The property and gardens are beautiful and from the moment we arrived, we started to relax. Thank you to the owner for being so helpful and we would definitely stay again! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Beautifully presented historic building, rural location, personal touches. Made me feel very special!
I was working locally and was lucky enough to find the Wonky House for us to stay in with colleagues. It was beautiful presented, perfectly equipped and in a fabulous location. Vicky provided thoughtful touches to make our stay special. Fresh flowers and wine were very gratefully received! The house is stunning and surrounded by quirky shops and restaurants. I am really hoping to be able to come and stay again. Thank you for making our trip to Rochester so special.
This is one of the best staycation homes we have ever stayed in. The attention to detail and small touches that the team added on our arrival were very thoughtful, and any issues were very quickly ironed out. Would definitely use this company again!
Can we stay one more day? That was what we were all saying the morning of our final day at Springhill. It was the most wonderful weekend, a gathering of my friends and family as a post-wedding 'hen-do' celebration. The house is so unique in the most beautiful setting, gorgeous views from every room. I remember sitting in the sauna watching a sheepdog round up the sheep through the window! Beautiful. It is the home of an interior designer and has a warm and inviting aura - much like the lovely home owner Danielle who gave us a tour when we arrived. It felt like a privilege to be trusted w...more
We had such a lovely time staying at Chequer. The location was perfect, and the house itself was beautiful, spacious, and so comfortable. Every detail felt thoughtfully considered, which made it a real home away from home. We’d be very happy to stay again and highly recommend it.
From the moment we arrived, everything about this luxury cottage exceeded our expectations. The attention to detail was impeccable – from the beautiful decor and high-end finishes to the thoughtful little touches that made us feel instantly at home. The cottage was spotless, incredibly comfortable, and the garden is beautiful! We’ve stayed in 100s of Airbnb’s over the years and not one has come close to the exceptional quality of Rose Lodge. The Customer service we received from Bloom Stays was flawless. The hosts were warm, welcoming, and went above and beyond to ensure our stay was pe...more
We had a lovely stay at Bedgebury Oast, the house was wonderful and in a very secluded and pretty location. The house had everything you could need and we really appreciated the little basket of goodies left for our arrival. A wonderful well kept house that has been maintained exceptionally well. Bloom Stays were excellent in making sure we were taken care of and accommodating our requests. Would not hesitate to book again
We had a very pleasant stay in the lovely renovated train carriage. The owners are very helpful and friendly and made us feel very welcome. The small garden is nice and quiet for a morning coffee or evening drink. The center of Canterbury is only a 20 min walk and is well worth a visit.
We loved our stay at the Thatched Barn. The barn was spacious, clean and comfortable. The outside space was private and well equipped. The owners were on hand to offer great advice on places to visit and eat at. We would love to return at some point in the future.
Our experience at East Cottage was faultless - a really stunning property, beautifully furnished and finished, full of all the things we needed for our stay. The careful thought that has gone into every room is evident - tasteful, high-quality fixtures and fittings throughout the cottage. And all the kitchen and dining equipment you could need for every eventuality. The location is perfect, with easy access to all that Dungeness has to offer, whilst also feeling secluded and calm. Thank you - we'll definitely be back soon!
Perfect accommodation for a quiet country getaway, with a very comfortable bed, excellent shower & generally very well equipped, clean & maintained to a high standard. We liked the pretty garden. Were slightly concerned on arrival that it appeared to be in the middle of nowhere but were impressed to discover the excellent Jempsons superstore nearby which has lots of local produce & everything you could possibly need. Also, lovely Rye with it's eateries & quirky shops. Will definitely consider a return visit, perhaps in the Spring so we can take full advantage of the outdoor area. Thank you ...more
We rented the complex for 29 family members to celebrate a birthday. Age ranges from & 8 months to 70 years. We had a fantastic time and the good weather allowed us to use every facility. We used outside catering, some recommended by Bloom Stays. The Barn is so well equipped and clean. The fridges could prob do with updating to include an ice and water facility. The cottages were great. The Oast house was very clean comfortable but probably in need of some updating. If the weather wasn’t great, the indoor space is really good in the Barn. A big comfortable snug area and lots of dining ...more
Great place to stay! Would definitely love to re visit in the summer. Mandy the housekeeper also great!
