Characterful and spacious yurt, thoughtfully designed and in a secluded spot. The Garlic Farm features many lovely elements including an on-site restaurant, extensive food shop, café and games room for residence as well as a tennis court. Highly recommended getaway.
I only have a positive view of our weekend stay! The yurt was lovely and clean, location great well kept, staff friendly and easy to contact if needed. The only thing that could have improved it for me would be having a squeegee to use on the wetroom floor so it's not left wet for the next user. We stayed on November and lit the fire in the evening. Yurts' insulation is great and we didn't get cold, just nippy in the mornings, as you'd expect. We definately plan to return on a family holiday and bring more people with us.
Little Mersley Farmhouse was an incredible find. Booking made very easy with Melanie who was a delight to meet during our stay. Very pretty house set in lovely countryside. Easy access to all parts of the island being central. House very clean and extremely well equipped. Loved the garlic farm shop. Breakfast in the restaurant on our last day we all said was the “best full english we had ever had”. We were fortunate to have amazing weather for the time of year which meant we could enjoy the island to the full. Highly recommend the garlic farm.
Thoroughly enjoyed our 2-nt stay in a yurt with hot tub whilst celebrating our wedding anniversary. With family staying in Kiln & Mill Cottages, we made use of the hot tub, the sauna, games room and tennis court. We thoroughly recommend The Garlic Farm for its superb location and even caught a glimpse of a red squirrel.
Booked last minute for a short stay. Smooth booking process, comprehensive information. Peaceful location, walks from the doorstep and great food in the restaurant.
Had a great time away, yurt was lovely, not stayed in one before so not sure what to expect. so really pleased it was much better than a wooden pod. Nice touch with home grown flowers and we even saw squirrels, would of loved to try the hammock but a bit wet, so that will be for next time. It's really helpful having the milk and fire made up so you can get on with enjoying the quiet, thank you for the lovely touches
Loved everything about Paddock cottage , cosy clean , comfortable bed and very well equipped. Nice touch with complementary garlic farm products . This was our first time staying at Garlic Farm and we will definitely be returning very soon .
Lovely warm comfy cottage. Excellent location on the Garlic Farm. The milk and coffee etc were appreciated. Minor feedback There were rather a lot of stairs Too many items on kitchen worktop (for instance why not have knives and utensils in the drawers?) The self closing toilet seat in accessible bedroom was stiff Instructions for appliances especially dishwasher were out of date. (Could be found on the Web)
Another fantastic stay at The Garlic Farm. The Yurt is spacious, well equipped and perfectly warm for a late Oct/Nov weekend trip. Our kids (6 and 4 yr old twins) love the Games Room and having a tennis court on site. As adults, having the restaurant/cafe & play area on site is great too. We will be back!
Nostalgic trip to the Isle of Wight made perfect by staying at the fabulous Garlic Farm. I have bought online from them for years, so when I realised they had accommodation and a restaurant too I was very excited and Kiln Cottage and the Garlic Farm and restaurant absolutely did not disappoint! Incredibly friendly staff throughout and felt very personal cheerful service, down to fresh flowers in the cottage from the local flower farm. Big emphasis on local produce and sustainability. We'll definitely be back. Great job!
A comfortable cottage to spend a few days. Good location to explore the island from. Great dinner and breakfast in the restaurant. Would recommend
In this day and age of fake news and controversy over the honesty of reviews it' can be hard to sound genuine when something is so good. From the very first e mail through to arrival and then eating and buying from the shop every little detail was just perfect. The cottage was superb. Attractive, clean and well detailed. The staff so friendly. The quality exactly what it should be. Everything we needed was provided and the only regret was that we couldn't stay longer. Thank you to all, we will be back.
