Wonderful property with all home comforts provided for our trip - 5 adults and a staffy. Provided everything we needed and went out of their way to make sure we had a great stay - even jumping in the car and driving after us to make sure we took the best route for a beach walk. Great location
Thoroughly enjoyed our short break at The Lookout which definitely deserves our five star ratings. Clean, comfortable, totally dog friendly, very well equipped and on top of that a most glorious view! Communication from the owner excellent, great directions easy to follow and information re the accommodation itself. Would definitely stay again.
Hadn’t holidayed with both of our GSD before but this was the perfect place to stay. Accomodation and ameneties were to such a high standard with everything you could possibly need. The addition of a secure field to use throughout the stay was so welcome and lovely walks direct from the door. Would love to stay again soon and would highly recommended, the owners were lovely and communicative before and during the stay when we reached out to them.
We had a fantastic stay at Bumblebee. Paul and Stella have done a wonderful job building, decorating and furnishing this cottage. Everything has been done to such a high standard it was a joy to be there. The sofa and bed were super comfy and perfect for cosy nights in and lovely lie ins. We loved the location - having a paddock to use was a real plus, where Albus could also meet up with other friendly dogs staying and play with his ball. So rural that during our stay the potato crop was being harvested which was very cool. Fab walks from the door and lovely places to eat too. We enjoyed a w...more
The cottage is beautiful, comfortable and the perfect size for us and our labrador. Our hosts Paul & Stella were very friendly and on hand if we needed them yet unobtrusive. Our pup celebrated his 1st birthday while we were there and he had a blast on the beach (his first holiday), Paul & Stella even kindly gave him a birthday present. He loved the private dog paddock and made friends with some lovely dogs who were staying in The Walnut. Our pup loved the beaches at Walcott, Happisburgh, Cart Gap and Waxham, although he wasn't so sure about the sea. We had adventures on the North Norfolk Railw...more
1 Paynes Cottage is delightful. It has been sensitively renovated retaining its original features combining with modern living . The welcome hamper was greatly appreciated as were the safe areas where our dog ‘Bertie’ could romp. The cottage had everything we needed during our five night stay although the Broadband/Wifi connection is very slow. The local pub, the Crown inn, was also very welcoming and produced well priced suppers with huge portions!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay Thank you
We had another wonderful stay at this property. Situated right behind the dunes you can be on the spectacular beach within a few minutes. The property itself is very comfortable and welcoming. Beds are super comfy and Caroline caters for everything you would need. Garden has a Mediterranean and peaceful aura especially at night when the lights come on. Our furry ones love it here and 100% we will be back. Very relaxing.
If you're looking for a beautiful spot to take your four-legged friend, this is it! The location is gorgeous, but what really set this place apart was how fantastic it was for the dog. It meant we could all relax. Plus, the hot tub was amazing! A perfect, hassle-free holiday in a stunning location
Our second visit to Manor Barn and it did not disappoint. Why is it so great?! For the humans: Comfy Beds, soft towels, cosy dressing gowns, amazing deep baths and good shower, log fire, well equipped kitchen, total relaxation. Stunning flowers and welcome basket on arrival. Beautifully decorated. For the dogs: Dog beds, throws and blankets. Spare leads, towels, poo bags and bowls. Welcome everywhere in the barn. Two sections of garden, the courtyard and the grassy orchard. Near to lots of beaches and walks. Completely safe. Log fire also a bonus here!
We had a great week, the cottage was very clean and a nice welcome pack to greet us on arrival. This was our second visit to the cottage, we wouldn’t hesitate to return. Great cottage and location.
Great place especially for my dogs who don't do beach so the enclosed paddock is ideal. We would have preferred a walk in shower instead of the climbing into a bath as we are not youngsters. Overall a great place.
A fabulous place to stay. The owners have thought of everything to ensure your dog has a wonderful time. Great communication in advance of the stay, including sample itineraries and checking dietary requirements for the welcome pack. The welcome pack was outstanding, so thoughtful. The owners were friendly and welcoming. Attention to detail outstanding. The dog friendly enclosed areas were much appreciated. The patio was a great place to relax after a busy day sight seeing.
We have thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Dormy again. It is in the most perfect location for the beach and provides all the home comforts that any human or dog could wish for.
Just returned from a fabulous stay at the Salty Sea Dog . The location is beautiful right by a sandy beach that goes on for miles !! The accommodation was clean and extremely comfortable. Everything I needed was there. The host had thought of everything even left presents for my 2 x Pugs 4th Birthday!!! As an extra I booked beauty treatments with Total Tranquility . Highly recommended and less than 10 minutes drive away .Sonya was amazing and I came away so relaxed .