Our stay was just perfect in every way (yes!....lucky enough to have fabulous weather too!) Even more lovely than expected and so peaceful with stunning views from bedrooms and lounge/large lounge balcony. Beautifully designed with a fresh nautical theme but not over 'done'. Spacious, airy and beautifully positioned for Sandgate to Hythe one way and Folkestone the other
We just spent two weeks at the Motor House Loft whilst being on hand for our great grand son who just started primary school in the area. What a great find this place was, excellent accommodation, well priced, located in beautiful grounds with great walks and close to the bus stop if you don't have a car. The facilities such as the kitchen are good if you are planning on a long term stay and eating in a lot, great shower, lounge area and two good sized bed rooms. We also bumped into the owner a few times who was very friendly and helpful without being over intrusive. If you are thinking of sta...more
This was our third visit to Bushes Oast which speaks volumes. The property is spacious, well furnished and really comfortable. We do cook nearly all our meals in the kitchen which is really well equipped, so we did notice the scales had a low battery. Minor but inconvenient. Jan and her husband, however, appeared very quickly to sort them out. We return because their standards are so high and because of the utter peace and tranquillity of the location.
An excellent cottage which was very comfortable, spotlessly clean and well equipped. Well placed for all public transport to enable a lot of days of exploration in an area that was new to us.
Took the parents on a week away to the coast and found an absolute gem to stay in, the wave cottage. Right on the coast, clean, comfortable, cosy but also practical, functional and a great place to relax, unwind and also enjoy the beautiful coast of Sandgate. Sal was amazing, contacted us well in advance and was contactable throughout the stay and answered any queries I had before arriving. The cottage was brilliant and we loved it, thank you Sal and family, we hope to come visit again next year!
Beautiful house. The hosts had thought of everything- from the games in the garden too the picnic basket in the cupboard It was lovely to read the history of the property and the background of the hosts Thank you for sharing your lovely property
Our week 'living' in Dungeness was as close as you will ever get to an authentic experience. The panorama windows connected us to the surrounding (shingle beach and channel view on one side, the new light house on the other) in the closest possible way. The minimalist furnishings and decoration provided the perfect 'background'. All was comfortable, the kitchen as well equipped as you would expect for folks who like cooking meals. The unusual design (integrating an old railway carriage into a modern building) provided constant visual surprises, and we never got bored with it. (Only problem: if...more
Excellent accommodation. Had a very relaxing time and would recommend. Everything was perfect. Very clean with absolutely everything thought about from towels for the hot tub to binoculars to view the stunning scenery. With Sonia and Lee as hosts as the cherry on the cake.
Comfortable house. Plenty of space. Well equipped for cooking. Conservatory had quite a few cobwebs up high that needs cleaning. Water pressure is weak in the showers and could do with a booster being fitted. There were no working outdoor lights which is a real shame given the garden is a selling point.
Beautifully presented and very comfortable cottage, ideal for Folkestone and the surrounding area. Well equipped and clean - we had everything we needed. Hosts were friendly but not over bearing - just left us to enjoy our holiday. Would definately stay again.
What an amazing place to stay! The house is stunning and the views are incredible. The kitchen is well-equipped with everything you need to cook up a large family meal. We loved the additional kitchenette on the first floor which meant we could make tea and warm baby bottles without needing to go downstairs. The master bedroom was the highlight for us and waking up to watch the sunrise over the horizon over the sea was a beautiful experience. The house was big enough to make sure that we all had space without being on top of each other, but could also spend lots of quality family t...more
My family loved this stay at The Old Schoolroom. A beautiful house, very comfortable and well equipped with lots of charm and character.
We found the House tastefully decorated, perfectly equipped and immaculately clean. The garden ist a dream and especially our children loved it. We really enjoyed our stay and plan to come back next year.
