Booked the property to be close to the sea, and yep you cannot get closer! House worked really well for a multigenerational family weekend away, lift and comfy seat with prime viewing spot over the beach for mobility impaired mother and comfy rooms, sofas and large tables for gathering around, roof terrace offered superb views across the channel. It is within easy walk of the harbour and all the eateries / bars and creative quarter, perfect for a weekend nose around a place we have never visited, we will be back!
I stayed here for 2 nights for work. The holiday home is decorated beautifully, super comfy bed, lovely hot shower, and a well equipped kitchen. The place was absolutely immaculate and smelled like I was walking into a spa! I would highly recommend and will be back next year! I was given all the arrival information in advance and it was all easy to follow and led to a seamless check in/check out procedure - thankyou!

Perfect. This wonderful sea view property provided everything we needed and was an excellent location for our short stay to visit family. From the moment we walk into the property it provided a lovely ambience of comfort which was spotlessly clean. Bedroom bedding was first class and the bathrooms and towels were of an excellent standard. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wished it could have been longer! We hope to return.
We spent a week in Oct 2024 at the vine cottage un Patrixbourne. 1st we chose the location, close to visiting relatives. Also very convenient for the trips we made - Canterbury, Whitstable, Broadstairs, St. Margaret's. The Vine Cottage was well maintained and also very well equipped. It was very cosy and homely. Especially the beds are a dream. All was very clean and tidy in particular when considering that this is a dog-friendly stay. We did not see any traces inside or outside in the garden. I was working locally and was lucky enough to find the Wonky House for us to stay in with colleagues. It was beautiful presented, perfectly equipped and in a fabulous location. Vicky provided thoughtful touches to make our stay special. Fresh flowers and wine were very gratefully received! The house is stunning and surrounded by quirky shops and restaurants. I am really hoping to be able to come and stay again. Thank you for making our trip to Rochester so special.
The house was so light and airy, fabulous quirky décor, sociable open plan kitchen living area. Super views right across Margate sea pool, beach & harbour. Location excellent right on the Prom (direct access w gate key) only short walk to everything in Margate town centre. Being on private road it was very quiet, literally lie in bed & all you can hear are the waves. We were lucky with a very hot week, so glass doors at the back open all the time on to lovely patio garden with hot tub. Highly recommended.
We had a lovely stay at Bedgebury Oast, the house was wonderful and in a very secluded and pretty location. The house had everything you could need and we really appreciated the little basket of goodies left for our arrival. A wonderful well kept house that has been maintained exceptionally well. Wow, the Thatched Barn was beautiful and such a fanstastic restoration, everything you could wish for is provided and is of very high standard and quality. Quiet location for excellent relaxation but easy access to motorway if needed. Restaurant/pub recommendations for evening meals were excellent, but remember to book.
This was my second stay at East Cottage and the condition of the cottage was as good as it was three years ago. The little garden at the front is pretty with wildflowers and lovely for a morning coffee before going out to explore. A very cosy retreat.

We stayed at this property for a weekend as a part of our corporate retreat. Both the property and the location are absolutely stunning, and the photos do not do it justice. There are so many things and activities to do and so much space for large groups. We are planning to book the same property again for our next trip!

Our stay was just perfect in every way (yes!....lucky enough to have fabulous weather too!) Even more lovely than expected and so peaceful with stunning views from bedrooms and lounge/large lounge balcony. Beautifully designed with a fresh nautical theme but not over 'done'. The Oast and cottages were just lovely. Quant, cute and typical English feel to them. The communication from start to finish was amazing. The housekeeper, was particularly easy to communicate with and was very helpful and friendly. Would definitley recommend and will be looking to book another one of Blooms properties.
Lovely accommodation in a beautiful setting. Very convenient location but it is a shame that the village pub is no more.
Went for my daughters birthday, the weather wasn't great so we couldn't enjoy the grounds. We had to ask for tennis rackets and balls to play tennis, but they responded in a couple of hours. Overall the house was beautiful and clean and views of the surrounding land made it a very pleasant stay.
Just go you won’t be disappointed… hot tub great beer & the kind of food to have with a beer. The wife loved the hot tub I think it’s the bubbles a jets get her a bit excitable. Lucky for me Will definitely return soon.