This is our second visit to this lovely cottage beautifully presented from the moment you arrive the field for the dogs to run in is ideal. Everything has been thought of it’s definitely luxury to a high standard. The welcome hamper for us & our 5 dogs was a lovely touch even included a birthday cake & card. The owners are onsite & are friendly & helpful. The cottage is ideally situated for the beach, wooded walks. Stalham is a couple of miles away which has a supermarket, fish & chip shop & other takeaways also a vet which we have had to use. This accommodation is 1st class!
Eccles is not for everyone but we have been numerous times, although this is our first time at Sand-drift. The welcome pack left by Lesley & Jim was super, including a birthday card and bubbly. The cottage is quaint but was lovely and cosy for us and our 2 dogs. Front and back gardens were fully enclosed with parking for 4 cars. The living area was open plan with a Beautiful kitchen. The beds were all comfortable with lots of pillows to suit everyone. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Sand-Drift and would definitely stay again.
What’s not to love. We love Winterton, it just has everything and it has Ruby Gem. Parking, blackout blinds, motion sensor lights just add to what makes this property a real ‘Ruby’. See you next year.
We loved our stay in White Cottage. We were so fortunate with the weather. The welcome pack was great and the dogs loved their treats. The garden is massive and well maintained. A big hit with the dogs. Louise, the owner, has thought of everything to make our stay perfect. The cottage is well furnished, lovely comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and we loved the artwork and interesting trinkets. The sun room and conservatory are ideal places to relax after a busy day. We relaxed from the minute we got there. It was a great base to visit so many places, some of our favourites being Bacton Woods, ...more
Our second time at Hidden Gem, and again had a wonderful stay. A few minutes from the beach, our dogs loved the walks across the dunes. We will be back.
Our yearly Family getaway built around our dogs, one extra this year so up to 7 now. It has always been difficult to find somewhere that allows more than 4, but not now! Over the previous few years we have stayed in various areas of Wales and the Lake District in some pretty spectacular accommodation but none come close to Bristows Barn. Best yet by a distance and was equipped with everything that was required and more and we will definitely return as Norfolk has so much more for us to see. Stephen, your property is amazing and the area it is set in is lovely also.
Comprehensive welcome information. Immaculately clean. Massive useful welcome pack. Comfy bed. Soft lovely smelling towels. Gorgeous garden with different seating areas. Garden 100% dog proof & well lit. Lovely walks right from the door. Felt really homely. Supermarket conveniently located. that will deliver. Local pub (The Bluebell) very welcoming with delicious home cooked meals. Shall definitely return!!
We really enjoyed our family break in Bishy Barnabee. Mark and Helen were kind enough to allow our Son plus his family and also our friends to join ourselves, and our daughter and family to join us on the Saturday. The supply of the crate for one of our dogs that had a cruciate ligament op on the Monday before our stay was very much appreciated. The grand children want to come again. You know when that happens it’s been an enjoyable stay
This was our first time at The Crib, and what lovely accomodation it was. Very well kitted out for ourselves and our seven dogs. This has to be the most dog friendly accomodation that we have stayed in and we have stayed in a few. A lovely garden for the dogs to play in and to chase the odd squirrel that dared to appear.
Really beautiful bungalow we had a comfortable stay and everything we needed, hot tub was lovely. However we did not like Scratby at all, very disappointing and not at all our cup of tea, think we have been too spoilt in the past staying at lovely Winterton on sea just up the road, but Scratby is worlds apart and we would definitely not choose to go there again unfortunately. Can’t fault Easton Rushton cottages though, always great to deal with and the best at being dog friendly! Was a bit worried about keeping the noise of our dogs down as reactive dog next door to this bungalow too whi...more
We had a lovely stay in this pretty and well equipped dog-friendly property. The owner was very friendly and helpful. We managed to time our arrival with Storm Amy blowing in, and were delighted that she had ensured the accommodation was toasty warm. Being Norfolk, the sun magically managed to put in an appearance each day. The stunning sandy beach was within walking distance, as was Happisburgh’s iconic lighthouse.
We had a fantastic time here, will definitely be back. Beautiful house and they couldn’t have done more. Especially as we had massive problems at the end of the holiday. The welcome pack for people and dogs was amazing.
Recently come home from a great week at Corner Cottage. What a great find this place was !close to beaches, woods .Perfect for us and our dogs . Welcoming ,clean and practical the owners have thought of everything we may have needed. Peaceful surroundings .Close to the Lessingham Star where we had 2 great meals. Owner was very helpful and communicated well to make us feel welcome . . I am sure we will book this cottage again . Thank you Claudia and East Ruston Cottages .