As you arrive down this hidden a way sandy track of a road, rolling along on sandy waves to the most perfect destination. This is the best bit of Camber if like us you want to avoid hilly climbs up sand dunes. It is a flat walk to the beach and takes but a minute. Lark Rise is a tardis of a building, you walk into a huge open plan kitchen, dining, living room. You feel as if you have been transported to Montauk. The peaceful garden has a perfect “end of garden” cabin, a little ( actually not so little ! ) self contained studio. A hot tub bubbling away ready to invite you in. It has eve...more
We enjoyed ourselves in this beautiful holiday cottage in a superb location midway between Folkestone and Hythe. It was decorated nicely, comfortable, clean and very well equipped. There were thoughtful provisions for our little dog and a lovely welcome hamper for us. The sea views are stupendous. Just be mindful it is on a busy road and although double glazed there is some residual traffic noise. Handy for the regular buses in either direction and well placed for promenade walks. If arriving without a car like us we would recommend supermarket home delivery, there is a little convenience shop...more
The wow factor of the property is huge! Everything has been thought and caters for everyone. From the chill out tv and games room with its small kitchen, to the hot tub and fabulous beach access from the garden. Kitchen excellently stocked with appliances and equipment. It’s was wonderful to get our grown up children and their partners together for a week of fun and lots of laughter in such a beautiful house.
We stayed for 3 nights and everything was 5*. The owners have thought of everything to make stays at The Hayloft an unforgettable experience. We will definitely be returning!
The place was as described great views comfy bed really quiet slept so well loved the outside space was nice to have breakfast looking out to sea then whenever we go back would sit outside til late buses are frequent so ideally placed for a relaxing week with great places to eat, the host was friendly and responded instantly when had question will be back and recommend
We loved staying at the Hayloft, the views are gorgeous with sheep and the sihouettes of 2 horses on the hilltop. Inside the property its beautifully furnished with care and design with a lot of light. Everything you would need and more is there for you to use. THe cleaners must also get a mention as it was beautifully clean. The hot tub was another added bonus. There are plenty of walks with rolling hills all around. Would love to come back
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Rumwold shepherds hut. Perfect location for seeing the local area, we spent a day at Port Lympne and had a Sunday roast at The Woolpack Inn not far away. The communication and services have been brilliant, the little touches and aesthetic were wonderful. We are planning to come back with our little one and stay at the family hut in the spring.
We had a really wonderful stay in the huts which had been beautifully decorated for Christmas. We'd love to go back!
This is a truly lovely house with everything you need and the most amazing views over the shoreline and channel. We were four couples and each of the ensuite rooms was really big with nice bathrooms. The fifth bedroom., which is smaller but perfectly decorated, is next door to a separate bathroom with a big slipper bath. The beds were very comfortable, with soft linens and fluffy towels (and plenty of them!). Common spaces were ideal for the 8 of us - comfy sofas in front a well stocked fire, a large kitchen table as well as a large dining table and a few other places to sneak off and hang out...more
I stayed for just one night and it was the most beautiful staycation I’ve ever had! Being surrounded by the sheep, watching the sunset and sunrise it was like living in a dream!! The Shepard’s hut has everything from airfryer to a hob so it’s full of amenities!!
The cottage was perfect for our needs - 2 of us, I think 6 might have been a stretch. Having the sea at the end of the garden with private access to the sea wall walk was perfect. The beach was always near empty (October) so it felt very private. We would love to make a return visit to this cottage.
We stayed at this house between Christmas and New Year 2024/5 and had a wonderful stay. The house is very well equipped for a family and the location is brilliant. Thank you for hosting us - we hope to be back!
Excellent stay, our group spans 3 generations so the large lounge and seating areas were fabulous. John's handover was good with lots of information to assist us with our stay. We had a lovely weekend and would definitely recommend.
Title: A Fantastic Weekend Getaway with Friends We stayed at this holiday home for the weekend with a group of friends, and it couldn’t have been better. The house was clean, spacious, and beautifully furnished — perfect for relaxing and spending time together. We enjoyed the hot tub and games room. The setting was peaceful and private, which made the whole experience even more enjoyable. The kitchen was well-equipped, the beds were comfortable, and the living area was cozy and inviting. We enjoyed the use of the log burner.
We stayed at Old Harrow Barn for the Summer holidays- 2025. We had the best time. The house was really clean and beautifully decorated. Very modern and has everything you could need. The owners were so helpful with any queries we had throughout our stay. Would highly recommend! It was the nicest holiday accommodation we have stayed in. Hot Tub was perfect! Thank you!
