We were looking to get away from it all for a few days and the Treehouse at Barrow Bill Barns didn't disappoint. We were left alone completely but knew if we needed anything, it would be just a phone call away. There isn't anything they haven't thought of and it was luxury living, which was impressive as you're in the middle of nowhere! Lots of lovely countryside walks and fantastic pubs at the end of them..!! If there was one suggestion for a future visit, it would be to have some more outdoor seating on the decking area. Perfect for a few days, very comfee beds and plenty of hot water for the bath! We have a lovley 15km walk and the area is very quiet with some great little pubs. Rob was very accomodatiing with the later check-out which was perfect.
We loved this accommodation. It had everything you need for a comfortable stay with the bonus of lovely patio doors onto a patio with seating and wonderful views. The only downside was a smell which seemed to be coming from the boiler room. Hopefully that got sorted after we left. We would definitely stay here again!
Customer Service was dealt with by our daughter Nicola Spence who lives in East Meon and this enabled us to see them over the Christmas period. Our other daughter and her husband joined us for the last two nights. We felt that the dining table looked shabby and a table cover would make it look more attractive. We understand and accept that prices are high over the Christmas period
It was great each bedroom having an en suite bathroom. We did however miss a separate toilet that was not is a bedroom. Anything we asked for was not too much effort and we felt valued.
This is our 2nd time staying in Pump Meadow at Barrow Hill Barns. Great set up for three couples and lots of space for dogs to run around safely. Always good service. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely place to stay. The whole site had been very well thought out. The cottage we stayed in was very clean and comfortable with a well fence garden. Would stay again
We stayed at Farlass for a couple nights and thought the accommodation was excellent. Rob the owner was very easy to deal with and quick to attend to any issues.
Great location and wonderful views. Would recommend it for this alone. The place was immaculately presented and we felt comfortable right from the start.
We had a good time, and the cottage has everything you need and more. We highly recommend it for a good stay. plenty of easy parking and easy access to many things to do. But in our opinion, if you call it five-star luxury, it has to be perfect. That means cracks in the ceiling, and the freezer being defrosted. water temperature being hot enough for a hot shower, lounge seating not so you are sitting on the springs, (would be better to have firm seating as you are encouraging people who need support to stay there), weeds between the slabs on the front and patio, patio doors fixed as they are ...more
The hide is a beautiful lodge in the middle of the countryside with the only sound of birds singing. The highlight was the outdoor bath tub overlooking the countryside. We would 100% stay again. If you need a reset from life.. this is the place to go
