We have seven beautifully converted self catering holiday cottages and four luxury yurts sleeping between two and ten people located in the immediate area around the Garlic Farm. A tennis court, football pitch and games room are available exclusively for our guests. All our properties are equipped with free WIFI. We can book discounted ferry crossings on all routes. We also welcome dogs to the farm and each cottage has its own enclosed garden space. We are ideally located for exploring the Island on foot or bicycle. There is a private fishing lake 1/2 a mile away and beaches no more than 10 minutes by car.
The cottages can also be booked together for group accommodation of up to 45 people.
We stayed at the Garlic farm for 3 weeks whilst carrying out a works contract. Our team stayed in both the cottage and yurts through our duration and had the most perfect stay all round. Thank you Garlic Farm for making our stay really comfortable at affordable prices. I have already recommended you to friends & family and will certainly be making a return visit in 2025.
11/10 highly recommended!!
At last minute short break booking, lovely location, very cosy and comfortable, would recommend if you are a couple staying there with family members who are staying in one if the other properties on site where you can join them for breakfast
Booked to stay at the garlic farm for a little weekend break.
We booked the little Mersley cottage. Sleeps 10 however we just had 4 adults.
Wow what an amazing cosy cottage.
We arrived later than expected, but the cottage was open for us. And little welcome gift of chutney and garlic from the farm.
The cottage was very well equipped with all the essentials we needed including bedding and towels, shampoo and body wash, toilet rolls, kitchen well equipped with washing up liquid, dishwasher tablets, tea towels, tea, coffee, sugar and fresh milk in the fridge.
Plenty of wood for the wood...more
The Yurts are exceptional and surpassed our expectations - absolutely beautiful! We loved the clear domes in the Yurt (Bonnie) and in the shower/toilet. The Yurts are very well equipped, with seating and a firepit outside - there is also a 'communal' area which has a log burner, equipped kitchen, and pizza oven. The Yurts are very well spaced and there is 'hedge' screening between each one so you are not overlooking the neighbours. Red squirrels are on the site (which was a massive bonus for us) and the chickens roam freely in the late afternoon and visit the yurts. This was a space where...more
I honestly can’t fault this place, a great experience. Very comfortable. Everything you need provided as well, i.e milk, salt, pepper etc. Try the restaurant for breakfast as well, excellent food. Saw red squirrels in first 5 minutes of being there, amazing.
Another lovely stay at the garlic farm, facilities are excellent, well presented and cosy. Perfect for our needs. The location is perfect with plenty to do on site or not far to the main spots on the Island.
We LOVED our few days at The Garlic Farm, it was us and our 4 year old. Having safe, peaceful and adventurous space to walk out and explore, and some activities, restaurant/cafe and shop, where we were staying was a real gift in addition to exploring the island. The Paddock Cottage was bigger than the photos give away, warm, comfortable and quiet with everything we could have needed there for us. The owners of the farm were helpful and friendly at all times, they also offer to book your ferry at a discount which we did not realise and should have waited for their follow up email! A beautiful c...more
We had a great time staying in Kiln Cottage at The Garlic Farm.
The accommodation was clean and well equipped. Check in/out was also easy.
Parking spaces right by the cottage helped too.
The emails leading up to the stay, guest guide app and arrival details all sent through in good time in the lead up to our break, arriving at the right time to keep us informed and furnished with the info we needed to plan our time there.
A couple of thoughtful welcome items were also a surprise.
We love the garlic farm location and surroundings and hadn't stayed in this property before. I booked it as I thought it had a bigger garden for our dog, which it did, but it wasn't 100% secure for a small escape artist so we couldn't let him lose in the garden. He could have got out under the gate either side. The main gate had bamboo attached to it but it wasn't right to the ground and small dogs if inclined could get out. In hindsight we would have been better in one of the other cottages with a small back yard area. Cleanliness could have been better this time, there were a few things...more
