The location was perfect for us, not too central that you have too much noise from town folk but central enough for great access to local restaurants, shops and transport. Staff were super helpful and accommodating, would definitely recommend and return! x

We had a wonderful 5 day break visiting York. The apartment was very comfortable and is well located with easy access to the city centre either by bus or a very pleasant 20 min walk along the river. Parking was ease, and the apartment was quiet and warm. The accommodation was very much as described and the facilities were perfectly adequate for our stay. There is plenty to do in York to fill 3-4 days without needing to venture further afield. We very much enjoyed our stay and we would certainly have no hesitation to stay here again in the future.
We spent 3 nights in this flat which accommodated our family of one couple and two adults easily. The flat is well maintained, and provides for a very comfortable stay. The only comment would be that the oven was not very clean on our arrival.

Well placed property, ideal location for exploring York and a minutes walk from station if you are travelling by York! Very much ideal. Lovely decor, well thought out. Comfortable and well equipped. Ideal property for a short stay in York, if you are lone traveller or a couple!
What a gorgeous apartment, very well appointed. Very comfortable beds. Sofas very comfortable for a leisurely tv session. Well located, close enough to walk to from the station and also to walk into town. Cafe at the end of the road for breakfast or a short walk along to loads more. Flat was easy to find, parking just round the corner. Flat was clean and tidy. Great location, super central, perfect walking distance to anywhere in town centre. Host was really helpful and quick responses. Will definitely return on our next trip to York.
This was an outstanding property - very luxurious and all rooms fitted out to a high standard. The location couldn't have been better, easy to walk into city but with private parking. Comfortable big beds meant good nights' sleep and we would definitely recommend.

Very good apartment, a short walk from the centre of York. Everything we needed for our stay, comfortable beds and a good shower with toiletries. The kitchen had a supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk in sachets which was very useful. Overall very pleased with the accommodation.
Great location, very clean, very warm and were responsive whenever needed. Stairs may be a challenge for disabled visitors for anyone with access needs. Didn't affect our stay at all though.
Great stay , clean and very comfortable and on a fantastic bus route into the centre. Check in was very simple and the property had a parking space. Highly recommend

We had a lovely stay in the property, which was a perfect space for us to catch up with family. The place was surprisingly spacious and generally well-equipped. The location is amazing and we very much enjoyed taking our niece to the local park and walking into the city to enjoy a day out.
Wonderful place! We were a group of five and had plenty of space. Nice location with a 5 min walk to restaurants, pubs etc. Also easy access to the bus that took us to the University. 16Fishergate has everything you need. It really lived up to our expectations. We would love to come back!

This place exceeded all of our expectations in all honesty, it was beautiful inside and out. So well layed out and was perfect for me and my partner. Everything we needed was very friendly, the staff were so incredibly helpful which made the experience positive from the start. The lodge was immaculate. We really couldn't find a fault.

Lovely little apartment, ideal location just minutes from York City Centre with a Sainsburys on the corner. Parking provided was ideal. Flexible check in times with self check in process made it easy and the option for a late checkout was great and well worth the extra cost. We had a great stay and would return without hesitation.
A fantastic apartment in a great location and all attractions & places of interest within easy walking distance. The apartment had everything you could need for a holiday let, good quality appliances and kitchenware and plenty of it and tea and coffee supplied by the host's, which we felt was a nice touch. The hosts were friendly & always available to answer any queries or give recommendations, we felt at home here and always felt safe. We would definitely recommend this apartment, it is a short walk from the railway station and we would use it again if we were ever to visit York again.
Me and my friends had a great stay at Creamery Cottage. Fantastic space to get away with friends with lots of space to hang out, catch up and play games. Only issue is that it’s a little tricky to find with the location given on Airbnb, putting it into maps will only take you to the main road near the cottage. Fortunately the hosts are very responsive and were on hand to give more detailed instructions.
This was a very clean appartment in the very centre of York with quick access to all the restaurants and sights on offer.
We really enjoyed staying here . Beds comfortable, great shower and kitchen was clean and had everything we needed including washing machine. Bus stops right out the front door and was perfect for catching a bus into town. Location was great for a drive to get up into the moors, Howard’s castle and Whitby. We would definitely stay here again. We ate an amazing meal at a tiny Sri Lankan restaurant within walking distance and had great burgers at the pub.
We love staying in York during Ghost Week. After staying at the same location for the last few years we decided to look for a 3 bedroom place this year. The apartment is 5-10 minutes walk away from the Minster and most of the other York attractions in the town centre. Communication with the owners in advance of our trip was great. We found a parking place in the council car park (which was included with the apartment) just across the main road from the apartment. We stayed in York for two nights as our son was running the marathon. Knavesmire Mews was a reasonably central location and a twenty minute walk to the centre. It was a decent size for four adults with a room each and one bedroom with an en-suite, however we did not spend much time relaxing in the house as it was a busy weekend. It was clean and tidy although there was a lingering smell of fried food in the kitchen. There were a few small issues however. Great apartment in the town centre, we loved staying here because we were clsoe to everything we could possibly need. Aaprmtnet was easy to find and instructions were clear! We settled in nicely and despite the openness of the apartment it felt very cosy. Great communication with office staff! Can't wait to come back <3

