Fantastic property in a wonderful location. The quiet beach was easily accessible. The property itself was beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Lots of space for a large family gathering. The welcome pack was amazing. Seeing hares and deer so close to the house was a bonus. Would love to return.
We had a wonderful stay at the Reading Rooms this is our 3 rd stay this year at a Catch the Breeze property They are all finished to an amazing standard We could not recommend highly enough We will be back very soon
Back to Oughtershaw Hall for a weekend with our family of 15. This was our fourth stay which was yet again amazing. The house and grounds continue to be maintained to the highest standard. Tara & Ben were great as usual to deal with, and we look forward to visiting again in the future.
Beautiful, stylish, comfortable cottage. Enjoyed yet another week. So close to our favourite spots. We’ve had a lovely time!
We had a lovely long weekend at Tan Llan. The house and grounds are beautiful. The house is comfortable and well equipped. We even enjoyed the open fire thanks to storm Amy! Plenty of parking. Comfortable beds. The only thing I would say is the downstairs toilets could do with more toilet rolls when you're at full capacity as they get used most. We look forward to finding a reason to come back. Thanks
We have stayed in many self-catering properties before, but this was without doubt the best. Comfortable, warm, clean and with absolutely everything you could possibly need. From a well equipped kitchen, to soft bath sheets and comfortable beds and furniture, we could not fault Middlerigg. Personal touches were welcome as well. A variety of things in a welcome pack - butter, bread, milk, biscuits etc. And a couple of visits from Claire to check everything was OK was very reassuring. And then there is the view - across the harbour to Dunstanburgh Castle and out to sea. We could sit all day w...more
We were really looking forward to staying in this very new property and we were not disappointed. The house, the comfort, the quality of the furniture, the views.......!!. did not disappoint and the photos do not do it justice. It's hard to explain how a property can be both spacious and cosy at the same time but Mill Farmhouse really is. With 3 separate lounge areas there is room for everyone to "do their own thing" yet still feel involved in all that is going on. The kitchen is fabulous for both cooking and socialising. All bedrooms and en-suites are spacious and comfortable and no one...more
House is in a great location with sea view close to harbour. Plenty of walks from the village so no need to get into the car. There is a pub in the village which serves good food
Rock Lobster was the perfect house from which to explore the beautiful Northumberland coastline. As well as enjoying the perfect location overlooking the sea, it offered everything which we needed to make our stay comfortable, in both good weather and bad. The kitchen was well equipped and generously provisioned, the upstairs sitting room and its balcony and view were a particular joy and the bedrooms and bathrooms were quiet and comfortable. As a party of 8 (4 couples) we had plenty of space for both group and individual entertainment - and had a wonderful time. Clare, the letting agent, was...more
A fabulously well designed and equipped house in the centre of Craster. Stylishly furnished with comfortable beds. Plenty of space for up to 6 people with 3 large bedrooms and 2 modern bathrooms with excellent showers and a downstairs cloakroom/utility room. Fantastic position in village with breathtaking views of castle and countryside. A couple of minutes walk to local pub The Jolly Fisherman where we would recommend booking as gets very busy at weekends. Thoroughly enjoyed our walk to the castle and beach beyond, Good parking at front property and to rear if you have a second car. Excellen...more
