We all had a terrific time at Muckrach house as it is such a wonderful place. Decoration is fantastic, facilities outstanding and the beds were super comfortable. There were 6 children with us and they didn’t want to leave. All in all, we thoroughly the house.
We had the most wonderful stay at this beautiful cottage in Scotland. From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by the stunning views and peaceful surroundings. The lawn area was perfect for relaxing—we spent several evenings sitting outside with a glass of wine, soaking in the tranquility. It truly felt like a private escape, far from other houses and completely serene. One of the highlights was the incredible wildlife right in the garden! We spotted deer, buzzards, a pine marten, and even tiny shrews. Bryce kindly brought us a camera trap, and we were lucky enough to capture footage ...more
We had a special week at Drum Cottage. It is located remotely in a truly magical setting. The cottage was spotlessly clean on our arrival, beds are super comfy with crisp fresh linens, and fluffy towels. We saw red squirrels, buzzards, a red kite, and lots of birds in the garden. When we had a small issue, the housekeeper was very prompt to respond and it was resolved quickly which was excellent. I’d highly recommend a stay here, beautiful cottage, glorious setting with incredible views.
What a wonderful and comfy place to spend your holiday. The views and grounds are lovely. We have loved our time here and are already looking forward to our return for Christmas and the New Year. Even Storm Amy did not detract from our stay. The wonderful Donny and Andrea came to the rescue when we lost power and started the generator. Hey presto power and zero inconvenience. Brilliant. We must give a special shout out to Donny & Andrea they have been fantastic. Very welcoming, happy to have a chat and help out in any way to make our stay memorable. We used Speyside Kitchens who provided exce...more
Coorie Lodge is a lovely property in a great location. We enjoyed it's proximity to the cycle path and of course overlooking the golf course. Think it would be helpful to label the switches in the kitchen for ease.
Writing to say thank you. We had 15 adults and 16 kids (ages 3 to 10) and found Gulabin Lodge an excellent experience to have such a gathering. The house and grounds provide ample space for games for the children. The kitchen was well stocked. The firepit was a hit and captivated everyone. We were in easy reach of local walks. Nothing was a problem for Helen and Tim and they created a relaxed atmosphere for us to have a wonderful weekend.
We had a great week staying in Stables Cottage. It’s was a great location to see the ospreys at Boat Garten, tour Loch Ness and explore the Speyside glen and cairngorms - too much for a week!! Stables Cottage was a home from home for the 4 of us (my wife and I + our 2 “young adults”!) and is comfortable and well appointed. The rooms are cozy but not small and we had plenty of space for the 4 of us. The balconies upstairs are a lovely place to sit and look out on the surrounding pines - we even saw a goshawk and a red squirrel! The kitchen is cosy but the 4 of us cooked and ate several meals ...more
Great location and perfect place to stay in the Highlands. Spotlessly clean and perfectly decorated. We loved it and can’t wait to come back.
As always, a lovely stay at Beavercreek, weather was lovely and we had some lovely local walks. Aviemore is a favourite spot for us and we visit often, we wouldn’t stay anywhere else, it has to be Beavercreek, our happy place
Our 3rd visit to this house, beautiful location and house, stunning area, plenty to do or just sit and watch the wildlife
Had a great holiday in this beautiful house/location. The house was so well equipped for the number of people staying with all sorts of kitchen equipment for all the cooking. The beds were amazingly comfortable and the towels provided were top quality. Loved the garden space to relax and enjoy. It was a great safe space for our dogs also. Would thoroughly recommend staying here.
We had the most wonderful weekend staying in Suidhe lodge for a 40th birthday celebration, with family. The house was spacious, clean and had everything we needed. So many lovely walks on our doorstep and having the cosy little bar next door made it extra special. Will definitely be back. Great customer service when dealing with our requests.