What an amazing place to stay! The house is stunning and the views are incredible. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook up a large family meal. We loved the additional kitchenette on the first floor which meant we could make tea and warm baby bottles without needing to go downstairs. As you arrive down this hidden a way sandy track of a road, rolling along on sandy waves to the most perfect destination. This is the best bit of Camber if like us you want to avoid hilly climbs up sand dunes. It is a flat walk to the beach and takes but a minute. Lark Rise is a tardis of a building, you walk into a huge open plan kitchen, dining, living room. You feel as if you have been transported to Montauk. A beautiful place to stay. There was nothing we lacked for. A new outside seating bench or table is needed but we mentioned this direct to the owners. However this did not spoil our stay
Simply magnificent from start to finish. We spent 4 nights at the Coach House and it was everything we had hoped for. The house was immaculate, Brian and Sara were excellent hosts, we received a bottle of bubbly on arrival and they were on hand for any problems, not that there were any. Wow, what a stunning view! And the house was spotlessly clean and beautifully furnished. We hired for a 50th celebration and had a private chef to cook for us which was amazing. The English coast path is accessible from the house and you can walk straight into Folkestone. Communication with Bloom Stay was easy and they were always on hand to answer questions. Rented the Roost as we were going to a wedding at Goodnestone Park which is only 10minutes away by car so ideal if you are attending a function there. The Roost was really well equipped with a lovely welcoming host. Welcome provisions were provided which was a really nice touch. We were blessed with hot sunny weather so the lovely courtyard garden was put to good use. Would highly recommend this property
The hosts have created a charming little bolt hole at Pebbles. It was perfect for a romantic getaway, with plenty to do in both Sandgate and Folkestone. We loved it, and hope to be back one day!

We stayed at The Hayloft over a very sunny February weekend to celebrate our first wedding anniversary. The house is beautiful and well equipped with everything you need, warm and cosy even without the log burner. We enjoyed relaxing in the hot tub after some very long walks from the bottom of the garden. The countryside is lovely to explore and it means you can explore & leave the car in the drive, which is great. Had a truly incredible experience staying in the Romney Hut. Kristina was a wonderful host and we got so much time with the lambs. Everything I hoped for!
Two teachers enjoyed a night away during half term. Cannot fault the communication from the host. Clear instructions upon arrival. We loved the opportunity to feed the lambs. Breakfast items was waiting for us in the fridge already. We completed the jigsaw puzzle - a few pieces were missing. A knob came off the handle of the the cupboard with fridge and a slat on the put up table was broken. Everything else was faultless. We enjoyed our time and would return. A lovely pub just up the road served us dinner and drinks.
We loved our one-night stay in the Lookerer. It was everything I hoped it would be. Space is obviously at a premium and as an older couple (mid 70's) we don't travel lightly, but we managed to cope with a small but carefully though out space. The bed was particularly comfortable, and the shower room/toilet was a revelation (I never imagined you would get such a good shower in a Shepherd's hut). We have just returned from a fabulous weekend at Lower Standen Farm. Both the house and garden are beautiful, with stunning decor, fully equipped kitchen and very clean throughout. The pool was such a bonus with the glorious weather we had. This is our second visit here celebrating more big birthdays, we hope to come back again!
Excellent stay, our group spans 3 generations so the large lounge and seating areas were fabulous. John's handover was good with lots of information to assist us with our stay. We had a lovely weekend and would definitely recommend.
Modern, well appointed 5 bedroom place. However, our stay was badly marred by a cockerel calling at 4am each morning. Windows could not be closed to block this out as it was so warm in the house as there is no air conditioning and the cooling side to the heat pump didn’t work. Showers are slippery and unsafe for elderly relatives. Not enough crockery and serving bowls etc for 8-10 people. Cinema room too hot to be able to comfortably sit and watch - aircon needed. Upon opening the gates into the courtyard it has the wow factor. Four bedrooms, three with showers, fully modern kitchen, and large dinning table seating the eight of us. The hot tub was used every day by our two grand- daughters along with a separate games room with pool table, dart board and video machines. Every where we went was no more than 20/30 by car
The Barn is well appointed and very comfortable for a large group. The walks, tennis court and the hot tub were enjoyed by the whole family from grandparents to grandchildren. We had a great time. A note of caution for parents of young children, the barn has steep stone steps in the kitchen and dining area, and from from the TV room to the lower bedrooms.
great weekend, house & rooms were clean and stylish, beds were comfortable, views and scenery very pretty and tranquil. Hot tub fun allocation great as near to whitstable , just needs more parking space and maybe complementary shower products.
