As a family with a disabled family member funding somewhere to meet all needs is hard especially in our favourite place to holiday ie North Wales. The upper floor of hendy ticked most boxes and solutions were found to small issues. It is a lovely quiet place especially in the evenings and weekends and in quiet still moments you can hear the sea in the distance. One family member had a power chair and it was not up to the job of going around the acres around us being mostly grassy but that was the chairs fault. The pandemic restrictions meant that the pancake house and many of the features I...more
We loved this venue - such a beautiful site. We booked the whole site for a family reunion and the owner couldn't have been more helpful with the details. Lovely for walks on the beach - definitely recommend the ice cream at the nearest cafe. Interesting places around to visit.
We had such a good time at Eisteddfa. Beautiful house, stunning location and plenty of good food places nearby. Very friendly and helpful owner and special thanks to Coastal Holidays who pulled out all the stops to make our holiday possible. Would love to go back. Highly recommended.
Very nice stay Helpful landlady Really relaxing Nice scenery Happy to go back again Lots to explore
Well, what can i say!! What a property and what a family holiday we had at Angorfa. The property itself is very well presented, it was spotlessly clean on arrival, the downstairs kitchen/diner area is very conducive to family time and conversation whilst preparing meals. The kitchen appliance inventory was the best i've seen for self-catering accommodation, great attention to detail here. We were fortunate with the weather so absolutely maximized both the downstairs outdoor eating area and upstairs balcony, that had such incredible views. Great to enjoy 4 rooms all with en-suite which made e...more
The Apartment met all our expectations. Check-in Simple & no fuss Hosts - Extremely welcoming & friendly Cleanliness - Excellent Facilities & equipment - Everything we required Location - Ideal.
The cottage was spotless and was very comfortable. The location was just perfect for Anglesey and Eryri National park; as well as for lovely walks directly from the cottage. Thank you to the hosts too who were so friendly and welcoming. We look forward to coming back!
Managed to book a last minute short stay at Cryd y Nant through Coastal Holidays. The booking process and property access information was excellent with the property being situated in a wonderfully quiet spot at the end of a cul-de-sac at the side of fields. The property is not much more than a five minute walk from the High Street, the beach and The Oyster Catcher - there are a good choice of restaurants in Rhosneigr - Mojo's, The Oyster Catcher, Sandy Mount and Mezze 40 being our preferred choices. There are also good fish and chip and pizza take away options, and an Indian Restaurant which...more
Good accommodation for extended family. Four single bedrooms for the four grandchildren so no arguing about bed or room sharing. Rest separate annex for grandparents. Good location for shops and beaches.
Excellent host communication and directions. A very peaceful and well located farmhouse where you feel instantly at home. Much more spacious than the pictures show. Lovely gardens and beautiful views. Very clean and comfy bedrooms, soft towels. Plenty of space for 8 adults and a dog to spread out in Gwlgri. Very well equipped kitchen and easy to use range cooker. Spotless fridge. Highly recommended!
The house is superb. We were a 3 generation party of 15 celebrating a 60th birthday and New Year. The bedrooms are beautifully decorated and comfortable and mainly ensuite. The upstairs lounge and kitchen/dining room easily accommodated us all. The house is in a fairly remote location but we had everything we needed for the weekend delivered by asda. Any last minute items were easily accessible by car from the Tesco express in Benllech. The local area provided lots of walks along the beaches and coastal paths. Michelle the owner was lovely and friendly. We would definitely recommend it and wo...more
everything was fine. Beautiful cottage in a lovely area. Just bad luck with the weather. We had good walks all over Anglesey.
Stunning sea views from this great holiday house! The Wales coastal path runs the other side of the garden wall so lots of walkers going past who can look right in but the views from the first floor sitting room more than make up for that. 10 minutes walk to a shingle beach which you will probably have all to yourself, or choose from little beach or big beach close to the village. Cemaes bay is tiny so limited shopping and eating out but there is a small Morrisons Daily, a chippie (cash only), pizza at the beach shack and a couple of pubs. If you want a quiet holiday, this is a lovely house wi...more
lovely cottage throughout , We are big bird watchers and nature people,so this cottage ticked a lot of boxes for us , waders on the estuary and the red squirrels in the Forrest just down the road ,the cottage was clean and the cutlery draws were so tidy it has to be mentioned , the garden was a really nice retreat for the couple of nights we had the weather for it , cost wise I did find this really good value for money and will try and book this cottage in future years
Good location. ................................................................................... ,......................................................
Our party of five adults enjoyed a 7 night stay at Coach House Faner. The owner greeted us on arrival and showed us around the accommodation and pointed out the accessible features as one of our party had restricted mobility. We felt relaxed from the start in the very well-equipped space and particularly enjoyed watching the birds and the outlook over the garden. There is so much to do on Anglesey and in the surrounding area. I'm sure we will return again soon.