The house is in a perfect location, walkable to Aviemore but close to Cairngorms, loch morlich and lots of other walks and trails. The house has the perfect layout for multi generation family break but is showing signs of age and was a little dusty in places. Great enclosed garden, perfect for the dogs and a lovely outlook.
Feshiebridge cottage is spacious and comfortable with a stunning ground floor open plan design. The area is very pretty and close to wonderful walking. We loved our week there and were sad to leave!
The garden cottage is absolutely wonderful- we booked it in conjunction with the larger Suidhe Lodge for our small family wedding, and all the guests that stayed in the cottage absolutely loved it. It’s lovely and open and spacious inside, and having its own hot tub and garden area is fantastic! We would recommend the cottage to anyone, and will likely book it again just for ourselves as a return visit.
Fabulous house with everything you would need. Owners were very helpful and lovely to deal with! Would stay again!
My family and I had the best time a 2 Queens. House ..Lovely house finished to an high standard with everything you need provided even robes for the hot tub and sauna , Would highly recommend:..great location just a short walk to loch Morlich…
Beautiful house in a beautiful area. Everything we needed. Would stay again in a heartbeat. Really enjoyed ourselves.
Heather Cottage was a fantastic house for our Spey region golf trip. Great base in a good location. House was comfortable. Well set up in terms of the kitchen. The hot tub was the star though.. really nice touch after a long day golfing and walking. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this accomodation.
A lovely house in a fabulous location. Very well equipped kitchen annd plenty of towels etc Ideal for walking and exploring the local area. House was nice and warm with plenty of hot water. Garden secure for children and dogs. So much to see and do in the area. Will definitely be back!
This was our second visit to Reindeer House since June. The property is very well equipped, comfortable and in a great location for lots of walks, loch visits and golf. We really relax here and the house is really homely and comfortable and the views are fabulous. We had sunny days and starry nights in the hot tub. The dog loved the garden and the birds on the feeders kept us entertained. Can recommend.
Had an absolutely amazing stay at The Neuk. The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. Was great fun having the hot tub and ping pong table and amazing having the hot tub on and ready for our arrival! The beds were extremely comfortable and we had everything we needed, was a great spacious house. The dealings with the company and owners was also very helpful, providing a speedy response to any queries had and being very accommodating. Overall a fantastic stay had at this wonderful property!
Stayed with my family (2 adults + 2 kids under 5 years old). Really confortable and clean. Everything worked well. Clear instructions. Excelent location. Fully equiped, including some dish soap, extra garbage bag. (Only didn't include extra toilet paper, salt/olive oil.) I would stay here again!! Fully recommend.
The house was well equipped and although off the a9 was vey quite. Had a lovely outlook out the and a Lovely walk into Main Street only 15/20 mins.
The house is wonderful, we enjoyed the space and the nature around the house. Any questions or requests (like an extra blanket for us Germans :D ) were answered promptly. For perfect cleanliness one could remove the spiderwebs/ old bugs from the windows/ clean the windows. But other than that, we were perfectly happy. I will gladly recommend the stay at Rivercroft to friends. We would love to come back one day.
It's an old cottage with plenty of character and nicely modernised, great location near the centre of the village with plenty of local walks and other places to visit only a short drive away. Local butchers and Cafe are both excellent. Good sized front garden for the dogs and decking for sitting outside when the weather's good.
We had a fabulous family week away at this idyllic house. Great location for access to the surrounding area and the beautiful walks in an around Aviemore and Boat of Garten. The house is secluded but a short drive from Aviemore and everything you may need. House is well stocked and has a super relaxing feel from the minute you walk in the door. We had great weather so got great use of the grounds and our dog loved the large area to explore! Would highly recommend this excellent property and the housekeeper who was very quick in responding to any queries that we had.
