Wow! What a fabulous stay. The Stay on the High Street Tarporley exceeded our expectation. Beautifully decorated accommodation, with everything you could want in a great location. Wish we had been staying for more than one night! Highly recommend & will definitely be back.

We had a wonderful stay the Cathedral House in Dornoch. It was an incredible property, comfortable, extremely clean, a home away from home. And the proximity in this beautiful town was perfect!!
This was a short weekend stay. The cottage is superbly equipped from kitchen, bathroom, bedroom to garden. There was nothing missing. The hot tub was a welcome extra we hadn’t considered. A stay here is a great way to recharge….oh and don’t forget to say hello to Dougal and his mate the Heiland Coos!
We spent a fantastic family weekend in August 2024 at The Cairngorm Cottage which was stunning. There were 5 adults and 2 small dogs and there was ample room. The decor was lovely and modern but fitting with the surroundings. Everything was immaculately clean, with plenty of kitchen gadgets. The location was perfect too. Not too far from lovely walks and shops and restaurants. The weather was stunning too and the garden area had the sun from morning until night. We would highly recommend and hopefully we will return again.
great, thank you. The lodge we stayed in, Noble Fir was very comfortable and had all the amenities we needed to make our stay enjoyable. I would have no problem in recommending it.
I’m sure that you get lots of glowing reviews for the property, and well-deserved. The only thing that we would suggest is outdoor lighting by the door. I would suggest a rack of some sort in the loft to hang up clothes. Also the hot tub was stone Cold, I don’t know if there was a process to have it turned on, but nevertheless, it was unusable.
Although it's self check-in, I saw a couple of staff who were very welcoming. Everywhere is very well maintained and good artwork. Breakfast in the farm shop was very good and special thanks to Claire for taking such an interest in my visit to the area!
We booked a long weekend at The Hollies in Nordmann Fir. What a beautiful lodge! Beautiful furnishings, super comfy beds with lovely white bedding and loads of fluffy white towels. The kitchen was extremely well equipped, absolutely everything you could need. The log burner was lovely and the hot tub was perfect! Will definitely be staying again! Excellent customer service, everything was first class!
I have just stayed at The Hollies lodges in the Norway Spruce. I stayed with my disabled husband and the lodge had plenty of room for his wheelchair. The beds were huge with marshmallow mattresses. Crisp linen sheets and pillows. The kitchen was well stocked with dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and everything we needed. Only thing we didnt have was a pizza wheel cutter but we managed. The hot tub was perfect, set in a lawned private garden and was very peaceful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Grand Fir Lodge. It really is as big as it looks on the pictures. Very clean and comfortable and has everything in it you need. Buy some matches if you want to use the BBQ. Farm shop Fillet Steak was the best I’ve had. Had a take away food box from the cafe too, staff very welcoming and friendly. Hot tub clean and very private. The on site gift shops are lovely, we bought some Arran fragrance items after smelling them in our lodge, gorgeous. Loads of places to go & see. What an amazing little gem of a retreat .Everything was faultless from the lodge facilities to customer service team.In particular Briony resolved an issue promptly and to full satisfaction. Our girly getaway was so relaxing we have booked a return stay!!!! Can not sing the praises for all the team enough…thank you so much
