Entry is keyless which initially brought concern, but need not have had any worries as worked perfectly. Room was outstanding with the interior design, scent, space, bathroom was 5* plus. We’ve stayed in many places and is up there with the best. Absolutely would recommend, and we will return.
Wow! What a fabulous stay. The Stay on the High Street Tarporley exceeded our expectation. Beautifully decorated accommodation, with everything you could want in a great location. Wish we had been staying for more than one night! Highly recommend & will definitely be back.
We had an absolutely marvellous family holiday at Cathedral House with our 2 dogs. The house is in a fantastic location in the middle of the town, and was superbly well presented following it's 5 star refurbishment. The Hollies are really on top of their game and are great to deal with. We loved it so much that we've booked again for next year! Enjoy yourselves.....it will be difficult not to!!
Fabulous!!!! Loved everything. Very spacious property. Lovely scenery. Lots to do round about. Aviemore is great. We went to visit alpacas. Very enjoyable.
We've stayed at the main house on this property, but as we were a smaller group this time we stayed in one of the lodges. As usual the service was great and the space was perfect for our group (4 adults and 2 kids). Location is convenient for nature, wildlife and whisky. A few local restaurants plus we have used an incredible private chef a few times. Highly recommend this property.
This is not the first time we have stayed at Hollies Retreats at Muckrach, but it is the first time in The Cairngorm. This is a beautiful property which is superbly presented and could not be faulted.
It was nice and clean and quite definitely would stay again . Shop was a little bit expensive.nice to have a base to explore .
Booked 2 rooms in "Stay on the Hight Street" for 2 nights at short notice, came up from London for a family wedding. The rooms are lovely and modern, brilliant bathroom/shower and no issues with entry or departure, all very straight forward.Really nice village with a few shops. You can get Breakfast downstairs in their farm shop which is top quality, although a little pricey. Parking to the rear and can park on High Street if need be. Would definitely recommend and expect to return in future.
I have just stayed at The Hollies lodges in the Norway Spruce. I stayed with my disabled husband and the lodge had plenty of room for his wheelchair. The beds were huge with marshmallow mattresses. Crisp linen sheets and pillows. The kitchen was well stocked with dishwasher, washing machine, coffee machine and everything we needed. Only thing we didnt have was a pizza wheel cutter but we managed. The hot tub was perfect, set in a lawned private garden and was very peaceful. We spent 5 days at the resort and had a great time. The lodge has all the things we needed and was set out perfectly. The lodge was really clean and comfortable and the outside area was lovely to sit in. We only had one downside when we Were there which was a WiFi outage. Whilst that’s perfectly understandable and these things happen we felt the customer service could have been better particularly communication. The lodge had limited phone signal so we heavily relied on the WiFi and when it went down we had to walk off site to be able to make a call to report it and stay there to await a ...more
Stayed her the evening before a wedding at Peckforton Castle. It was beautiful, the beds were comfortable and bedding so crisp & fresh. Xx
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in The Grand Fir Lodge. It really is as big as it looks on the pictures. Very clean and comfortable and has everything in it you need. Buy some matches if you want to use the BBQ. Farm shop Fillet Steak was the best I’ve had. Had a take away food box from the cafe too, staff very welcoming and friendly. Hot tub clean and very private. The on site gift shops are lovely, we bought some Arran fragrance items after smelling them in our lodge, gorgeous. Loads of places to go & see. Lodge was amazing, clean and well presented. Decor is fabulous. Hot tub perfect temp all the time. Thank you for a lovely stay.
