Fantastic property in a wonderful location. The quiet beach was easily accessible. The property itself was beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Lots of space for a large family gathering. The welcome pack was amazing. Seeing hares and deer so close to the house was a bonus. Would love to return.
We had the most wonderful stay, a beautiful home which was hard to leave, but when we did the property is perfectly located to get to experience the beauty that is The Dales. the fact we could walk outside and be on the Dales Way was beautiful. We took our Labrador and the property as well as the surroundings were just perfect for a week away with the dog. Ben was brilliant and checked in to make sure we had what we need. Oughtershaw Hall is a beautiful place to stay, perfect in every way. The house has been done up to an excellent and very tasteful standard - no expense spared! It feels so comfortable, cosy and enjoyable being there, despite it being fairly large all the home-comforts really does make it a very special and warm place to come and either relax or enjoy a special get together. We especially appreciated the swimming pool and sauna (including the kids) as well as the basement games room for the kids. Now retired my husband and I booked Middlerigg in order that we could also invite our grownup children and granddaughter. We are originally from Northumberland and so knew Craster well. Middlerigg didn’t disappoint - with its outstanding position and comfortable, well equipped interior. That coupled with the evocative smell and relaxing sound of the sea - the local smoke house, the famous local crab sandwiches and the spectacular walk to Dunstanburgh Castle - well is it no surprise that a truly magical holiday was had by both young and old. We had an excellent time at Harbour way, but we're surprised to find it wasn't as clean as we'd expect (last year at Driftwood was exceptional). Some cups still had coffee marks on them and hairs and dust were under beds (noticed when popping out bags underneath after unpacking) and in the main (bath only) bathroom. The shower seals could have been cleaner too. That aside, the house if excellently provisioned and the customer service it second to none. We'd certainly recommend and return.

This house is a brilliant choice for an extended family gathering. Plenty of space for all and very well equipped - we particularly loved the conservatory. Grounds are extensive and it was a real plus having access to the river. Communication, welcome treats and information pack were all fabulous. Great location too, with a variety of things to do within a fairly small radius.
Mill Farmhouse is a stunning “no expense spared” holiday home. It’s a really comfortable house, the bedrooms are large with super beds and modern, spotless en suites. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook a family meal although dining out in the area is excellent. The location of Mill Farmhouse is idyllic, standing in a large rural plot it’s a lovely place to totally relax and enjoy the local wildlife and watch the birds. We have had a thoroughly lovely holiday and we’re very impressed with the accommodation. It is very well kitted out and maintained, it felt like a real luxury stay with the beds being very comfortable and the best towels we have had in accommodation for years. We will be back
