.
We were very fortunate to have blue skies for our one night stay to the tower. Our guide Peter was wonderful and very knowledgeable about the area. There is nothing to fault about a stay Seymour. Being in nature and enjoying great company.
Absolutely loved our stay at the Fort. Quiet and peaceful, off the beaten track but quick and easy to get to. There are 2 smaller rooms to sleep in. Loved the big dining hall with a large fire place.
Basic accommodation but good fun. Beautiful sunsets and lovely beaches around the Tower. Lovely walks. Enjoyed our stay.
