We have loved our time at the the reading rooms, a beautiful and cosy cottage, all on one level. Kitchen was very well equipped. Wood supplied for the wood burner. Situated in a small quiet hamlet The garden sits right next to the beck, & Sheep grazing on the hill sides. There was a well thought out welcome pack for us and one for the dogs. Although they did fight over the ball! We ventured out every day. There is so much to see and do. We visited Malham tarn. This was our twelfth visit to the Hall over several years, each time we are always impressed by the quality of the property. Well maintained, excellent facilities, warm and comfortable. The location is excellent, walking, photography (especially for no light pollution night shots) there is virtually everything you could want. Will we be back - undoubtedly!
Crasters location on the Northumbria coast is ideal for getting to know the area. Harbourway has a brilliant location in the village with views of the Hatbour. Just set back far enough from the road so passers by cannot disturb you, the village is so quiet at night you can hear the sea. The property was a wonderful flow to it, with an extremely well thought out interior. The beds are as comfy as home with good linens and pillows too. Just back from our third stay at Middlerigg - in our opinion the loveliest house in Craster. The decor is comfortable and tasteful and the bathrooms are modern and spotlessly clean. We didn’t really use the kitchen as dining out in the area is fabulous, however it is spacious and extremely well equipped. The mezzanine room has the best view in the house although the views from all windows are stunning. Would recommend this house to anyone looking for a luxurious home from home in a stunning location

Our second visit to Rock Lobster was very enjoyable. We love the location - being able to hear the waves is a delight.