This is a lovely traditional cottage with ample living space and bedrooms for a family celebration. Very comfortable beds and the kitchen and bathrooms are modern and suitable for our needs. Bit disappointed that considering the cost there was no tea bags/coffee/pint of milk or a single dishwasher tablet or salt/pepper for example, these little things make a big difference on arrival. We have stayed in many self catering homes throughout Scotland and this is not the norm- remember to come fully equipped! Saying that I would recommend a stay, the outdoor deck was a great addition and we all enj...more
Another excellent stay with our family! A superb location & much valued privacy in this excellent lodge. Recent upgrades much appreciated and this is now an ideal place for a family (6 plus 1 dog) to stay. Away from a busy Aviemore but in an excellent location to enjoy the area - the scenery, wildlife and uncrowded & welcoming golf clubs. Only slight issue is the poor t.v. reception & wi-fi signal BUT this is a factor of the location, not the property AND should be taken as a positive - encouraging the non-use of mobile phones & i-pads!
We booked our stay as a treat for our honeymoon with our two young kids. Unfortunately due to a storm we were left with no electricity. While we understand that this is out with the control of the owners the running water is pumped by an electric pump and it meant that for the first nearly 24 hours we had no running water as well as electricity and as had to vacate the property for an entire day. When we reached out regarding this we feel we have been let down with no adequate resolution and ourselves out of pocket. As a result we would not recommend this property
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Black Grouse Lodge the house had everything to cater for all ages a trampoline, hot tub, a good variety of board games. The house was beautifully situated, the views with a morning coffee from the balcony were simply breathtaking! It was a short walk into Aviemore and a short drive to gorgeous walks. The kitchen was well equipped and everything was clean and well organised. We will definitely return!
We had a wonderful time in Langrick, the house is lovely and comfortable with so much space! Thanks a lot!
Lodge was as advertised. Asked for help to put on heating and electrician arrived within 30 mins. Fab
The lodge is amazing Lovely & cosy & the addition of endless wood for the stoves was really appreciated (many lodges only provide a bag) The bed is comfy, the lodge was clean & the outside space was absolutely superb (we were lucky with the weather) As for the location, it couldn't be any better. 5 minutes into the centre of Aviemore & walks on your doorstep on many of the trails going out towards Glenmore The quirky layout & items in the lodge made this place very special & I just know we will return We'd spent 7 nights touring Scotland in our campervan so the additional luxury of...more
We had a lovely holiday at 4 Pines Lodge. The house has lots of good things going for it and was good for our family getaway. There are a few maintenance and cleaning issues that we have advised GNL of. That said, the basics of bedrooms and bedding were clean, no complaints. Same with toilet showers and kitchen. Large lounge great for family gathering and there were plenty of logs for the fire. Whole house could do with a bit of a ‘refresh’ Garden area was great for kids and dog and we enjoyed the hot tub and fire pit.
The lodge on the surface is nice, cosy and welcoming, wouldn’t like to stay there in the summer as it gets very little natural sunlight, but for a winter or Autumn break it was totally fine.
While the pictures make it seem bigger then it is, I still enjoyed my stay there very much. Coming from Canada, it took a little getting used to. The stove ... HoB? was completely new to me. While the weather didn't co-operate too much, i did manage to sneak into the hot hot once, for a very relaxing time. The wood stove, while small, heats it up fast as well. My only complaint, was the shower/toilet. Not to say there's anything wrong with it, but being 6'1, 350lb, it was a tight fit for me. I would still stay there again though, in a heartbeat. It was a very good place to explore nort...more
A spacious and comfortable property, we enjoyed our time at Salmon Run Lodge. It’s in an excellent but peaceful location for exploring the surrounding area. Carrbridge itself is lovely with some great walks and attractions. A few minor niggles. The property wasn’t spotless. Dust, hair and sweet wrappers under furniture, dishes left in the dishwasher from the last guests and a freezer which leaked over the floor. The ‘guidebook’ is out date referencing things that are no longer available. Generally it could do with a tidy up, water stained floors, scuffed paint in most rooms, a lot of weeds gro...more