The living space is really nice for a family. The kitchen is well equipped to make any kind of meal. The extra fridge in the utility room was a bonus. It has a real country feeling and the added hot tub which is maintained so well was great to unwind. They kindly left us bread, milk, butter , bread, juice and a bottle of wine. All bedrooms were lovely with lovely bedding and fluffy towels.
A lovely place to stay, the vieuws are stunning, we were fortunate with the weather. Nice walks in the area, not to hard, and flat! No climbing! We will come back to explore Romney Marsh a bit more. And the shop is nirvana for knitters!
I booked a surprise weekend for my wife's 50th birthday & couldn't have been happier with the property. It ticked all of the boxes and had everything we needed for 18 of us. Being autumn the swimming poo was not available but would definitely be back in warmer times to take advantage of that. The beds were supper comfy and the water was extremely hot and in abundance. Communication with the property manager was seamless and instant. All in all this house had everything & more so couldn't fault anything
We loved our stay at the Castle Cottage. The cottage was even better than the photos showcased. The historic fittings and decor of the house was incredible charming. Paired with a large dining area and updated kitchen, it was a fantastic combination of old world charm and modern convenience. The cottage was close to central Canterbury, the train station and some delightful shops and restaurants. It's central location meant it was quite loud in the evening with passers by, but things quieted down by 11pm or so. I will note that the stairs are quite steep and this would not be a good fit for any...more
We had a great couple of days in Folkestone staying at 24 The View at Shoreline. It was an amazing location overlooking the beach, right on the boardwalk. It was just a short walk from the harbour and old town centre where there were some great restaurants and cafes. 24 The Short Line was a very comfortable place to stay. Had everything we could need. It had a balcony overlooking the beach and sea, which was a wonderful spot to sit. It also had a lovely garden area out the back.
This is an attractive, clean, comfortable and well equipped flat. Not only is it a few steps from the seafront, you can walk to the cafes, shops and pubs in Hythe, and along the beautiful canal. Sal’s hospitality is top notch. Communication with her was easy, and we appreciated the flowers, snacks, wine and milk thoughtfully provided. We will stay here again when we return to the area.
A perfect stay in the barn. A marvelous surrounding in Kent/Sussex. Nice Walks. In a short time in Whitsable to enjoy the oysters and the. Same to Beachy Head. Don’t forget Tunbridge Wells. We Will be back in spring 2026
What a fantastic house! We absolutely loved our time at the Cot. Everything has been so well thought out and it’s been furnished really well. Our Spaniel loved the choice of dog beds, toys and treats. We had lovely walk to Rye and another walk to the Charles Palmer Vineyard for some wine tasting (highly recommend) We’ve never really thought of going back to the same place twice but the Cot has changed our minds. We will be back!
A little Elizabethan jewel in the countryside, this cottage is a wood-beamed haven of peace, birdsong and privacy with every modern amenity one could wish for. It's also incredibly secure, protected by a small team of almost invisible people nearby but not on site who keep a quiet unobtrusive eye on it - so much better than burglar alarms. I was blissfully happy here for 16 nights and will definitely be going back.
This apartment is lovely, it is spacious and very well kept. It is most central. Bloom-stays are very approachable and most accommodating and welcoming. I would highly recommend them.
The house has beautiful views of the beach, a great outdoor space overlooking the beach and it's a really great space. It has everything you could possibly need and more. The bedrooms are lovely, all with en suites, the ground floor offers an open plan kitchen, diner and living space plus a reception room. We didn't use the basement but that was also a great space if you needed it. We had a wonderful stay and would definitely recommend it.
The house is fabulous and well equipped. It’s a very short walk from Tankerton beach and shops and a little longer walk to Whitstable. The hot tub was a real treat.
The place was immaculate and perfectly suited to our family grouping of 15. Accessibility was great too for our 98 year old father. The kitchen is superbly stocked with a huge variety of utensils too which made life very easy. We used the large kitchen table for breakfasts as and when people emerged each morning, and then ate all together on the wonderful dining table each evening. The garden area was lovely for family games frisbee etc, and tennis court a great addition, though we did have to pop out to buy some balls. On one day we headed off to do go karting about 30 mins away. The gro...more
Lovely accommodation in one of my favourite places in the UK. I would highly recommend West Cottage to anyone who loves Dungeness or want to experience it's beauty for the first time.
