We have been to the hollies a few times, but never at Christmas until this time, the setting outside was stunning, lights entwined around trees and bushes. Inside the Scot’s pine was just as beautiful with a tree and festive lights around the fireplace. The farm shop and shops were just as festive and magical with lights and music playing. We really enjoyed a relaxing time here over Christmas. Well done team hollies on creating such a beautiful setting at Christmas time.
From start to finish, the experience of hosting our wedding and guests at Muckrach was perfect. We wanted a small intimate occasion with close family and friends and Muckrach gave us the luxurious surroundings to achieve this, and enjoy! The house is spotlessly clean and the ground floor flows through different rooms providing plenty space for everyone to be together in a beautiful old building with a mix of traditional and modern. Stunning, just stunning. An excellent lodge in an excellent location (though you do need a car if you want to explore the area) Superbly maintained by onsite team. Have already booked for next year and can’t wait to go back. The hot tub is superb!!
Outstanding quality in the Cottage, the location is idyllic, quiet, relaxing, just what was needed before the wedding.

From the initial contact for booking, to leaving, everything was first class! Superb location with everything to hand and an unrivalled Farm Shop to tempt all. Despite the Shop being extremely busy, it was so peaceful in and around the Lodge, and the Hot Tub was perfect. Already planning the next trip!
A wonderful couple of nights at The Stay, immaculate room, very comfortable & plenty of space in the room. Ideal location for all our requirements. The staff were very friendly & helpful, would highly recommend & hope to return again soon. Thanks to Andy regarding the booking, very helpful.

Room was lovely, large and comfortable. Only problem was the en-suite was freezing, could not use the shower as room was to cold even with towel rail was on full. Had to have wash in the morning with a jumper on. Could do with large radiator in en-suite, which we reported to the manageress, who said she will get right on to it. Apart from this staff were very helpful and pleasant.Would come back again when heating fixed.
3rd time staying here. Great Christmas vibes, tree in lodge and outside decorated very festive. Shopping first class, especially the butchery. Friendly staff even when busy. Lodge facilities as described and excellent hot tub to unwind in. Until the next time!
Perfect setting and facilities We have been visiting here and the local area for many years at Christmas and other times Roaring log fire, beautiful tree dressed for Christmas and immaculate accommodation Easy check in and booking process straight forward and good communication
Our 2 year old granddaughter called it our Christmas house the lights and tree made it special for her, we had relaxing family time, excellent food from the farm shop and great wine to sit and watch strictly - even a dip in the hot tub after a good walk, thank you to all involved
A home to home experience. No issues whatsoever. The lodge was comfortable, clean and really well equippped. The hut tub was ready to use. Food from the Hollies Farm Shop was fresh and delicious. The site was picturesque looked great for autumn and Halloween. A perfect stay!.
