We had a really lovely stay at Charms at CityGate. The check-in process was really smooth and we parked locally. The apartment itself was well-equipped and had everything we needed, including a travel cot for our baby, which we requested on booking. There’s an on-site gym which is a great bonus, although we didn’t have chance to use it. The location is perfect. It took 10 minutes to walk into the city centre and the ASDA and Costa just over the road was really convenient. Overall, a wonderful stay in a great location and we’d happily come back again!
Amazing lodge with everything you could possibly need. Beautiful scenery, peaceful surroundings, and we had an awesome time from start to finish. Can’t wait to come back!

We had a four night stay at Ouse Retreat. The apartment is compact but comfortable. The kitchen had everything we needed to prepare some meals "at home", and having a washing machine was brilliant. Bed was comfortable, although a double rather than a queen, and the bathroom perfectly functional (the storage water heater is good for two showers but not a heap more). Had a great stay here, had everything I needed as a solo traveller. Great location, close enough to the town centre to walk but quiet on a night. Really enjoyed my time here and will 100% return in the future.

absolutely excellent stay here. Great proximity to city centre but still quiet and private. The host is very responsive and the instructions to find/get in the apartment were clear and concise. Unfortunately the WiFi was down during our stay but the host made me aware of this beforehand and reimbursed me for the public paid WiFi instantly upon check out. overall a 5* star stay and I would recommend this apartment to anyone looking for somewhere great to stay in york.

Very good apartment, a short walk from the centre of York. Everything we needed for our stay, comfortable beds and a good shower with toiletries. The kitchen had a supply of tea, coffee, sugar and milk in sachets which was very useful. Overall very pleased with the accommodation.

Everything was clean, comfortable, and well looked after, which made it easy to relax and enjoy our stay. Nice apartment that suited us really well. The location was a bit far from the train station but this wasn’t a surprise, I was well aware of the location but I’m providing this info in case anyone else has small kids and is looking to walk to their rental from the station. Very close to a co-op grocery store which was convenient. The host was very responsive when I asked a question. I would definitely stay here again!

Lovely house with the added bonus of a parking permit. Close to Fossgate where there are lots of bars , cafes and restaurants it really is an ideal location. Very clean and comfortable house that had everything we needed
Cozy, walkable distance from the city centre. We enjoyed our stay at this — the parking in front of the premises is available but very scarce. So it’s a first come first served basis — it’s £15.50 for 24 hours if you’re planning on staying in York for a few days, and you can extend it if you need to. Our room came with a smart TV , and wifi so we were able to watch Netflix and Youtube. It had a fridge and electric stove, toaster and kettle. They even have a washing machine and gave us free pods — we luckily didn’t have to wash anything though. I’d recommend this place if you want to just walk ...more

The development in which the apartment is located is attractive and a few minutes walk from the city centre. The accommodation is comfortable and the kitchen is well equipped, apart from the lack of a corkscrew. However, there were dirty saucepans in the cupboard and one had a handle so loose that it would have been dangerous to use. In addition, the instructions for the cooker in the flat were for another appliance The spout on the kitchen sink tap frequently separated from the base causing a fountain of water to flood the draining board and the windowsill behind the sink. This was an amazing find for our stay in York, the location was perfect, there was parking available literally on your doorstep, the apartment was modern, spacious and had everything we needed. Very clean. Hosts were helpful. No faults.
It is a pleasant well furnished apartment with very comfortable beds within easy walking distance of York station and close to places of interest and local restaurants. It is in a quiet street with the added bonus of free permit parking outside the property. We found your folder of instructions useful so were able to join the wi fi easily and adjust the central heating thermostat to meet our needs. The kitchen was well equipped and we found everything we wanted. The beds were comfortable with good linen.