We had a lovely stay at Cart Lodge using it as a base for exploring the area. Each time we came home from a day out we felt that we were coming home as the house was so warm, well equipped and comfortable. Very good communication for arrival Thank you
The property was very attractive and comfortable. The all en suite bedrooms were large and comfortable. The large living area and huge kitchen were excellent as was the balcony. The pool was superb with perfect temperature and the BBQs clean and well equipped. Beautiful peaceful surroundings. Great holiday location for groups large or small
Ten of us stayed at Regency Beach house and all of us were blown away by how stunning the house is. It’s spacious, comfortable, full of interesting pictures, sculptures and bits and bobs, and has a lovely walled patio garden. The view from the grand lounge, with the French doors open is wonderful and relaxing. There’s a lovely dining room and a cool cinema room. (We had couples in double beds and one of them was smallish, but there were six useable bedrooms so we managed).
We loved the location of the house just off the high street and very near the beach. The house was very clean and comfortable. The bathroom was amazing with great shower and separate bath. It has a large garden to sit outside. The kitchen was also very well equipped and had a good dining area. Even had wins fridge. I thought it was reasonably priced. Few negatives ; could not get oven to work no instructions.looked on internet. No bin to put recycling outside even though it was separated in kitchen. Parking on near by roads not that easy to find and car park opposite had to move car by...more
Waters Edge is an ideal location for a family celebration, with great accommodation, modern with a coastal theme to the rooms. The kitchen has all the equipment you need for a self catering stay and plenty of space to gather while preparing the meals. Having the beach at the back of the property, with access from the garden was ideal for the morning walks and seeing the sunrise over the sea was a beautiful sight. We can definitely recommend Waters Edge for a special occasion and would book with Bloom Stays again
Two of us plus our dog stayed for 3 nights. Nice quiet, isolated location with dog walks available from the place. Decently equipped so easy to cook at the premises. Great location for trips to Kent sites, e.g. Canterbury, Dover Castle…
Excellent location. Easy walking distance to Pilot Inn. Great 5km run route around Dungeness estate and back. Backs right onto the railway for great train spotting. Very clean and well looked after, has everything you need for a perfect UK holiday.
Great accommodation in a lovely spot - or third visit!! We're planning on another stay next summer. You can't keep us away!
We had a lovely time in the cottage, the location is stunning (except the road to go to the cottage is terrible) and it is so quiet... ! We had one towel per person, this is not enough for a week And there were not enough comfort chairs to sit for four adults...or 2 couches... But we had a pleasant stay here, thank you, kind regards G.Delgrosso-Massaut
We had a brilliant family reunion celebrating 70th birthdays. The amazing house and superb location helped to make it a very special occasion.
beautifully decorated cottage in small village. Easy access to key areas of interest like Rye and Hastings.
it was a delight to stay at Driftwood Cottage. Everything about it was super - lovely quality decor, comfortable beds, very well equipped, beautiful views and perfect location on the beach.
This was our second stay at The Bull Pen. The accommodation continues to be modern, airy and spacious and equipped with everything you need for a short break. We love the quiet location, surrounded by countryside, but only a couple of miles from the main road making exploring Kent and East Sussex very accessible. Would highly recommend this property!
Beadles is a beautiful property in Sandwich Bay, located at a nice quiet road, easy walking distance from the beach. The house feels historic with interesting elements to it. It felt spacious, accommodated comfortably 12 of us. The children loved the property, the garden, the playroom. It was a perfect house to host our extended family, get away together quality time.
Celebrating an early Thanksgiving, we wanted a house where our friends could come together, hang out, eat well and make the best of the Kent countryside. At Lower Standen Farmhouse we were all to do and enjoy all of these things. The house has been beautifully restored with the prize going to the wonderful kitchen/dining room. Surrounded by glass overlooking the lush garden, the views and colours are an ever-changing joy with the underfloor heating meaning that we spent most of our time here. No lonely feelings for our chef ..... she probably had more help this year than ever before! Bedrooms ...more
The location was nice and cosy with everything what was needed for a comfort stay during holidays. We also enjoyed being in the garden just reading a book or enjoying the nature, because the neighborhood was really quiet. The location was close to supermarkets, which could be reached within only a couple of minutes by car. The beautiful Canterbury was also only a couple of minutes by car. A lot of nice places could be reached in short time, which was really nice. We enjoyed our stay a lot and had really nice holidays.
