This place is great! Comfortable beds, ample space! Kitchen space and living area has such a luxurious feel, high ceilings and everything you could possibly need and more. Stones throw from the centre of town. Perfect for big groups!! Thanks for having us:):)

I can’t find any faults with this apartment. Perfect location, very clean, great communication, very quiet for it being next to the A19 coming into York. The only fault I can think off is we didn’t stay more nights. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could. The next time we are in York I hope it is available on the dates. This was an outstanding property - very luxurious and all rooms fitted out to a high standard. The location couldn't have been better, easy to walk into city but with private parking. Comfortable big beds meant good nights' sleep and we would definitely recommend.
Lovely little house, clean and tidy with everything you need for a great stay. Super location for walking into York and exploring. Clifton is a lovely area with handy shops, pub etc if you want to stay local in the evenings. Would highly recommend to others, thanks
Very good apartment, a short walk from the centre of York. Everything we needed for our stay, comfortable beds and a good shower with toiletries. The kitchen had a supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk in sachets which was very useful. Overall very pleased with the accommodation.
Great location, very clean, very warm and were responsive whenever needed. Stairs may be a challenge for disabled visitors for anyone with access needs. Didn't affect our stay at all though.

Wonderful place! We were a group of five and had plenty of space. Nice location with a 5 min walk to restaurants, pubs etc. Also easy access to the bus that took us to the University. 16Fishergate has everything you need. It really lived up to our expectations. We would love to come back!

This place exceeded all of our expectations in all honesty, it was beautiful inside and out. So well layed out and was perfect for me and my partner. We love staying in York during Ghost Week. After staying at the same location for the last few years we decided to look for a 3 bedroom place this year. The apartment is 5-10 minutes walk away from the Minster and most of the other York attractions in the town centre. Communication with the owners in advance of our trip was great. We found a parking place in the council car park (which was included with the apartment) just across the main road from the apartment. I have to say one of the best apartments I have stayed in with Airbnb and I have stopped in many around the world. It’s in a beautiful period property and the apartment has retained those period features with a modern look. The large windows are just a standout bringing so much light into the rooms. Two lovely double bedrooms with very comfortable beds. The large open plan kitchen diner / living room provided all we wanted as a party of three. We stayed in York for two nights as our son was running the marathon. Knavesmire Mews was a reasonably central location and a twenty minute walk to the centre. It was a decent size for four adults with a room each and one bedroom with an en-suite, however we did not spend much time relaxing in the house as it was a busy weekend. It was clean and tidy although there was a lingering smell of fried food in the kitchen. There were a few small issues however. Great apartment in the town centre, we loved staying here because we were clsoe to everything we could possibly need. Aaprmtnet was easy to find and instructions were clear! We settled in nicely and despite the openness of the apartment it felt very cosy. Great communication with office staff! Can't wait to come back <3

This was a beautiful lodge in a tranquil setting it was immaculately clean and well maintained myself n my sister stayed in blackthorn Lodge the bonus with this lodge was the outside area pool table darts board giant connect 4 but the hot tub was lush so relaxing . There was also fire pit pizza oven and a log burner everything you need n more A truly enjoyable stay Would definitely recommend this to anyone who is wanting to book enjoy !
Stayed here for a week in October, bottom floor flat . Plenty of parking in Monks Bar carpark, even though it is very close it is expensive but that is down to York council not owners of the apartment . Apartment very clean and tidy, bed comfortable and I had a good night sleep every night. Not far from the centre, 10 minutes walking, and the shops/ restaurants. Less than 5 minutes to get up on to the wall and have a walk around. This is my 4th stay and will be back again.
Great place to stay for a large group looking to spend time in beautiful York! Spacious and comfortable living room, kitchen and dining room area with cosy and comfortable bedrooms. The hot tub was great - and under cover, which was handy! The hosts were really helpful, quick to respond and friendly. Would love to come back.

Great city centre location with parking. Property was as shown on pictures and had plenty of amenities although could of used a few more spare toilet rolls for our stay with 5 occupants. We requested an early check in the evening before as per instructions as dependent on the previous booking and were told we could check in from 12, no charge which was great. Clear instructions sent about how to find the property/parking and how to self check in/out. Overall great experience would stay here again.

Great accomodation, in a decent location. It is as far enough out of the centre that it was nice and quiet but within easy walking distance to get into the centre of town. The place was clean and the hottub was a great asset for clearing hangovers. Rooms were comfy and clean. Would definitely stay here again.
The little studio apartment was incredibly cosy and cute. We loved here. Perfect for a couple of a few friends. The bath in the middle of the room was lovely under the TV, very relaxing. The beds were dead comfy and the ladies in the office were very friendly and helpful on all encounters. Had a very pleasant stay here. Thank you.
The flat was lovely—spotlessly clean, easy to find, and in a great location. It was perfect for our family of four. The walk to the city centre took around 15 minutes, which the kids enjoyed without any complaints.
We had a lovely break staying at Abbots Chambers. The flat was delightful and very comfortable. It was so central which made it very easy to get around the centre of the city and we would use it again next time in York.
We had a great stay at Lucy's Lodge. We will definately book there again, on our next visit to York.

Just home from a fantastic trip. Boutique were great with communication, and were kind enough to let us check in early which saved carrying our luggage around the city. The house was lovely, and exactly as described. There was a minor issue with one of the bathroom showers but nothing that affected our stay. The noise level in the evenings was quite loud, however ear-plugs were supplied. Couldn’t fault the location!! If you want to be right in the middle of the action, it’s the perfect spot.
We had such a lovely stay at the lodge just what we needed beautiful views from the hot tub so peaceful we had so much fun playing darts and pool the amenities were 5 star The lodge is decorated beautifully so modern gorgeous comfy sofa and even comfier beds We will definitely be and will be recommending to all our family and friends 5 star lodge Thank you for having us
This little lodge had everything we needed. It was very cosy and homely and very clean throughout. The hot tub and the lake view was perfect and the setting is so peaceful, just what we needed. From looking at the other lodges on the website here, they are been renovated and they look outstanding, we cannot wait to return to Holly Tree lodge again next year once it has had its refurb! Could not complain about our stay, from start to finish it was seamless. Thanks for having us!
Great apartment with the bonus of a parking space. Easy walking distance into town and the apartment has everything needed for a short stay. All amenities were provided and the check in instructions were easy to understand
Stayed for a week and loved it. Everything you want to work well - WiFi, heating, hot tub, TV, plumbing - did so. Well equipped. Good base for exploring York, Harrogate and surrounding villages ( pubs). Sometimes you can judge a place / company by how they react if something goes wrong. We had a problem when we first arrived and a guy was round within five minutes and fixed it. Will definitely return.
The apartment is fine for a few nights; but for longer it is lacking in a few things that are necessary. It could do with some coat hangers in the entrance (there is plenty of space for this), and also some extra drawers or shelves in the bedroom. Also, the bathroom has no shelves or anywhere to put your toiletries. Also, there is no light at the top of the steps - so if you go out when at night, it is very dark and the steps can get very wet and slippy. However, the apartment does have a well stocked kitchen, with tea and coffee left out that is a nice touch.
