Malthouse Farm Barn is a wonderful place to have a break. The barn is a home from home. This was our dog's first holiday and the barn was perfect for the four of them. The garden is a good size and really secure. The parking is enclosed which makes it easier to get really excited dogs out of your vehicle as you don't have to worry about them running on to a road. We loved our stay and will be back again as soon as we can.
Hadn’t holidayed with both of our GSD before but this was the perfect place to stay. Accomodation and ameneties were to such a high standard with everything you could possibly need. The addition of a secure field to use throughout the stay was so welcome and lovely walks direct from the door. Would love to stay again soon and would highly recommended, the owners were lovely and communicative before and during the stay when we reached out to them.
Thoroughly enjoyed our short break at The Lookout which definitely deserves our five star ratings. Clean, comfortable, totally dog friendly, very well equipped and on top of that a most glorious view! Communication from the owner excellent, great directions easy to follow and information re the accommodation itself. Would definitely stay again.
We had a fantastic stay at Bumblebee. Paul and Stella have done a wonderful job building, decorating and furnishing this cottage. Everything has been done to such a high standard it was a joy to be there. The sofa and bed were super comfy and perfect for cosy nights in and lovely lie ins. We loved the location - having a paddock to use was a real plus, where Albus could also meet up with other friendly dogs staying and play with his ball. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and the perfect size for us and our labrador. Our hosts Paul & Stella were very friendly and on hand if we needed them yet unobtrusive. Our pup celebrated his 1st birthday while we were there and he had a blast on the beach (his first holiday), Paul & Stella even kindly gave him a birthday present. He loved the private dog paddock and made friends with some lovely dogs who were staying in The Walnut. 1 Paynes Cottage is delightful. It has been sensitively renovated retaining its original features combining with modern living . The welcome hamper was greatly appreciated as were the safe areas where our dog ‘Bertie’ could romp. The cottage had everything we needed during our five night stay although the Broadband/Wifi connection is very slow. The local pub, the Crown inn, was also very welcoming and produced well priced suppers with huge portions!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Thank you
This was one of the most relaxing , well thought out cottages I have ever stayed in. Not only did it have everything provided for us humans the dogs were well catered for too. You really only need bring yourselves and your dogs, everything is here for everyone from beds,bowls,crates,throws,towels for the dogs ,also treats and spare food if needed to a lovely welcome basket for humans, and the most comfortable cosy cottage. If you're looking for a beautiful spot to take your four-legged friend, this is it! The location is gorgeous, but what really set this place apart was how fantastic it was for the dog. It meant we could all relax. Plus, the hot tub was amazing! A perfect, hassle-free holiday in a stunning location
we had the best time staying here, 6 adults and 4 dogs and there was plenty of room for all. The communication with Tracey was great, the facilities were modern and beautiful, and the garden was a great size and perfectly enclosed so we didn’t worry about our dogs escaping. You do have to drive to get places but there’s lots to do within a 10 min drive so we didn’t mind! Would definitely stay again
Our second time here and even better than we remembered. Everything we needed was there. Near to lots of dog friendly beaches Happisburgh, Cart Gap and Sea Palling being our favourites, Winterton is a bit further but definitely worth it. We enjoyed a couple of circular walks from the cottage. Hope to return in the near future

A fabulous place to stay. The owners have thought of everything to ensure your dog has a wonderful time. Great communication in advance of the stay, including sample itineraries and checking dietary requirements for the welcome pack. The welcome pack was outstanding, so thoughtful. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Attention to detail outstanding. The dog friendly enclosed areas were much appreciated. The patio was a great place to relax after a busy day sight seeing.
We have stayed in this part of Norfolk before and love the area but it was our first time at Dormy. We were impressed with all the facilities in the cottage, comfy beds, very fluffy towels, all mod cons in the kitchen and a large comfy sofa that we could all fit on and relax. Everything was spotlessly clean and there’s a dish washer so no one has to wash up on holiday. You can hear the sea and the view out the front is lovely too, we enjoyed watching the large skeins of Pink-footed Geese every morning and small murmurations of Starlings too. This is our second visit to this lovely cottage beautifully presented from the moment you arrive the field for the dogs to run in is ideal. Everything has been thought of it’s definitely luxury to a high standard. The welcome hamper for us & our 5 dogs was a lovely touch even included a birthday cake & card. The owners are onsite & are friendly & helpful. The cottage is ideally situated for the beach, wooded walks. Stalham is a couple of miles away which has a supermarket, fish & chip shop & other takeaways also a vet which we have had to use. This accommodation is 1st class!
What’s not to love. We love Winterton, it just has everything and it has Ruby Gem. Parking, blackout blinds, motion sensor lights just add to what makes this property a real ‘Ruby’. See you next year.
Salty Sea Dog is located about 2 minutes from a lovely Sandy beach. We enjoyed long walks in both directions, towards Walcott and Mundesley. Nice local fish and chip shop, Chinese restaurant and cafes within walking distance. The lodge is very clean, comfortable and is very well equipped. It has sea views from lounge and dining area. The owner supplied very helpful information about the area and lodge prior to arrival. Would definitely recommend