We had a superb week in Newenden in a spacious, neat and tidy house, certainly also thanks to the friendly owner who provided a lot of information and usefull tips to make our holiday even better.
This was our second year staying at The Landing Hythe. Highly recommended. Great communication with house contact when needing to ask questions or needing help. Good location. Lots of space and a homely feeling.
We booked this place for a celebration. It had all we wanted and it was clean and well located to access Faversham town centre. The Quay is a great place and you have access to river walks.
We had a wonderful stay at The Perch at Shoreline. The location could not be better - just steps away from the beach with beautiful views, and only a short walk along the boardwalk to reach a variety of great restaurants. The free underground parking was a huge plus, and the kitchen and bathroom were well equipped with all the essentials we needed. The owner was very responsive and helpful throughout our stay, which we really appreciated. The only downside was the additional £50 fee to use the double sofa bed, which felt a little unreasonable given that it is already part of the unit. ...more
This is a fantastic property, beautifully designed and presented. Wonderful setting near the lighthouses on Dungeness. We very much enjoyed our stay here. Our only suggestions would be more information on using the appliances and would be really helpful to have a washing machine (recognising the challenge of incorporating it into the beautiful fittings!!)
We had a great time here for my boyfriends birthday. The hot tub is lovely and the surrounding area beautiful with lots of amenities. Feels very private even though you're next to 3 other huts. I'd really recommend it and will be coming back to stay
Lovely last minute olde world cottage with a modern twist when our original booking fell through. Very happy with our choice in this quiet and secluded cottage in the Kent countryside. Great bedroom and huge bathroom was a delight really enjoyed our stay. The limited headroom downstairs and the doors was not a problem for me as I’m only 4”11 whereas anyone taller like my partner who is 6” plus, might find it challenging.
We had a great stay at Goldings. The accommodation was lovely and the hot tub was great. The staff were all really friendly and helpful. The food and drink on site was great too.
Starting with the positives, Radar is in a great location at Dungeness, and we loved the huge window overlooking the shingle beach. The property was nice and warm, although we wonder how hot it would get in summer. Beware, however, that there is no parking at the property, and this is not mentioned on the Bloom Stays website. When I queried this with them, I was told there was an allocated parking space 30 seconds walk away. This is not correct - it took me 4 minutes to walk there. There is a small area of public parking about 50 metres from Radar, but only if there is space available. T...more
Brilliant pool, whole family really loved it. Property functional, but very hot especially at night. Fans supplied, but not easiest to use. Cleanliness inside quite good, but outside balconies needed sweeping badly and clearly not done recently, which would have expected before our arrival.. No phone reception in Property but was aware of this before arrival, was great could use WhatsApp to contact bloom stays as we had issue with washing machine, and they dealt with it very quickly, great service, even though I am still awaiting my deposit refund. Our extended family of 12 (6 adults and 6 children) had a wonderful stay at the Canterbury Barn. The barn is beautifully decorated, with lots of space and stunning views of the Kent countryside. The children loved the hot tub and there was lots of room for them to play and run around. It was easy to get into Canterbury and the local areas. Thank you!
Everything from start to finish was excellent. The team at Bloom Stays have always been first class. The cottage is idyllic in it’s location and has everything provided for a perfect stay.
Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La maison est exceptionnellement décorée et c’est un véritable coup de cœur.
An absolutely fabulous weekend ! Indulged in views, enjoyed the wonderful weather, and the house is just perfect. From cooking in the carriage, to relaxing in front of the wood burner, a lovely walk on the beach and listening to the waves from the deck with a glass or two of wine, was all extremely relaxing. A great couple of day trips out to Hastings, and Rye, which were truly enjoyable. We cannot wait to go back!
We really like being here and hope to come back, soon! It's a very local place, but quiet an tidy. We always feel like being home. Thanks for having us here!