We had a fantastic stay at this house. Set back in a remote location, it has a real country feel which made it perfect for a relaxing break away from everything. It was peaceful and private, exactly what we were looking for. The games room was a big hit with everyone, especially the kids, and kept us all entertained throughout the stay. Great apartment in the town centre, we loved staying here because we were clsoe to everything we could possibly need. Aaprmtnet was easy to find and instructions were clear! We settled in nicely and despite the openness of the apartment it felt very cosy. Great communication with office staff! Can't wait to come back <3
This lodge exceeded our expectations. It was honestly beautiful. The décor was lovely, the lake view from the garden space was spot on. The grounds itself was so peaceful and the staff we encountered was so friendly. No faults from us. We cant wait to return!
Lovely property and a very nice area. Was surprised at how scuffed and marked walls were when we arrived. Just a quick coat of paint would sort that. The shower pressure is terrible, particularly if people are using both showers at same time. Overall though, a really enjoyable stay.
These apartments are in an ideal, central location for the city Center. Spotlessly clean with modern decor. This was our third time staying here and will certainly be back.

A clean cosy apartment 2 min walk from York hospital. My husband was admitted there so I needed to stay close by , this apartment was perfect for that. The bus stop to get you into York city centre is less then 5 min walk. Apartment has a good shower, comfortable big bed. Parking for your car which is a big plus! Not a lot of TV cancels.

We had a lovely time here. The kitchen /living space was perfect for us all to be together. We also enjoyed the hot tub and outdoor area! Thank you very much for having us to stay! We could have done with a little more loo roll if anything, although I understand that when a member of the group called the hosts they provided extra so this wasn’t really an issue. All just to note the blind in one of the upstairs bedrooms is broken.

Great city centre location with parking. Property was as shown on pictures and had plenty of amenities although could of used a few more spare toilet rolls for our stay with 5 occupants. We requested an early check in the evening before as per instructions as dependent on the previous booking and were told we could check in from 12, no charge which was great. Clear instructions sent about how to find the property/parking and how to self check in/out. Overall great experience would stay here again.

We absolutely loved the lodge and the hot tub especially was a lot of fun and relaxation to be in. The little play area with pool and arcade was a lovely touch, and we adored the pizza oven too!

Having made a late booking we were delighted with the fast response from the host, Claire. The accommodation was clean, tidy and cosy on arrival. It was well equipped and spacious. We stayed for 4 nights and had dinner in the local pubs, all of which were friendly and great food. Our accommodation was handy to York, so great for getting around. We will be returning again in April and have booked to stay again with York Boutique Lets. Both Claire and Jo were exceptionally helpful.

We travelled as as a party of 4, 2 mums with kids for 3 nights during half term. The property was ideally located for walking to all the York sights - and we easily walked to and from the train station with a wheelie bag. The apartment felt really secure and had every amenity you’d need for cooking should you wish to. Loads of restaurants within walking distance. Great value for money and perfect for putting the kids to bed and being able to sit and chill with a glass of wine. Great communication with the hosts, have already recommended York Boutique Lets to friends.
Always an amazing flat to stay in. This was my second time staying here. Hosts are responsive, flat is always immaculate. The location is great. Easy walk into the city but bishy road is amazing for local cafes and shops. I'd stay there a third time if I could!
We booked here as we had vouchers given us for a wedding present so can't really complain about the cost of it. However if we had paid i would say the price was quite expensive as we've stayed at better cheaper sites. Check in is after 4 which is a bit of a waste of a day. When we walked in there was ant traps visible but we didn't notice any until the morning after our first night when ants were all in the work tops and had been crawling in the food.
Henry Court Apartment 1 is compact but very well laid out and has everything we need even for long stays. It is located in a quiet cul-de-sac off the main street of Acomb, 10 minutes walk from Morrison's and just 20 minutes by bus from York. The number one bus to the centre of York stops almost outside. We have stayed there many times and it is our accommodation of choice when we are in York.
The lodge was clean and very beautiful, we esp liked the outdoor area with the pool table, darts board and the hot tub. Would recommend this place and we can not wait to come back.

A really beautiful place! Luxurious, yet homely cabin. Peaceful surroundings and very relaxing. We absolutely loved the hot tub and outdoor space and cinema room. The inside of the lodge was stunning, with excellent modernisation. We loved having the air fryer and access to little things like tea bags/coffee/bin bags/cleaning items was a real plus. We honestly loved our two-night mini break.
