Fantastic property in a wonderful location. The quiet beach was easily accessible. The property itself was beautifully furnished and very well equipped. Lots of space for a large family gathering. The welcome pack was amazing. Seeing hares and deer so close to the house was a bonus. Would love to return.
We had the most wonderful stay, a beautiful home which was hard to leave, but when we did the property is perfectly located to get to experience the beauty that is The Dales. the fact we could walk outside and be on the Dales Way was beautiful. We took our Labrador and the property as well as the surroundings were just perfect for a week away with the dog. Ben was brilliant and checked in to make sure we had what we need. The welcome hamper for us and the dog were such lovely touches. The most comfortable bed! Did not want to leave, we will be finding more of the properties to stay in ac...more
Oughtershaw Hall is a beautiful place to stay, perfect in every way. The house has been done up to an excellent and very tasteful standard - no expense spared! It feels so comfortable, cosy and enjoyable being there, despite it being fairly large all the home-comforts really does make it a very special and warm place to come and either relax or enjoy a special get together. We especially appreciated the swimming pool and sauna (including the kids) as well as the basement games room for the kids. One thing to note, it's setting is very rural so perfect if you want a bit of peace and quiet b...more
This is our 4th visit to a Catch the Breeze property in Craster Driftwood was just as amazing as the others and we had a wonderful week Long walks alone the costal path and beaches Lovely scenery the highlight perhaps was the Artic Tern nesting ground near Beadnell Amazing week thanks to Catch the Breeze again
We love Middlerig and this is our second visit. Catch the Breeze provide wonderful support when problems arise and we have no complaints there. The only issue with the property is the seating in the lounge and also in the mezzanine. Both of these rooms have seating which is desperately uncomfortable. Change that and the place would be perfect.
Having stayed in the house previously we were interested to see how it was with new owners. Overall it was great! Beds comfortable , bathrooms well organised kitchen well equipped. The location is perfect most morning coffee taken outside looking out to sea.
This house is a brilliant choice for an extended family gathering. Plenty of space for all and very well equipped - we particularly loved the conservatory. Grounds are extensive and it was a real plus having access to the river. Communication, welcome treats and information pack were all fabulous. Great location too, with a variety of things to do within a fairly small radius.
Mill Farmhouse is a stunning “no expense spared” holiday home. It’s a really comfortable house, the bedrooms are large with super beds and modern, spotless en suites. The kitchen has everything you need if you want to cook a family meal although dining out in the area is excellent. The location of Mill Farmhouse is idyllic, standing in a large rural plot it’s a lovely place to totally relax and enjoy the local wildlife and watch the birds. A five minute stroll across the adjoining fields takes you to a beautiful sandy beach or on to the coastal path leading to Beadnell bay in about 20 mins, an...more
