.Stay at Tarporley is one of my favourite hotels to stay in around this area. This is my 2nd time here and definitely will be back. Trip to Cheshire Oaks, with a night here and an evening at the Swan before heading to The Hollies farm shop on my way home. Very easy communication and just lovely.
Excellent and friendly customer service. Fantastic location. Extraordinary house offering extraordinary volumes. Wonderful park and surroundings.
The room was cold , when we arrived. The shower room is dangerous due to the condensation on the walls. Puddles on the floor
We will be back, each time we visit you have up graded the lodges or the site to a very high standard. Can't fault anything it's a truly super place to visit with lots to do in the surrounding area.
As expected from such a company. Stunning renovation of Cathedral House. And exceptional service levels. Beautifully styled accommodation. Possibly the best equipped ‘holiday let’ kitchen I’ve been in. Beds seriously comfy. Really couldn’t be critical of anything. And I can be, if I deem it necessary. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this property to anyone.
The second year in a row we have had an excellent stay at the Hollies, Cairngorm Cottage. Beautiful cottage, furnished to a very high standard, with everything you need for a great stay, hot tub, log burner…. with our stay being in December the cottage had a beautiful Christmas tree in the lounge. There has been a beautiful new room and en suite added this year, increasing the bedrooms to 4, which gave everyone a bit more space. Great stay, will definitely re-book.
Had the most amazing time at Glenmore Lodge. Property is beautiful and has most of the amenities you need for a relaxing stay. Our sat nav did take us the wrong way down some dirt tracks so beware of that. I wished for snow and absolutely got it so much so despite the efforts of staff to clear the paths we couldn’t really get out on one day but it didn’t matter as we had food, drink and a fabulous log burner. Would love to come back in spring and see more of the sights. A few niggles from me were the outside lights stayed on all night as well as the green fire exit sign which was a bit a...more
We had the most amazing and comfortable time at the hollies highland lodges, specifically the speyside suite. I missed the part where it says that this accommodation didn’t have a hot tub so was disappointed but I wasnt bothered about a hot tub anyway, a real log fire would be nice instead of an electric one but the suite was very warm and cosy. Shower gel, soap, shampoo all included and well stocked. Appreciated that tea bags, coffee, sugar and milk was provided. The bed was massive and very comfortable, the living room area is also so cosy and appreciate having full access to the smart TV ap...more
This was our 2nd visit in 2 years and actually our 2nd time staying at the noble fir…. We visited this year for my partners 40th birthday and once again everything exceeded our expectations…. My 16 month old son even loved it this year and was excited with all the Christmas decorations. We are already looking at booking again for next November 2025. Thank you
We stayed in the Norway Spruce all that you could possibly need was provided. Seasonal decorations inside and outside of the Lodge were magical. The hot tub was an added bonus. The Farm Shops were an easy few minutes walk from the Lodges, where we found all the staff to be very pleasant and helpful. The food to eat in or take away was exceptional. We had a wonderful time and we will make another seasonal booking next year.
Although it's self check-in, I saw a couple of staff who were very welcoming. Everywhere is very well maintained and good artwork. Breakfast in the farm shop was very good and special thanks to Claire for taking such an interest in my visit to the area!
Such a wonderful mini break with our young family. Having the convenience of the shop on site was brilliant. Felt safe, relaxed and completely chilled out. The Christmas decor was lovely and everywhere felt luxurious. We will definitely be rebooking.
Always a pleasure to enjoy the luxury of a weekend end away from it all and the build up to Xmas Beautiful setting and the log fire makes it perfect. Hot tub relaxation in woodland setting . Peace and just the birds for company in the trees Clean and home from home Perks to have the cafe and shop on site with beautiful Hollies quality produce and local to The fox and Barrel for Sunday lunch if you don’t want to cook !
They did not notify us when booking that the take away was closed and the outdoor seating area was closed off as we had taken the dog you could not sit out for the week end So we was very disappointed we got there for 12 o’clock and wasn’t allowed in till 4 as there were no were to sit luckily it was dry other than that it was a very nice location
The room sits above the kitchen .At 7.00am the extract fan starts and is very noisy as it vibrates through the wall. It certainly woke both of us up.