Our fifth annual holiday at Eirianfa, We find this holiday home very well positioned to enjoy both Anglesey and Snowdonia, we have experienced the changes the owners have made to Eirianfa over the years which have enhanced our enjoyment staying here…outside separate eating/BBQ area, extension to ground level twin room, being two of them, we are looking forward to our next stay.
A very clean, warm, spacious, well equipped bungalow in the most picturesque location with stunning sea views. There are two lovely beaches within a few minutes walk and also The White Eagle pub and The Deck House Restaurant are close by. We enjoyed a most relaxing week in this Special holiday home.
We had our third stay in this property - beautiful location - beautiful house - there is nothing you could ask for that isn't provided - we will back for a fourth visit - can't recommend it highly enough
Great property for large families and teams working in the ares Owners have been very kind and helpful can't recommend enough
What an amazing week away during these surreal times! Spring Cottage was amazing , Ideal location away from the hustle and bustle of life! All the best beaches within half hour away! The cottage was spotless, had everything in it for self catering . More than enough space inside.Very comfy Beds and bathrooms! Felt very safe and relaxed . Outside was WOW !! One of the best self catering accommodations we have ever stayed in. We will return .
We are four mature ladies with specific accommodation needs. This was wonderful, all ground floor and looked like no one had ever stayed before it was so clean and very spacious. A couple of problems but property quite new and I'm sure they will be sorted out. A great place to stay and we will be definitely be back in 2018.
Don’t really want to be at all negative about this property , overall we had a brilliant holiday here and everyone in our party loved it.The property looks small outside but it’s like the tardis inside, plenty of space for all 8 of us, and the games room was great for keeping the teenagers occupied in the evening and damp days. It’s well equipped and the welcome pack was excellent and a lovely touch,as was the little mini toiletries. The only fault was the beds, think the mattresses could do with replacing, ours was so soft we rolled to the middle and our daughter said her single bed was too s...more
Spindrift has one of the most stunning positions for views and you can literally walk straight onto the coastal path. Waking up to sea views from the main double bedroom, to taking a shower with views over llanbadrig church. The accommodation itself is sufficient with lots of places to sit and relax, I barely moved from the panoramic window overlooking the Irish Sea, absolutely superb!! To me as a someone with mobility issues a walk in shower and grab rails would be helpful…
This was our second stay at this property. Very well kept with everything you need. Great central location. Comfy bed. Clean and tidy. Lovely garden area.
Great place to stay. So easy to walk to the beach, the shops and restaurants. A good kitchen with all appliances, and comfortable bed with two bathrooms, all very clean. There were only two of us and it was roomy for us but the dining and sitting area would be a bit cramped if 6 were staying.
Comfortable bungalow with a good size garden. Lovely walk down to a beautiful beach and very nice beach cafe. Fortunately Spa shop very close as necessities not provided, ie no soap, toilet rolls, washing up liquid, milk etc.
Me, my partner and our dog spent two weeks at Dinmor in early September. The Owner is next door, and lovely, but leaves you to it, but you are welcome to pop up to the main house if you need anything. The chalet is bigger than it looked in the photo, and suited us well. Its very clean and tidy and clearly looked after. Its pin drop quiet at night as there is nothing but single track road nearby and the sea. It has a veranda which was nice to sit out on on warm evenings. Location wise their is so much to do - Anglesey has some beautiful and not to busy beaches, and the north wales cost is 20 mi...more
This apartment has it all. Stunning views from most rooms and a lovely balcony for sunny days. The apartment is really well equipped and super comfortable. An excellent log burner for cosy nights in. The location is perfect as a base for exploring this amazing part of the world. Really great communication with David and Gary at coastal cottages. Also thanks to Nigel the owner. We love this place so much, we've just booked again for March.
We had a fabulous stay in this lovely lodge. It was well equipped, warm and felt like home from home . The location is well placed for loads of lovely beaches and it was so quiet! Would highly recommend and we can’t wait to re book!
Great location with amenities close by. Apartment very comfortable and clean. Shame balcony at the front as it doesn’t get the afternoon sun but there’s always the beach close by.
We stayed at 40 Church Street Aberffraw for New Year's. The house was well presented, clean and comfortable with everything you may need for an enjoyable stay. Unfortunately we did have a few niggles during our stay. The ensuite shower did not have hot water. The owner struggled to get a plumber over the holidays. The gate bolt was rusted and would not lock shut. The dishwasher was also not working correctly.
This three bed bungalow provides easy walking access to the beach, a cafe, a pub and an outstanding art gallery. The bungalow was spotless and we had everything we needed. Towels and linens were immaculate. The kitchen had everything we needed to be able to cook. It was a great holiday and we were very pleased.