Our yearly Family getaway built around our dogs, one extra this year so up to 7 now. It has always been difficult to find somewhere that allows more than 4, but not now! Over the previous few years we have stayed in various areas of Wales and the Lake District in some pretty spectacular accommodation but none come close to Bristows Barn. Best yet by a distance and was equipped with everything that was required and more and we will definitely return as Norfolk has so much more for us to see. Stephen, your property is amazing and the area it is set in is lovely also.

We really enjoyed our family break in Bishy Barnabee. Mark and Helen were kind enough to allow our Son plus his family and also our friends to join ourselves, and our daughter and family to join us on the Saturday. The supply of the crate for one of our dogs that had a cruciate ligament op on the Monday before our stay was very much appreciated. The grand children want to come again. You know when that happens it’s been an enjoyable stay
Comprehensive welcome information. Immaculately clean. Massive useful welcome pack. Comfy bed. Soft lovely smelling towels. Gorgeous garden with different seating areas. Garden 100% dog proof & well lit. Lovely walks right from the door. Felt really homely. Supermarket conveniently located. that will deliver. Local pub (The Bluebell) very welcoming with delicious home cooked meals. Shall definitely return!!
Having stayed in a number of “dog friendly” cottages in the past it was a very welcome change to finally find one that is truly so. The welcome park was superb and our labrador was especially keen on the Nico treats! She had a choice of comfortable dog beds which saves the need for fitting one in the car, there was spare doggie towels & blankets plus toys, leads, bowls, everything you could need. Really beautiful bungalow we had a comfortable stay and everything we needed, hot tub was lovely. However we did not like Scratby at all, very disappointing and not at all our cup of tea, think we have been too spoilt in the past staying at lovely Winterton on sea just up the road, but Scratby is worlds apart and we would definitely not choose to go there again unfortunately. Can’t fault Easton Rushton cottages though, always great to deal with and the best at being dog friendly! We had a lovely stay in this pretty and well equipped dog-friendly property. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We managed to time our arrival with Storm Amy blowing in, and were delighted that she had ensured the accommodation was toasty warm. Being Norfolk, the sun magically managed to put in an appearance each day. The stunning sandy beach was within walking distance, as was Happisburgh’s iconic lighthouse.
We had a fantastic time here, will definitely be back. Beautiful house and they couldn’t have done more. Especially as we had massive problems at the end of the holiday. The welcome pack for people and dogs was amazing.
Recently come home from a great week at Corner Cottage. What a great find this place was !close to beaches, woods .Perfect for us and our dogs . Welcoming ,clean and practical the owners have thought of everything we may have needed. Peaceful surroundings .Close to the Lessingham Star where we had 2 great meals. This was our 4th stay at this wonderful property and we have booked again. We love it and so do our dogs. It's really hard to find nice places to take 3 dogs that are actually dog friendly in practice but Beachcomber is. Cannot fault the cottage or the customer service and Winterton is a beautiful place. I never worry anymore that it will be difficult with our dogs, I know all members of the family will have a fantastic time in a fantastic place.

We enjoyed our stay at the very comfortable Brig Cottage, Scratby. The cottage is a short walk from a wide, sandy beach with great walks in both directions. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the cottage well equipped for a self-catering stay. Lots to do and see in the area e.g. National Trust properties, Cromer, Sheringham, Horsey Gap, Redwings Horse Sanctuary. Plenty of places at which to eat and drink. Great value and highly recommended.
A fantastic property set in a quiet village. Great for dogs, very clean & cosy. A lovely setting for a break the surrounding areas are very dog friendly.

