Very clean and cosy cottage.
Only a few yards to the beach, to the local store and to a pub.
Parking in front of the cottage is challenging but it works...
We'd love to be back one day!
Forsythia House proved to be an ideal base for a short stay in North Norfolk. We have previously visited Overstrand on many occasions, originally as far back as the 1960's to visit relatives and then for family holidays when our children were very young. We therefore have an ongoing wish to revisit a part of the country which has very special memories as well as the continuing attraction of the beauty and tranquility of the area.

We had a very comfortable and enjoyable stay. The proximity to Felbrigg Estate was a bonus and the location was very peaceful. I'm inclined to agree with an earlier reviewer that cleaning to the required level with a fairly early checkout would be difficult. (We had to leave a day early so we had plenty of time ).
We had a very comfortable stay in the Bakehouse, which was just a short walk from the beach.
The cottage was warm and cosy and well equipped.
Definitely one to return to.
Couldn’t fault this beautiful little rural cottage, warm and cosy with everything you need. All seaside towns about a 20 minute drive, with lots to do and see on the North Norfolk coastline. The only suggestion for me personally would be to have a secure area in the garden if you take your dog with you. However that said the large enclosed garden looking over the countryside is beautiful and relaxing.
We stayed at Swallow Cottage for a couple of days. The cottage was spotlessly clean with comfy beds and a welcome pack was much appreciated on arrival. So nice to find a lovely cottage and would love to return
