Kirkennan Lodge is the perfect cottage, offering seclusion with a secure garden so our dogs could enjoy the sunshine and outside space. If you favour a walking break, you will be spoilt for choice between the coast, the woodlands and forests, and the hills, moors and mountains. The host, Jenny is very helpful and paid us a quick visit to ensure we had everything we needed, although the Lodge is well appointed and we lacked for nothing. My wife and I were pleased to have the opportunity to stay at Kirkennan as it is such a special place. The grounds comprise meadows, riverbank, woods, a walled garden, and all pretty much on the flat, which suits my wife well as she has mobility difficulties. We found the cottage cosy and well equipped, and Jenny, our host, was most helpful. We hope to return!
