We had a great stay over New year at this property. It was tastefully decorated and had ample hot water and was very warm .Check in details were great and easy to understand and hosts communication was fantastic. Highly recommended
Stayed over half term with my children 8 and 11 and my Dad. Easy to find and instructions were great. Apartment was just as described. It was lovely and warm and clean and tidy with spare towels. It’s a good 20 minute walk into York which is well lit with good pavements. We also got the bus in sometimes which was a minutes walk from the apartment. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

We had a really lovely stay at Charms at CityGate. The check-in process was really smooth and we parked locally. The apartment itself was well-equipped and had everything we needed, including a travel cot for our baby, which we requested on booking. There’s an on-site gym which is a great bonus, although we didn’t have chance to use it. The location is perfect. It took 10 minutes to walk into the city centre and the ASDA and Costa just over the road was really convenient. Overall, a wonderful stay in a great location and we’d happily come back again!

absolutely excellent stay here. Great proximity to city centre but still quiet and private. The host is very responsive and the instructions to find/get in the apartment were clear and concise. Unfortunately the WiFi was down during our stay but the host made me aware of this beforehand and reimbursed me for the public paid WiFi instantly upon check out. overall a 5* star stay and I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for somewhere great to stay in york.

Lovely, very stylish apartment. Location is very good, 5 mins walk from the railway station and 10 mins walk into the centre. All the basic items needed were available. Will definitely be staying there again and will suggest it to others. Thank you for the experience

Very good apartment, a short walk from the centre of York. Everything we needed for our stay, comfortable beds and a good shower with toiletries. The kitchen had a supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk in sachets which was very useful. Overall very pleased with the accommodation.
Very nice property with parking. Clean and warm we had a great stay for a festive break. Check in was very easy with the detailed instructions that were sent prior to arrival and very responsive hosts.
We have been to many lodges but this has got to be the best one we have stayed at, newly refurbished and my god you can sure tell… we loved every minute of our stay, inside was very cosy and had everything we needed. The hot tub was perfect and red hot for all of our weeks stay. We enjoyed watching and listening to the wildlife whilst sat on the swing in the day and at night. We wouldn’t hesitate on coming back to this lodge site.
Fabulous apartment, close to the city centre and within walking distance of all shops and exhibits. WE thoroughly enjoyed our stay here and will definitely return in the future. The apartment was clean, contemporary and comfortable!

The Airbnb was in a perfect spot in York. Everything was in walking distance, very clean and tidy apartment couldn’t have been better for the price. E.g. the bed was the most comfiest bed we’ve ever stayed in!!!
Me and my partner had a lovely stay at the Blackthorn lodge. The lodge itself was absolutely beautiful, and the outside facilities was amazing! Will definitely be staying there again for sure!

We stayed here for three nights during the Viking Festival and had a wonderful experience. The apartment was spotless on arrival and equipped with all the amenities we needed for a comfortable stay. The central heating kept us warm throughout, and the kitchen had everything required. The location was ideal—just a short walk to the city centre and plenty of great restaurants. The free parking was a huge bonus, and the WiFi worked perfectly during our stay. Beds were very comfy, and we slept well. Highly recommended!

This place is beautiful, set in a secluded spot which offers so much peace and quiet! It really is such a lovely find. The house is designed perfectly and has a quaint and luxurious feel to it. The perfect country house! The games room is an absolute hit and we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. Will be reccomending to all our friends and family.
Lovely place, nice and secluded spot but close enough to get to town easily. Really close to the racecourse so perfect if you have dogs or young kids! Apartment was really clean and comfortable and we really enjoyed our stay here. Will definitely come back in the future. Thanks

tayed at Cedar Lodge recently and honestly had such a nice time. It’s in a really peaceful spot not too far from York, so you get that quiet countryside feel but you’re still close enough to pop into the city. The lodge itself was really cosy and clean, and it had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. The surroundings are lovely as well – perfect if you just want to relax for a couple of days. Lovely place to stay, great location, chose this place as we’ve stayed here before and couldn’t fault it. Is a great sized apartment, central to all things York. It was very close to the centre , warm and very clean. Parking was not included but next to Monkbar carpark

I booked this place because it was convenient both for the city centre (about 15 minutes’ walk) and my daughter’s student accommodation. It provided comfort and convenience and had everything we needed. The only issue was that there was no easy way to flag that although we were a party of two adults, one of those was my son and so we would ideally have had one of the two sofa beds made up on arrival, or at least had spare bedding more easily accessible. Stayed for two nights at bootham luxury apartments. Beautifully decorated and only a short walk to the shambles. Only issue we had was the shower was a bit dribbly and then made the floor quite wet. And also couldn't get apps on the tv to work as it kept buffering. But other than that everything was perfect. Would stay again.
We stay in this property 4 times or more a year ,it’s a great size flat and in great location with parking ,amendments to the heating are much an improvement,the team at York boutique are very friendly and helpful will continue to use this apartment as long as its available. My wife has a life long illness so this apartment offers her home from home comforts .
Great city centre location with parking. Property was as shown on pictures and had plenty of amenities although could of used a few more spare toilet rolls for our stay with 5 occupants. We requested an early check in the evening before as per instructions as dependent on the previous booking and were told we could check in from 12, no charge which was great. Clear instructions sent about how to find the property/parking and how to self check in/out. Overall great experience would stay here again.

Having made a late booking we were delighted with the fast response from the host, Claire. The accommodation was clean, tidy and cosy on arrival. It was well equipped and spacious. We stayed for 4 nights and had dinner in the local pubs, all of which were friendly and great food. Our accommodation was handy to York, so great for getting around. We will be returning again in April and have booked to stay again with York Boutique Lets. Both Claire and Jo were exceptionally helpful.

We travelled as as a party of 4, 2 mums with kids for 3 nights during half term. The property was ideally located for walking to all the York sights - and we easily walked to and from the train station with a wheelie bag. The apartment felt really secure and had every amenity you’d need for cooking should you wish to. Loads of restaurants within walking distance. Great value for money and perfect for putting the kids to bed and being able to sit and chill with a glass of wine. Great communication with the hosts, have already recommended York Boutique Lets to friends.

Absolutely amazing stay - the hot tub was great and the outside area with pool table/darts board and fire pit was amazing! The beds were so comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. Hosts were great! 10/10!!

Me and my husband stayed one night as a last minute getaway to York. The host was lovely - very friendly and polite, responsive and informative. The location was great. About a 10 minute walk into the city center. The actual apartment block is located within a quiet residential estate with secure parking. The apartment itself was spotless! Very clean and fresh. The furnishings were on trend and interior design was perfect. Modern appliances and smart TV make all the difference.
