Excellent location, very comfy cosy cottage big enough for two, has all the facilities you need. No complaints.
Everything about the cottage was perfect for us. Beautiful location, clean, comfortable. We could see the sunrise over the sea from bed! There is en-suite shower room not pictured in the description and so that was a nice surprise. The parking space allocated for the cottage was possible but a little tight for our large estate car, so we chose to pay for a week’s parking in the public car park, a slightly smaller car would be fine. Portscatho is a lovely base from which to explore the peninsula too.
Loved staying here. Lovely, very comfortable cottage & hosts. Thank you & we hope to return very soon!
Everything from the cottage to the location the garden and patio area were absolutely amazing and we had such a fantastic holiday The cottage had everything you needed and was very cosy and clean. We would happily return.
Sunnyside was a perfect stay for our holiday in Cornwall! Clean and perfect location with a walk to the beautiful carne beach!
Beautifully presented and equipped. Excellent location. Garden perfect for our small dogs. Very enjoyable stay- thank you.
Thr apartment was everything we had hoped for, well equipped, spacious and comfortable. The views out to sea were magnificent and the owners were friendly and helpful.
Heathfield was a perfect holiday home. Spotlessly clean and lots of comfortable chairs for the whole family. Added bonus 3 bathrooms which suited 6 people .A step free environment just right for anyone with a disability. . Everything was spotless- Dog loved the garden, it was a comfort to know it was secure. Parking for 4 or more cars another bonus. Location was ideal not far from Truro or Falmouth, Penzance just over an hour away. Only a short walk to the shops and harbour.. Would love to come back to Heathfield.
Very comfortable and clean cottage with everything we needed. We loved the view from the main bedroom and the bright, spacious living room. It is a very steep climb up from the village, but worth it to have the parking space and views!
What a wow property in St Mawes, perfect in every way. So spacious, with fantastic views from so many of the rooms. The location was amazing.
We have had the absolute best of times here. Our holidays are all about enjoying a fully relaxing holiday in the unique Cornish countryside and Little Crugsillick and it’s picturesque location never disappoints - it’s our fifth time enjoying the great facilities, the garden and the local beaches which we all love. Annie and Brian’s wonderfully kind hospitality is always a joy and very much appreciated. A perfect stay once again. Thank you
Fiddler's Green is a lovely house in a great location. It is easy walking distance to to the centre of St Mawes where there are pubs, shops and good restaurants. Ferries provide access to St Anthony's Head and Falmouth. The house is roomy, finished beautifully and has stunning views across the estuary. Each bedroom has access to a balcony and is both comfortable and well-finished. A real bonus is the parking. Our party consisted of 4 couples and the facilities were perfect. Thank you.
We had a wonderful week in Pennant. It was light and airy and the big plus was the view of the harbour and estuary. The books were interesting. The paintings and placemats were appreciated. A few improvements needed...we both hit our head on the air-extractor over the hob but you probably can’t remedy that. The shower was extremely slow to drain, the clothes washer was noisy, and there was no spare black bin bag to help us pack up, although the instructions said we should use the bags provided. But we would still choose to stay in the lovely apartment again if we have the opportunity.
This cottage has everything you need for a peaceful and relaxing holiday in a wonderful place. The garden is enclosed so safe for your dog and there are lots of great walks from the door. I’d say the cottage is rustic which means you can feel relaxed there with your pet. There is no welcome pack which was fine for us as we always bring our own supplies but worth a mention so others can bring their own milk etc. Nicky was great and made sure we were looked after especially when there was a Powercut which was out of their control. We’ll definitely go back!
No.1 is a great studio apartment, perfectly situated near the harbour in St Mawes and ideally positioned for exploring the Roseland Peninsula. The booking process was easy and the owner was extremely helpful I had a lovely last minute 5 day break there and look forward to returning again.
Good one bedroom flat to stay in, great location in a working boatyard. Would recommend it to stay at.
Lovely old world cottage: with really thick walls and windows, low ceilings and quirky floorbords - nice to be living in history. Parking in public car park easy and convenient. would have been useful to have washing up liquid (not everyone wants to use the dishwasher); and also cling film and tin foil. House reeked of air freshener all the time, despite opening windows wide. House could benefit from some deep carpet cleaning Bins outside front window made it difficult to park when arriving/leaving. It would have been useful to let us know where recycling material was held.
Good location parking outside door all equipment their that's required. Pub over road quite good , cafe good . Enjoyed my holiday their , especially good for dogs .
Great location , stunning views, walking , ferries to other places ,places to have coffee and eat and visit ,can get about with no car . 4 th time we’ve stayed here
Second time running at the Summer House with our stays getting longer every year. Very peaceful comfortable house with sea views. Everything you could wish for in St Mawes
St Anthony’s is a very comfortable cottage with a spacious and bright feel to it. Good outside area and easily accessible to village.
All round brilliant cottage, location and service. We have booked to return next year. Many thanks.
We were greeted most days by 2 little dogs aggressively barking at us at us every time we returned to the apartment as we came up the steps. The owners had no control over them. They also barked at everything that moved & went past the apartment! Also we have never stayed in a holiday let that had carpet in the kitchen as well as the 2 bathrooms. That is very un hygienic especially when you think about spills & leakages etc...Do you vax wash after every holiday maker has stayed ? Apart from that all good !
The parking is diabolical with no guarantee of a space outside the cottage. The path outside needs renovating as it is dangerous and the table and chairs need updating. The stairs are very steep, especially difficult to use with a heavy suitcase. The lighting is not very good for reading. Apart from that it was a delightful cottage right by the harbour and the weather was kind so we could enjoy touring the area.
Arrived to a clean kitchen and clean bathrooms. Nice to have a parking area. Sadly on arriving dog hair was ingrained on all carpets throughout and these carpets and door mats smelt. House manager Richard was phoned. He very promptly and helpfully cleaned the carpets. He replaced the useless dirty full up cylinder hoover with a clean Dyson. Beds mattresses very soft apart from the upstairs double bedroom mattresses. Fresh towels and bedlinen was supplied but only after requesting it for the 2nd week. The two sofas in lounge are old and in need of replacing as they were very dipped and uncomfo...more
A quaint cottage in a very quiet location, perfect for accessing the beautiful walks from the doorstep. A good open plan downstairs with the bonus of a private sunny patio garden. Level off-road parking. We would definitely like to return for another holiday in the future.
