We have seven beautifully converted self catering holiday cottages and four luxury yurts sleeping between two and ten people located in the immediate area around the Garlic Farm. A tennis court, football pitch and games room are available exclusively for our guests. All our properties are equipped with free WIFI. We can book discounted ferry crossings on all routes. We also welcome dogs to the farm and each cottage has its own enclosed garden space. We are ideally located for exploring the Island on foot or bicycle. There is a private fishing lake 1/2 a mile away and beaches no more than 10 minutes by car.
The cottages can also be booked together for group accommodation of up to 45 people.
We had a 3 night weekend stay at Ruthie. There ended up being just the two of us so I had the lovely big bed all to myself which is super comfy, and my teenage son had the mezzanine to himself. The stairs are a bit precarious on the way down but no mishaps had.
Its just a lovely cosy place to stay - and we of course had the hot tub which was wonderful too. There was a small issue with the toilet which was sorted very quickly.
I loved having the convenience of the shower and the small kitchen so we could prepare the basics, although we didn't come with any intention of cooking. The weather w...more
Lovely place for a holiday break away.
The yurts are very comfortable and in a very nice setting. The tennis court and games room are a very nice bonus too. Would recommend this place.
I highly recommend this property to others. The location is excellent, offering a peaceful and quiet atmosphere surrounded by nature. We had an amazing experience and thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
This is my 2nd time visiting the garlic farm yurts. They are amazing, they have everything you need and the communal area has alot to offer with a BBQ and pizza oven.
So much space for activities.
We had a few faults, shower was blocked but was fixed within 20 mins.
The only negative was that the dome wet room was broken, could open to release any steam, and with 5 ladies sharing on a hot weekend it could have done with some air circulation.
I would love to visit again and again!
The beds were well made , we were given a very welcome discount on the ferry crossing, the towels were lovely and there was a pint of (very expensive) milk in the fridge. The location was beautiful and we were surrounded by lovely plants, with a little garden of our own to sit out in. The owner made up a put you up bed in the sitting room for us in case we needed it and said she wouldn’t charge for it which was kind.
We found the cottage wasn’t as private as we would have liked. We had a shared door to the owners cottage and we could hear everything they said. Their front garden was outside ou...more
The perfect place to chill out and relax, but within easy reach of the beauty the Isle of Wight has to offer. We were so impressed with the level of comfort, and the care and attention taken to provide a pleasurable stay, from the wild flowers picked for our enjoyment on the kitchen table to the little gifts of garlic delights left for us to try. So quiet and peaceful, we didn’t want to leave, and I was lucky enough to see 2 red squirrels as well. Perfectly placed to explore the coast, the downs and the visitor attractions, we were never far from anywhere. The Garlic shop was full of treasure ...more
Communication was fantastic. We were especially grateful for the discounted ferry booking and the last-minute re-booking when our return ferry was delayed.
Paddock Cottage is perfect for a couple: small and cosy with a super-comfortable bed and everything needed for cooking simple meals. Little private garden is great for breakfast. The cottage also surprisingly quiet, given that it's so close to the restaurant (which we love), shop (where we were inspired to start our Christmas shopping in August!) and café.
Being able to park right outside the front door is brilliant and we enjoyed the ...more
Came back for a second time and wasn’t disappointed. Great location for exploring the island. Yurt was perfect for the family we had great fun doing some experiences on the garlic farm and making the most of the other facilities such as tennis and the games room. Staff very friendly and attentive especially when we ran out of the gas - was all fixed in 30minutes. Food was lovely, boys loved the evening the magician came! We were sad to come home.
Our recent week at 'The Milking Parlour' on The Garlic Farm was simply fantastic, exceeding all our expectations. From start to finish, the experience was seamless and delightful.
The booking process itself was incredibly efficient and straightforward, making the initial arrangements stress-free. The pre-booking communication was equally impressive, keeping us well-informed and excited for our trip. A special mention must go to the discount offer on Ferry prices, which was well worth taking and added significant value to our journey.

Our stay in Barn Cottage at The Garlic Farm was the best holiday I have had since having kids, 6 years ago. Stunning location, friendly staff, safe environment for children, delicious food at the restaurant and to top it off a tennis court! 10/10.