We loved this cottage and want to return at some stage. Very well located right next to bus routes and the station so you don't need a car to explore the local area. Little touches such as night lights give it that extra bits of thoughtfulness.
Southbeach is a lovely apartment in the perfect location in Hythe, close to the beach, park, town centre and military canal. Sal was a wonderful host and made sure everything was perfect. We were there a month but could have stayed a lot longer. Would highly recommend
The cottage has direct access to the sea wall and then the beach and a huge enclosed garden which was great for our 2 dogs
We had a lovely stay at the Little Beach house in Whitstable. Beautiful property with everything you could possibly need. Brilliant location and super straight forward booking and arrival / departure system. We will be back to stay again for sure.
The house has beautiful views of the beach, a great outdoor space overlooking the beach and it's a really great space. It has everything you could possibly need and more. The bedrooms are lovely, all with en suites, the ground floor offers an open plan kitchen, diner and living space plus a reception room. We didn't use the basement but that was also a great space if you needed it. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.

We all absolutely loved this barn - from start to finish the booking process, organising key collection and return was super easy and friendly. We had our ten year anniversary party here with friends and family, we loved the tennis and swimming and the hot tub being exclusive was an added bonus! There are so many utilities included we only needed to bring food and drink! The only other thing we needed to get way foil and kitchen roll but dishwasher tabs, tea and coffee all provided which we loved. We would come back in a heartbeat.
Ten of us stayed at Regency Beach house and all of us were blown away by how stunning the house is. It’s spacious, comfortable, full of interesting pictures, sculptures and bits and bobs, and has a lovely walled patio garden. The view from the grand lounge, with the French doors open is wonderful and relaxing. There’s a lovely dining room and a cool cinema room. (We had couples in double beds and one of them was smallish, but there were six useable bedrooms so we managed).
We loved our short stay at West Cottage. The location is absolutely brilliant, nestled under the old lighthouse. The cottage has been sympathetically restored and has a lovely interior. There were three of us and we did feel that the sette in the lounge was not very comfortable and no other normal height comfy chairs were available. I could see with 4 adults staying, having only one bathroom with one toilet might also be inconvenient. What a stunning place! We had a wonderful stay in this house, perfectly located just a 5-minute walk from Canterbury city centre, through the beautiful Westgate Gardens. Parking was very easy, and finding the keys on arrival was simple thanks to the small lockbox. The house was spotless and truly felt like a peaceful haven. Not the normal detached, remote rural property I usually opt for, but I'm glad that I chose this one. The booking process was easy, however on the final confirmation It would be good to have the key box code so you only have to find the last Bloom email. Upon arrival we were pleasantly surprised, the cottage was really lovely, plenty of comfort, excellent kitchen equipment and really, really comfy beds. Nice house. Good location for walking. The turn for Lleden Lane from the A2 is a surprise for the Dutch. You have to reduce speed in a very short time. Also to get on the A2. We are not used to that, so it was a challenge;)
Beadles is a beautiful property in Sandwich Bay, located at a nice quiet road, easy walking distance from the beach. The house feels historic with interesting elements to it. It felt spacious, accommodated comfortably 12 of us. The children loved the property, the garden, the playroom. It was a perfect house to host our extended family, get away together quality time.
Celebrating an early Thanksgiving, we wanted a house where our friends could come together, hang out, eat well and make the best of the Kent countryside. At Lower Standen Farmhouse we were all to do and enjoy all of these things. The house has been beautifully restored with the prize going to the wonderful kitchen/dining room. Surrounded by glass overlooking the lush garden, the views and colours are an ever-changing joy with the underfloor heating meaning that we spent most of our time here. I hired The Oast for my 60th birthday celebrations. The venue is fantastic for hosting a party. I managed to hire a jacuzzi, which made the week even more special. Alan the owner is a very good host and will do what he can to make your stay a enjoyable as possible.