Skylark is a well equipped compact little chalion the Winterton Estate by miles of sandy beach. We were sent loads of info that turned out to be for the whole region so had to be dug through to find out what was actually local. At last minute chose to pack our own bedding on discovering that dog friendly did not include the bed. Lovely week with lots of walks on the beach spotting the seals. A late booking for a long weekend and wow what an amazing find. The cottage was as described and more, full of character, clean, fully equipped with everything you think of. We arrived in the pouring rain during storm Amy to be greeted with a lovely hamper with lots of lovely goodies which went down a treat after a long drive. The Lodge had everything we needed and more. Not a cow or sheep in sight so we didn’t have to worry about our dogs chasing them! Can highly recommend a stay and will certainly look forward to another visit.
Really enjoyed our week at this beautifully renovated cottage. Walking the dogs by the marina was a treat for them and us. Local beaches in easy reach by car and many were almost empty and dog friendly. A perfect location for a week away in early autumn
Our first experience of taking our reactive dogs on holiday and it was made so easy for us. The great information provided about dog fields and dog friendly beaches was so useful and we used the dog field at Bannington twice. The lodge itself was spotless and provided everything we needed for ourselves and our dogs. It really was like home from home. Our only regret was not being able to utilise the upper floor facilities due to mobility issues but is nonetheless ideal for other holidaymakers. Had a much needed 5 day break in East Cottage, Walnut Farm, Waxham. It was everything we hoped for. We have an exempt XL Bully and the secure high-fenced (landscaped for us and him) gave us great peace of mind to let him have freedom in the garden. Walks to the beach mapped out on a little welcoming postcard along with walks around the farm. Everywhere was very clean and extremely ‘home from home’ . I stayed at Farthing Cottage with friends and my cocker spaniel for a weekend break. The cottage is cozy and well equipped for self catering. The garden was completely secure, so perfect for the dog, and we were delighted with the welcome hampers for both two and four-legged guests. The electric car charger was much appreciated as well! The only reason for 4 stars on condition is that the extractor fan in the bathroom sounds like it needs replacing and we found that if we had the kettle or extractor fan on and opened the dishwasher, the circuits for the sockets in the kitchen and living area ...more
We had a delightful long weekend at Badger's Retreat. We had rain and sun in equal measure but were able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the garden and surrounding area. The road going past it has about one car a day. The Weavers Way is 5 minutes walk away and the beautiful beaches a short drive away. We walked to the Swan in Stalham which was very good and also went to Smallsticks and Poppylands cafes which were excellent. When it rained it was cosy to sit and read in the conservatory. Lovely cottage snuggled in the countryside with views and walks to die for outside the door. The cottage was well appointed and comfy for humans and doggies. The nearby beaches especially Happisburgh and Sea Palling were simply fab and the nearby Cafes are excellent serving fresh food with a smile. Defo will return
Red Roofs is a large character house. Very spacious with comfortable beds in airy large rooms. The gardens back & front are huge. The back garden is a dogs delight & perfect for all breeds of dogs playing ball & sniffy games. I have never seen such a large amount of goodies for humans including enormous sponge cake with the tastiest of jams. This house is perfect for family / friends meet up. Stayed there with my husband and two large dogs. We had plenty of room and the garden was great for zoomies! Hot tub was lovely with lots of space. Cottage had all the major conveniences but a bit more information would have been helpful (i.e. instruction manuals for appliances, bin procedure etc.) It's a great location to disconnect and get away from everything. Two beautiful walking routes, either through fields and up the river or over the dunes and to the beach. A 3 night stay in Sunny Cottage in October was bliss. A fantastic get away from the hustle and bustle, to chill and enjoy some amazing family and puppy time. I cannot recommend this cottage enough. A wonderful place to stay and the cottage was rustic, yet had all mod-cons that you could wish for (of a high standard). Monty, our 5 month old Goldendoodle, was thrilled with his box of toys to play with, provided for in the cottage, not to mention his choice of two doggy beds! Pollywiggle was in a beautiful location with walks to the beach and to the broads. I had a couple of small niggles at first but they were quickly dealt with, mostly down to my knowledge of how to work the gas oven. Their is no gas were I live. The garden is very secure and although gravel was fine for my dogs. The static has all you need, except a bread knife. Being on the larger size I kept hitting the oven knobs when I was at the sink. The bed was wonderfully comfortable