Stayed here for a week in October, bottom floor flat . Plenty of parking in Monks Bar carpark, even though it is very close it is expensive but that is down to York council not owners of the apartment . Apartment very clean and tidy, bed comfortable and I had a good night sleep every night. Not far from the centre, 10 minutes walking, and the shops/ restaurants. Less than 5 minutes to get up on to the wall and have a walk around. This is my 4th stay and will be back again.
This place is fabulous! Country house feels, stocked with everything imaginable! The outdoor space is incredible, would love to come back in the summertime to take full advantage of it! House is finished to the highest standard and for such a large property it has a really cosy feel. We would 10000% come back.

Great city centre location with parking. Property was as shown on pictures and had plenty of amenities although could of used a few more spare toilet rolls for our stay with 5 occupants. We requested an early check in the evening before as per instructions as dependent on the previous booking and were told we could check in from 12, no charge which was great. Clear instructions sent about how to find the property/parking and how to self check in/out. Overall great experience would stay here again.

Fabulous lodge, very modern and well decorated. The beds were very comfy as was the seating area. The hot tub was amazing, very spacious, under cover and very pretty with the decorations. Couldn't have asked for anything else really, the owners had thought of everything. Only one thing I was suggest - a mirror in the bathroom, as there were 4 girls we could have used a mirror in the bathroom but if that's the only thing then that's not a problem at all. Would definitely visit again

Great location for the centre of York. Lovely bedroom on the quiet side of the flat. Handy having two bathrooms as my son was sleeping in the lounge. Good comms with the landlord.
Great accomodation, in a decent location. It is as far enough out of the centre that it was nice and quiet but within easy walking distance to get into the centre of town. The place was clean and the hottub was a great asset for clearing hangovers. Rooms were comfy and clean. Would definitely stay here again.
The little studio apartment was incredibly cosy and cute. We loved here. Perfect for a couple of a few friends. The bath in the middle of the room was lovely under the TV, very relaxing. The beds were dead comfy and the ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful on all encounters. Had a very pleasant stay here. Thank you.
The flat was lovely—spotlessly clean, easy to find, and in a great location. It was perfect for our family of four. The walk to the city centre took around 15 minutes, which the kids enjoyed without any complaints.
We had a lovely break staying at Abbots Chambers. The flat was delightful and very comfortable. It was so central which made it very easy to get around the centre of the city and we would use it again next time in York.
We had a great stay at Lucy's Lodge. We will definately book there again, on our next visit to York.
Cosy property on a great bus route into York, was ideal for a short stay. Hosts were very responsive and answered all questions i had. Bed was comfortable and property was really clean. Highly recommend

Just home from a fantastic trip. Boutique were great with communication, and were kind enough to let us check in early which saved carrying our luggage around the city. The house was lovely, and exactly as described. There was a minor issue with one of the bathroom showers but nothing that affected our stay. The noise level in the evenings was quite loud, however ear-plugs were supplied. Couldn’t fault the location!! If you want to be right in the middle of the action, it’s the perfect spot.
We had a lovely time, the lodge was great with everything you need. The outside games room area maybe could do with updating a bit. The darts where all snapped and the pool table was wonky beeing leveled off with a beer mat. The hot tub was amazing looking over the pond. We would definitely come back.
This little lodge had everything we needed. It was very cosy and homely and very clean throughout. The hot tub and the lake view was perfect and the setting is so peaceful, just what we needed. From looking at the other lodges on the website here, they are been renovated and they look outstanding, we cannot wait to return to Holly Tree lodge again next year once it has had its refurb! Could not complain about our stay, from start to finish it was seamless. Thanks for having us!
Great apartment with the bonus of a parking space. Easy walking distance into town and the apartment has everything needed for a short stay. All amenities were provided and the check in instructions were easy to understand
Stayed for a week and loved it. Everything you want to work well - WiFi, heating, hot tub, TV, plumbing - did so. Well equipped. Good base for exploring York, Harrogate and surrounding villages ( pubs). Sometimes you can judge a place / company by how they react if something goes wrong. We had a problem when we first arrived and a guy was round within five minutes and fixed it. Will definitely return.
The apartment is fine for a few nights; but for longer it is lacking in a few things that are necessary. It could do with some coat hangers in the entrance (there is plenty of space for this), and also some extra drawers or shelves in the bedroom. Also, the bathroom has no shelves or anywhere to put your toiletries. Also, there is no light at the top of the steps - so if you go out when at night, it is very dark and the steps can get very wet and slippy. However, the apartment does have a well stocked kitchen, with tea and coffee left out that is a nice touch.