The accommodation is spacious and very comfortable. Discretely decorated throughout in a seascape theme. Complimentary Prosecco, chocolates and biscuits very much appreciated.
Amazing views over the Dungeness beach. Quirky accommodation with sunken bath and sauna. Comfy bed and pillows, quiet location. Great shower. The controls for the lighting are odd , they work OK but I never did completely figure it out... Overall a good place to stay for an unusual break.
It is a lovely property, superbly located. A couple of issues We would not book in the summer because of the 8 O'clock curfew. BBQ too small for 17 guests and feels like you are stopping people having a BBQ. It's a pity because the garden is also very nice.
This is a fantastic property, beautifully designed and presented. Wonderful setting near the lighthouses on Dungeness. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Our only suggestions would be more information on using the appliances and would be really helpful to have a washing machine (recognising the challenge of incorporating it into the beautiful fittings!!)
We had a great time here for my boyfriends birthday. The hot tub is lovely and the surrounding area beautiful with lots of amenities. Feels very private even though you're next to 3 other huts. I'd really recommend it and will be coming back to stay
It was very nice and cosy. We spent wonderful days in Dungeness. The House offers a lot of Space and is well suited for 2 families.
Oast Barn Cottage was the perfect location to get away from it all. Small but perfectly formed, the cottage had everything we needed for a relaxing break and the owner even provided some essential to help us settle in right away. It was a perfect base to explore the surrounding area, or just sit and relax in the garden enjoying the birdsong!
Brilliant pool, whole family really loved it. Property functional, but very hot especially at night. Fans supplied, but not easiest to use. Cleanliness inside quite good, but outside balconies needed sweeping badly and clearly not done recently, which would have expected before our arrival.. No phone reception in Property but was aware of this before arrival, was great could use WhatsApp to contact bloom stays as we had issue with washing machine, and they dealt with it very quickly, great service, even though I am still awaiting my deposit refund. Our extended family of 12 (6 adults and 6 children) had a wonderful stay at the Canterbury Barn. The barn is beautifully decorated, with lots of space and stunning views of the Kent countryside. The children loved the hot tub and there was lots of room for them to play and run around. It was easy to get into Canterbury and the local areas. Thank you!
We had a lovely stay, it was great to have the brewery next door and have the lovely quiet views and the hot tub. Booking and check in was easy. El Ray is a very special place. If you're looking for a spot to really soak up the majesty and serenity of Dungeness, I highly recommend it. The design of the building means light pours into the space, and the owners have decorated it perfectly, balancing all the comforts and utilities you need, while letting the unique building and location shine.
Lovely to be able to come and stay at Figgy again. Just noticed a slight deterioration all looking like it needs a decoration A big Freshen up needed. !! Painting etc. all looking.a little bit dull & grubby ! not quite clean enough for me. Didn’t get that feeling of clean. But I brought my own cleaning bits any way Still didn’t spoil my time with you. But I would be hesitant to rebook until TLC improvements have been made.
We had an amazing stay at Sunray in Dungeness. The cottage was perfectly located right on the shingle beach, with beautiful views out to sea. It was a surprise weekend away for my husband’s birthday, shared with our family, and it couldn’t have been better. There was plenty of room for everyone, the beds were really comfortable, and everything we needed was provided. The outside space was lovely, and the pool table was a definite hit! We know Dungeness well, and were very happy with the location. Its a lovely, characterful cottage, as expected. Beds comfy. However there were a few things that really let it down. The owners hadn't turned on the heating prior to our arrival (they thought they had, but hadn't; we think they had done so remotely, but all the heaters were off manually at the wall?). It took best part of a day to heat up so was pretty chilly. (We only heat our own place to 17 degrees, so we don't expect loads of heat). We had a great time at this cottage, just what we wanted, a house in a very quite location but near the city of Canterbury with everything there, the house is very comfortable, loads of couches, a brand new kitchen, and the Hot tub was perfect we all set in in the morning and in the evening, we would love to come back soon.

