We have seven beautifully converted self catering holiday cottages and four luxury yurts sleeping between two and ten people located in the immediate area around the Garlic Farm. A tennis court, football pitch and games room are available exclusively for our guests. All our properties are equipped with free WIFI. We can book discounted ferry crossings on all routes. We also welcome dogs to the farm and each cottage has its own enclosed garden space. We are ideally located for exploring the Island on foot or bicycle. There is a private fishing lake 1/2 a mile away and beaches no more than 10 minutes by car.
The cottages can also be booked together for group accommodation of up to 45 people.
We had an amazing 3 night stay in the Ruthie yurt.
The team were incredibly responsive when we had a slight issue.
They had thought of everything, it was so well kitted out with everything you could need.
My now husband and I stayed here for a few nights for our wedding and my family in one of the cottages. Honestly it's such a perfect place with the most wonderful communal area for BBQ, campfires, dining, bar area and games space too. The whole place was so clean and very well maintained and just made everything so unbelievably perfect. We cannot thank the Garlic Farm enough for having such a wonderful business and places to stay. Plus you're all simply wonderful people too!! Will defo be staying again. We LOVED IT!!!!!!!!
Little Mersley Farmhouse was an incredible find. Booking made very easy with Melanie who was a delight to meet during our stay. Very pretty house set in lovely countryside. Easy access to all parts of the island being central. House very clean and extremely well equipped.
Loved the garlic farm shop. Breakfast in the restaurant on our last day we all said was the “best full english we had ever had”.
We were fortunate to have amazing weather for the time of year which meant we could enjoy the island to the full. Highly recommend the garlic farm.
Easy to find, The Garlic Farm is well placed centrally to explore the island. Able to park outside Farmhouse Cottage. Welcomed by Colin from the adjoining farmhouse.
Cottage so pretty from outside, inside it had everything needed, large bathroom with bath and great shower. Bedroom spacious with door to outdoor patio area.
Living room well equipped, comfy sofa, TV, cooking facilities, and really appreciated the thoughtful additional touches – fresh flowers, teabags, coffee & sugar, and a fresh pint of milk in the fridge. Also a garlic bulb and jar of garlic pickle!
Close by a tennis court...more
After staying in yurt Eric we fully enjoyed our stay, family of 3 with a 4 year old girl who absolutely loved it, everything we needed was there and on hand, very quite, peaceful and relaxing the only small issue was the bathroom door got jammed when opening which little one had a little incident with. But overall great stay
Booked this for a cycle trip round Isle of Wight. Perfect for us with a great cafe and restaurant. Much better value than B&B or pub stay. Would highly recommend and happily return.
We loved our mini break in Yurt Otto. The valley location is very pleasing. The Yurt is well appointed with all possible needs considered. The bed was very comfortable and large. Just a small negative was the sound of traffic from the nearby road. We attempted the garlic farm walk but it was very overgrown and we had to turn back. The restaurant is always a treat and I think we will make a return visit for sure.
Wonderful stay and really helpful staff thank you, particularly the cleaning staff.
Beautiful location, we stayed int he heatwave and went home a night early as we have aircon at home, this was no fault of the property, it was just a very hot time.
We would go back and stay.
The TV internet connection was no existent for Smart TV applications e.g. Netflix, Amazon etc. they kept locking up and was frustrating.
We could not shut the gate so the dog had to be on the lead all the time was a bit of a fag.
Very handy for going for breakfast in the morning and lunch or dinner without getting in the car, that was really good.
It would have been nice if the was somebody on site as a contact if you had any issues, that wasn’t clear if there was someone.
This was my third visit to the Garlic farm and fifth visit to the IoW.
Melanie kindly arranged discounted ferry tickets.
The cottage is spacious with a plentiful supply of hot water.
I particularly like the little garden and seating spaces.
The farm also has a very nice cafe, and shop.
It’s a good base from which to explore the island.