Wonderful to look out to sea .The houseneeds some work done as does the garden. The step from the lounge to conservatory is dangerous as it is made of paving stones. The shed for wet suits needs much work as does the outside of it.bedrooms very comfortable. To many steps.
We loved our stay at Cable Cottage, the location was wonderful, right on a very quiet beach and the Anglesey coastal path. We were at the cottage during storm Debi and enjoyed watching the large breaking waves from the lounge window in the quiet and warmth of the cottage. All the facilities at the cottage superb, and we loved being there, we meant to eat out some nights but decided to cook in the great kitchen and spend our time enjoying the cottage. Would not hesitate to recommend this cottage to anyone. Thanks for letting us share it.
had a lovely stay here the views at the back was really beautiful.the place was kept nice and had comfortable beds everything you need really and a good location hopefully will be back soon
The above boxes speak for them selves! It is our equal first, by a long way. ………………………… ………………………..
The house is huge and really well suited to our extended family of 6 adults and three children (aged 15, 5 and 2) plus two dogs. The kitchen is extremely well stocked with utensils etc. Instructions on how to use the washing machine would have been helpful as would a comprehensive ‘guide to the house’. The hot tub was a hit and well used. The outside area is small and a couple of more comfortable chairs or loungers would have been welcome but we spent most of our time out and about so not a big issue. We got used to having find space for our cars (4 between us) and could always find a free...more
We had the whole fort to ourselves when we stayed. Loved the remote location right on the beach. Very quiet and very comfortable cottage. Will certainly book again.
Beautiful house in fantastic location, unique property, hot tub fantastic. Great access to beaches and the rest of the island. Brilliant maintenance man who is available if you have any issues, also a font of knowledge about the History of the place. All had a fantastic holiday.
The location of the fort is stunning! It was peaceful and everything we needed for a Covid free getaway. We booked after our holiday abroad was cancelled and were thrilled to find somewhere to meet our needs and at a good price. The fort itself has so much character and was the perfect setting for a holiday . The layout of our cottage was good and gave our large family enough space . There was enough cooking equipment for cooking there everyday. However, the cottage is in need of decorating and a more thorough deep clean. For example ,the bath was badly stained and the washroom had no fl...more
We stayed in a cottage in Fort Belan for a week with a family of 4 (58, 54, 20 and 15 years old). We are campers but our experience with the weather in Wales made us book a cottage for our stay. It served our purpose very well. The surroundings were magnificent. The fort is made into cottages in a very nice way, with a good eye for detail. The housekeeper and the manager were available if you wanted to ask something and easy to talk to. We could see the struggle to keep everything in order. You could see the age of the place coming through. We think it's a big adventure and a lot of work to k...more
Great location, very friendly team, good accommodation and kitchen well equipped. Needs new beds, other than that we were more than happy with everything
We had a wonderful week in Fort Belan. We stayed in Dock Cottage - a very quiet, private and peaceful location. The cottage is comfortable and well equipped and the views from every window are stunning. The kitchen has everything needed to cook meals (although the cooker takes a while to warm up - I am used to gas and a fan assisted oven). The bathroom is newly fitted. You can sit outside with a glass of wine or a cuppa and soak up the wonderful views The decor needs some updating, the double bed wasn't very comfortable and the rug in the lounge definitely needs to be replaced. However, t...more
Lovely location and well equipped, it’s just a shame that the decor and bathrooms were all tired and in need of redecorating/new installing (in particular the downstairs en-suite really needed the ventilation addressing as it smelt decidedly damp). The 5 star rating that the cottage advertises itself with online was misleading as the 5 star classification certificate displayed in the cottage was dated 2013. Overall the cottage could have done with a thorough deep clean too.
Great location with lovely views of the mountain, excellent for a wind down in the thoughtful position of the hot tub. The accommodation itself had the basics needed but the decor needs a little upgrade and some TLC. Mat in lounge is very dated & worn and windows & door needs double glazing as condensation is a big issue. Host very friendly and helpful.
We were a 3 generation family of 14 with grandchildren 5-12 yrs. It suited us very well, especially the large dining/kitchen, equipped well for a large party. We visited 5 lovely different beaches, enjoyed coastal walks (3 lighthouses) and visited Beaumaris Castle & Plas Newydd - a superb variety (we had wonderful weather!) For want of criticism we would suggest the provision of oven gloves and cleaning materials.
We arrived on a Saturday to a great view but upon entering immediately noticed the property hadn’t been cleaned properly. The floors were dirty around the edges, food crumbs were left under the table and hair in the shower. The table itself still had crumbs on it near the back were someone hadn’t bothered leaning over to wipe it. The bed side tables were filthy with bits all over them - again where someone hadn’t taken the time to move things and wipe properly. Unfortunately worse was to come because although the beds had been made, upon lifting the duvet we found bits on the sheets. The sheet...more