We stayed for 2 nights in May. Loved the hot tub, nice views of the countryside. The bar and restaurant were convenient with a good choice of beers. The location was good, being walkable to Tenterden passing hops fields on the way but would recommend getting a taxi back in the evening.
We thoroughly enjoyed staying in this gorgeous property. We loved the design and the fact it was tucked back a little ways from the road. It was stylish, comfortable and atmospheric - the perfect getaway retreat. What we missed were the things we'd consider standard in this type of accommodation. There were three different coffee makers (nice!) but no coffee. There were only 7 Yorkshire teabags and 4 peppermint teas – barely enough hot drinks to scratch the surface for four adults on a two-night weekend stay. There was no shower gel, shampoo or lotions. Seagulls is a stunning property with amazing views out to sea. It has some fantastic features, such as the large bedrooms and the incredible views. But we also felt there were some areas to improve for a luxury property. Whilst we were aware that the property was not the whole building, we were not aware that the owner lived below. We were particularly surprised to realise that she controlled the property heating, which we had to request to be turned on, which felt strange. My stay at The Homestead was amazing. The house was bigger and brighter than expected - all guests that arrived said the pictures do not do it justice. The place was well-equipped and the beds were very surprisingly comfortable. The location was beautiful and in a scenic area. I enjoyed a few cups of tea in the morning sun and at night looking up at the many stars. With the lovely weather we felt like we were further away from our homes in London 1-2 hours away. We did, however, have a small problem with a nail sticking up on the wooden floor of the shower room and it was not easy to contact anyone about it (it was a Bank Holiday!). We couldn't locate any tools despite being told there was a hammer in a cupboard. In the end my son managed to bang it down using a stone. Otherwise everything worked well. We had our 25th wedding anniversary getaway at Little Sunray Dungeness. The property was really great just as quirky as the photos implied but comfy and practical at the same time. So many seating areas to really make use of all the views. Very well equipped for cooking, baking, playing board games or watching films. Though we did none of these because it was all about the location for us: open the back door to the sound and smell of the sea. Picturesque cottage in the heart of the Kent countryside. The cottage was ideally located and had everything we required providing a quiet and peaceful short break.
What a beautiful historic cottage - We stayed for seven nights and it was an amazing experience. The cottage is so quaint but has been renovated to include all the comforts you could required. All the furniture and bedding was of the highest standard with everything you could require. We will definitely be staying again - outstanding!
Great stay at the coast of Dungeness. We and our two Retriever dogs enjoyed our holiday at the coast of Dungeness. It is a beautiful house set in a outstanding position. Good to know that there are huge cabinets for your cloths and other belongings in the bathroom and that the fridge is really small what you can’t see on the photos. Around the bed area there is a curtain for your comfort. We had no problem with the 360 degree view and glass doors with no curtains (could be very hot in summer days because of no aircondition). Had a fabulous weekend, the house was clean, big grounds, comfortable layout of the house. Only few minor details - no amenities in showers and only one hairdryer for the whole house
Great location and well equipped, and great value for money, highly recommended only issue is on third floor with no lift, other than that perfect!
Absolutely brilliant place to stay. I was celebrating my 80th birthday with all my family - we were 12 altogether - and the house was absolutely ideal. The pool was the icing on the cake as my grandchildren's ages range from 9 up to 17 - perfect entertainment for everyone - adults included. Thank you.
We loved the apartment - it was warm and comfortable - especially the beds! We had all the equipment we needed for our stay - although we never found the TV Sky Entertainment Package? Wi-Fi worked well. It was well placed for walking into Canterbury centre and some local supermarkets - Sainsburys and Waitrose. Negative points were that on arrival it was dark and despite the directions, it was difficult to find the way in - not very well lit and lots of small steps to trip up! You either ’get’ Dungeness, or you don’t. Inexplicably some friends just can’t see the appeal. But having visited Dungeness regularly ever since I was a girl, and having introduced my husband and daughter to it, we ardently do ‘get’ it and love what the area has to offer. Having eyed up properties here on every visit, this was our first time actually staying on the shingle - a perfect 4-night stay for two in our 60s.
