A well-equipped and comfortable cottage in a quiet coastal location. Would definitely stay again in the future.
Good location and easy to find. The cottage is warm, comfortable and very clean. A very good welcome pack which was appreciated. The slight problem we had was resolved very quickly. The only downside is the parking as the main street can get very busy and we had to park a good distance from the cottage after unloading. Otherwise it is good value and would book again.
Lovely large house that felt spacious, good quality furniture and fittings. Beds very comfortable. Showers were very good. Sited in a very quiet area. Description in brochure was as found. Only would have liked a door on the suite bathroom. Only one very large frying pan and no potato peeler. Everybody thought the house was excellent.
close to the beach and close to a pub, parking is on he road but this did not prove to be difficult, shop about 3 doors down, 5 minute walk to the beach
Our stay in Norfolk was made more enjoyable by our lovely cottage.Hollybrook cottage had everything we needed, from a well equipt kitchen (we all enjoy cooking) to the comfy beds and pleasant sittingroom. We really appreciated the extras(bottle of very drinkable wine and chocy bics) very thoughtful. We would all recommend a stay in this delightful cottage.
We wanted a good quiet fairly centrally-located rural cottage from which to explore on our bikes and this was perfect. Things and places to aim for in all directions including Wroxham, Cromer, Sherringham Reepham etc. without too much effort ! A really good cottage to return to each day, cosy and warm and with all the facilities we needed to make our stay really enjoyable..
What a beautiful house, so cosy and clean. I loved every minute of my stay with my family. To be so near to the sea was wonderful, and to visit the Cliff Cafe - very inviting and great coffee! Enjoyed our visit to Overstrand and Holt, with its independent shops excellent fish and chips! I would love to visit again one day. This review from Grandma who stayed with the family.
We always have a lovely time in a Poppyland Cottage. Everything is home from home and beautifully arranged. Tracey has a real eye for detail and there are always fresh flowers and wine awaiting us ... (plus other very generous goodies!) Rectory Cottage is cosy and near the sea - and like all other Poppyland Cottages supplied with lovely white linen and masses of hot water - what more can one ask? Thank you again, Tracey and Tim for all of your hard work.
From the moment we walked into Swallow Cottage 1, we were struck by how homely it felt. The 'cottage' feel was evident in every room and we particularly loved the kitchen floor, wood burner, interior doors, comfortable beds, power shower, stunning garden, seclusion and unexpected gifts; wine, chocolate, flowers and posh biscuits! What a lovely touch! We felt sad to leave and could see us purchasing a property of the like for ourselves. If I was pushed to record a negative - and this is unbelievably picky - the sofas were too low and soft, so we sat in the evenings on the firmer, straight-b...more