We stayed at Masketts Barn at the end of June for 4 nights. The Barn is huge, with 6 good size bedrooms, a large kitchen which is well equipped and has a tall fridge and a 5 drawer freezer which is in the utility area. The kitchen table seats 10. The two gardens are huge, one is a walled garden and the other overlooks the fields. There were 6 loungers and 2 tables with around 14 or so chairs in the garden, overlooking the fields. The one major issue we had (which I should have picked up on before booking) is that there is only 1 shower and there were 13 of us. I read it had 2 bathrooms w...more
The hut was just idyllic, and perfect for a couple of nights away. The view was beautiful and it was peaceful, we didn’t really hear any noise from the farm. The hot tub was amazing and so relaxing to just sit and look out onto the view. The bed was really comfy, and the hut had everything you needed for a short trip. The only thing which would have been great was the option for some sun loungers as it was really hot.
We had a great time at this cottage, just what we wanted, a house in a very quite location but near the city of Canterbury with everything there, the house is very comfortable, loads of couches, a brand new kitchen, and the Hot tub was perfect we all set in in the morning and in the evening, we would love to come back soon.
we stayed for 5 days at this beautiful place. Perfect, comfort, charming. The house is well equiped and clean and cosy. It was excellent!
Booked this accommodationn last minute as a birthday treat for my 86 year old mum. She opened the gate to the garden and beamed. It has a gorgeous walled garden with very comfortable outdoor furniture and is a real suntrap in the afternoons so would recommend if you have a dog. The house was spotlessly clean, the beds very comfortable and lovely to be able to make up a fire to sit around and watch a film in the evenings. Parking is next to the property and very secure. Location was ideal for visits to Doddington gardens and Mount Ephraim gardens if they are of interest to you as they are o...more
We’ve just returned from our second stay at Bunny Cottage in Saltwood, and once again, it was absolutely wonderful. Coming back felt like visiting an old friend—warm, familiar, and full of charm. The cottage is just as delightful as we remembered: beautifully kept, cozy, and thoughtfully furnished. Everything is spotless and well-equipped, making it easy to relax and feel at home. Saltwood itself is a lovely village, and Bunny Cottage is the ideal base to explore the surrounding countryside and coast. It’s rare to find a place that feels so welcoming and special, which is why we didn’...more
Really lovely property and location. Lots of character and very comfortable, we loved it. Customer service was also great and very responsive. A dishwasher/ washing machine would be a good addition, otherwise no complaints.
Wonderful first impression on driving up to the property, location was perfect for a bit of 'me' time. Struck lucky with the weather and was able to sit outside a lot of the time, enjoying the birds, of which there were plenty, including a sparrowhawk that sat on the fence and shocked the socks off me, closest I'd ever been to one, a special moment. Garden was in Autumn mode, so a bit bare, which is only to be expected, apples all over the place which probably came down in the high wind a few days before but I managed to salvage quite a few so they weren't wasted. They were truly delicious too...more
Dungeness is a special place to stay and PS1 did not disappoint. The space was great and the windows to the rear framed the landscape beautifully. Excellent customer service from Bloom stays when something outside of their control occurred.
We've used Bloom Stays several times over the last 18 months or so. I've always had a wonderful and attentive experience using them for short breaks to Kent. Nothing is too much trouble. Their communications is fantastic and the team there really know how to look after you and their accommodations. Will be booking again soon! Thank you.
Seagulls is a stunning property with amazing views out to sea. It has some fantastic features, such as the large bedrooms and the incredible views. But we also felt there were some areas to improve for a luxury property. Whilst we were aware that the property was not the whole building, we were not aware that the owner lived below. We were particularly surprised to realise that she controlled the property heating, which we had to request to be turned on, which felt strange. The parking information also needs to be updated on the website as permits are not £2 per day and we were not offered...more
Fabulous historic house in an amazing location. Everything we needed was provided. Plenty of space for our family of four. Bloom Stays were very helpful with my last minute booking.
This lovely home is just great for a family holiday. The pool is always a winner with children (and adults when it gets hot!) and the games room provides a useful time filler for the more energetic! The bedrooms are all comfortable, kitchen well equipped and lots of break out spaces for those that like a little 'me time'. The BBQ, fire pit, fish pond and outdoor games all provided those little 'extras' that make a holiday memorable. We loved it!
