We really enjoyed our stay at Taylor's Copse. The accommodation was very comfortable and had everything we needed. The hosts were really welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay a memorable one. Lots of good local pubs and walks made for a great few days.
Home from another wonderful stay in Seaford with my husband, two children and our dog. Seaphare has recently been fully renovated and the transformation is incredible. We loved it the last time we stayed, and now it’s even better! The beach views from the upstairs living space are spectacular and the house just has a wonderful feeling of serenity and calm with large comfy sofas, where you could spend all day looking out to sea. That coupled with the fact that the house is fully equipped with everything you could want and need - A modern kitchen and large dining space and it’s all tastefully an...more
We loved our stay in the boat house, a beautiful place to stay, to celebrate a birthday and anniversary. It was located in a lovely setting, a short distance from Chichester natural Harbour. We were spoiled for choice on where to go and explore, in-fact we had a week exploring the area, and we could have stayed longer. Laura was very helpful, when we needed to ask about something, and it was soon sorted. If you are looking for a beautiful property to kick back and relax in, this is it. We will definitely return.
We had a great long weekend at Sea Breezes. A lovely property, great layout and the house worked well for the group. Loved the walks around Pagham harbour and a slightly boggy wet walk to the Crab and Lobster ( lovely welcome and delicious food). Unmade road is the only tricky bit but as long as you are in no rush it’s fine!
A beautiful place to stay in. The cottage had everything you would need for a comfortable stay. It was immaculate and stylish. The view up to Beacon Hill was amazing and the surrounding countryside reminded you of how England should look. The hosts Eileen & Chris were really friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely stay there again. Ditchling is fascinating with period houses it’s steeped in history. A tip you must have an afternoon tea at the Nutmeg Tree tea room.

This beautiful cottage is outstanding in every way, each room has its own personality and warmth, from coming in the gate to the front door and beyond. Great for snuggling up by the fire after a long soak in the beautiful bathroom after a long walk or shopping.
Lovely cottage in an idyllic setting xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Our recent stay at Little Vintners was fantastic. Beautiful private location, modern yet homey cottage and great facilities. Everything was perfect for us. Julian & Alain were super helpful but left us to experience the place and take in the peacefulness. Totally great!
Wonderful stay in Benenden. The house is beautiful, and really very well equipped, even the kitchen! The layout of the house is really very convenient with children, and the toys and books left available are great. The owners are available if needed and very kind. The place is beautiful, the English countryside is really very beautiful. Lots of things to do in the surrounding area: Bedgebury a must, the really beautiful Hole Gardens, Rye 30 minutes away, etc... A great stay, we recommend!!!
We enjoyed our stay at Library Cottage set within a beautiful walled garden. The cottage was very comfortable and well equipped and our hosts Chris and Liz were friendly and welcoming. It was a busy week as there are many attractions in the area.
Very comfortable and peaceful, it suited us perfectly. Well appointed cottage. I enjoyed being able to explore the local footpaths.
We stayed here for a family celebration (10 Adults), and we were blown away by the house, it was amazing. It looked great in the pictures, and it certainly did not disappoint when we arrived. The house is so spacious and perfect for a large family gathering, the location is perfect, tucked away at the end of a lane, it's very private, and the views were fantastic. We stayed in October when the weather wasn't great, so we didn't get to use the pool, I'd love to come back in the summer to enjoy all of the outside space.
The title of review says it all. Great place to go for a quiet weekend in gorgeous historical house.
We have spent a very enjoyable family holiday at the property. The location is really excellent. Beautiful beaches of East Sussex are easy to reach, and the village itself is also pretty. The house had everything we needed. The description and the photos are accurate. The agents were very helpful.
House & garden layout worked out perfectly for my family, specially our 2 old dogs & 4 year old grand daughter, with plenty of space. Quiet location on private estate yet short walk to shops & a good flat walk to coast. Good facilities & instructions.
Very quiet, secluded and comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay here with pheasants and deer as the only company.
We had a wonderful time at The Poolhouse. The weather was perfect and the pool was a real bonus! We could not have enjoyed it more!
We had a lovely stay at Apple tree barn, Clare the owner greeted us on arrival. The place was lovely, clean and beautifully done, also nice and comfortable and had every thing you needed. Lovely local pub about 5 minutes walk down the road Very peaceful surroundings and an ideal place to stay to get to Arundel, Chichester and other locals towns in the area. We definitely will be back.
Very convenient situation for visiting Chichester town centre on foot and the many local attractions are only a short distance by car. It was very useful to have "user tips" for the oven, dishwasher etc, as well as a week's worth (for our party of 3 adults) of tablets for said dishwasher, clear instructions for how to find the keys to get in, when to put rubbish out and much more. A real home from home. It was also lovely to find a bottle of wine and some crisps to greet us when we arrived.
We stayed with our kids and parents ranging from 8 to 75 years. The house and garden worked perfectly for everyone and the location was great for access to the beach
We stayed for one week in this wonderful and cosy cottage. Making some short trips to surrounding spots (Arundel, Brighton, Porsmouth), going for some walks in the beautiful landscape and just relaxed in the nice place - great!
Great house for a large family holiday. Well equipped. Superb location - less than 5 minutes to the fantastic beach (stony at high tide but large sandy beach as tide goes down) & less than 5 mins to the local well equipped shops and eateries.