My stay at The Homestead was amazing. The house was bigger and brighter than expected - all guests that arrived said the pictures do not do it justice. The place was well-equipped and the beds were very surprisingly comfortable. The location was beautiful and in a scenic area. I enjoyed a few cups of tea in the morning sun and at night looking up at the many stars. With the lovely weather we felt like we were further away from our homes in London 1-2 hours away. We went for a group walk to really take it in! Check-in was very quick with the host just requiring a call when we were on the way...more
We had our 25th wedding anniversary getaway at Little Sunray Dungeness. The property was really great just as quirky as the photos implied but comfy and practical at the same time. So many seating areas to really make use of all the views. Very well equipped for cooking, baking, playing board games or watching films. Though we did none of these because it was all about the location for us: open the back door to the sound and smell of the sea. Next door to the Power Station which looks impressive by day or by night, The light house, the stream train, the nature reserve! Great for walks s...more
Fantastic stay for our first wedding anniversary was absolutely gorgeous, clean and perfectly kept. Highly recommend and will definitely be returning
Great staycation with exclusive use of swimming pool and tennis court. Lovely surroundings, quiet and calm atmosphere. The place is generally comfortable although the attic is too hot and stuffy to sleep even with the windows open. I would suggest the host provide a fan upstairs. Also there is no chopping board and sieve in the kitchen for self catering.
Experience the outdoors indoors. Watch the shingle, sky and sea changing colour hour by hour, day by day. See the lighthouse beams sweep across the sky, scattered by rain and fog. Hear the wind rumbling through the tower, and waves crashing on the shingle. Explore the marsh where the redcoats chased the smugglers. Visit the Cinque Port towns of Rye and Winchelsea. Enjoy the desolation and quirkiness of Dungeness.
It was a very convenient flat to stay in during our stay in Canterbury. My relatives reside in and around the city, so ideal for visiting them. Thankfully, the weather was mild, but early morning and late evening would have been warmer if the heaters in main bedroom and en-suite could have been made to work. Otherwise, a delightful experience and location.
Great for our extended family. Gorgeous pool. Very comfortable and lovely large garden. Would highly recommend
As an interim resting place during a change of residence, Walnut Tree Cottage offered a comfortable and well equipped home from home. It was ideal for my requirements.
Had a fabulous weekend, the house was clean, big grounds, comfortable layout of the house. Only few minor details - no amenities in showers and only one hairdryer for the whole house
We loved the apartment - it was warm and comfortable - especially the beds! We had all the equipment we needed for our stay - although we never found the TV Sky Entertainment Package? Wi-Fi worked well. It was well placed for walking into Canterbury centre and some local supermarkets - Sainsburys and Waitrose. Negative points were that on arrival it was dark and despite the directions, it was difficult to find the way in - not very well lit and lots of small steps to trip up! Fine in the summer, but maybe another sensor light would be good. When we opened the fridge it smelled horrid - ...more
This is an unusual 'house' - the conversion has been done well in limited space (though the bathroom could have been better thought through!). All the furniture and fittings are right for the style and space, don't clutter the rooms, and are clean. All the equipment is there in the kitchen, and really nice crockery and cutlery. The best feature is the massive windows on the ground and top two floors - wonderful views on all sides, and keep the wind out! We had excellent customer service from the owner over a small problem, which was promptly and pleasantly dealt with. The only, minor, down...more
We enjoyed our short break in excellent accommodation, which was perfect for our needs. Clearly a lot of thought had gone in to the accommodation and everything had been finished to a high standard. We would certainly stay there again if we are in the area and would recommend to anyone who is visiting East Sussex, an perfect base for many local National Trust places.
Especially for the cost, this property is old, tired and needs a really good clean. Surface level it looks ok on arrival but there were dirty towels still on the back of the bedroom door, used cotton buds in the bathroom bin and hair in the bed. The rest is really just quite old and tired and needs a really deep clean, lots of pet hairs in the carpets, if you happen to have allergies or small children roaming round on the floor. Location is good, short walk into Sandgate high street and across from the beach.