We use East Ruston Cottages for accomodation in Norfolk as their places are always very dog friendly, and Beachcomber has all a dog might need: bowls, rugs, wiping cloths/towels, poo bags and some lovely treats. Beachcomber has beds for 5 people, a large bathroom with bath and shower, and a downstairs toilet. The kitchen diner is a good size, the lounge might be a bit snug for 5. Parking for 1 car on the drive. The garden is not very big and has paving slabs and gravel, no grass, but who needs grass when the vast dunes are just round the corner A few minutes walk and you can be on the beach, ...more
We really enjoyed our stay at Rose Cottage. Location could not be better with the beach just a few steps away. Our four dogs absolutely loved racing along the sand and running in and out of the sea. Cottage itself is very well equipped and comfortably furnished. The thoughtfully provided "welcome pack" was extremely generous and much appreciated after a 7.5 hour car journey! Local amenities are good, and fish and chips from the nearby Kingfisher Fish Bar very tasty.
We loved our stay here. First of all, the cottage is spacious! We came with our 2 German Shepherd dogs and there was plenty of room to move around. The garden was lovely to sit in and enjoy a glass of wine in the evening sunshine. Highly recommend the bakery down the road. The beach is super close which makes for some lovely walks, we visited good old Yarmouth only a short drive away and also Winterton-on-sea which is super pretty. We loved Brigg cottage and would stay again!
We had a lovely few days at Seaview. It was so nice to be able to walk to the beach, then along the coast to the the local shop & cafe. The cottage was really comfortable and well equipped the outside dog shower was extremely handy! Leonie was wonderful and left us a lovely homemade cake and a birthday banner for my husband’s birthday. The information pack gave us details of the dog friendly places to eat and things to do which we all found very helpful.
The holiday home that really is home from home and a bit more. a lovely location quiet and private. Super garden for dogs of any size. Rooster Barn has everything you could possibly need, even an Alexa machine! Cannot wait for our holiday there next year.
Beautiful. Only problem for us was the stairs. We both have problems with our legs. But was a fantastic place.
Skylark is a well equipped compact little chalion the Winterton Estate by miles of sandy beach. We were sent loads of info that turned out to be for the whole region so had to be dug through to find out what was actually local. At last minute chose to pack our own bedding on discovering that dog friendly did not include the bed. Lovely week with lots of walks on the beach spotting the seals. Curious to see other chalets for hire and sale on the site. Then discovered we could have booked directly with Winterton for a similar chalet, but with WiFi and a sea view, for £74 less than we had p...more
We had a lovely long weekend staying at Swallowdale. The accommodation was exactly what we required with the access to the garden from one of the bedrooms. An amazing Welcome Pack was left for us. The cottage was in a good quiet area but close enough to all the various beaches to walk our dogs on.
Perfect holiday. Gorgeous cottage, welcome hamper, great location and could walk to the beach from the door, perfect!
Really enjoyed our week at this beautifully renovated cottage. Walking the dogs by the marina was a treat for them and us. Local beaches in easy reach by car and many were almost empty and dog friendly. A perfect location for a week away in early autumn
A fantastic week in our happy place. Every detail and more is thought of for you and your dogs . We have a reactive rescue that completely relaxes and chills here . Sue and her team are amazing and we would not stay with anyone other than East Ruston Cottages Already booked for next year . Counting the days to our next holiday.
Great place, quiet and clean, dogs loved the garden and luckily ignored the bird scarer. Good location
Had a much needed 5 day break in East Cottage, Walnut Farm, Waxham. It was everything we hoped for. We have an exempt XL Bully and the secure high-fenced (landscaped for us and him) gave us great peace of mind to let him have freedom in the garden. Walks to the beach mapped out on a little welcoming postcard along with walks around the farm. Everywhere was very clean and extremely ‘home from home’ . The Welcoming pack was well-received and enjoyed! If our dog could talk he would say that the owners had definitely thought of his needs too, toys, bowls, treats, lounge rugs and great garden/groun...more
We enjoyed our stay at Farthing Cottage, it was suitable for our dog and the garden was very secure. Trunch is a good central location, we visited some lovely sandy beaches, found some fabulous local pubs and hired a boat for the day on the Broads.
We had a delightful long weekend at Badger's Retreat. We had rain and sun in equal measure but were able to enjoy the peace and quiet of the garden and surrounding area. The road going past it has about one car a day. The Weavers Way is 5 minutes walk away and the beautiful beaches a short drive away. We walked to the Swan in Stalham which was very good and also went to Smallsticks and Poppylands cafes which were excellent. When it rained it was cosy to sit and read in the conservatory. The cottage is very comfortable and well equipped. The fully enclosed garden was enjoyed by my spaniel too. ...more
Lovely cottage and perfect quiet location. Stayed with our 2 dogs and loved the location with walks on the doorstep and dog friendly beaches a close drive.
The cottage is lovely and thoughtfully decorated and but even though it is big we did find it difficult to find space to put too large crates next to each other which ended up in the already quite small kitchen. There were also some stains on the lounge and main bedroom carpet which were a bit yuk. We spent quite a long time trying to log onto the wifi which we later found out from the owner wasnt working so we mostly used our personal data to access the internet and operate the television and my husband had to buy additional data for this purposes. On the upside the dogs loved the garden a...more
The house is great and the garden is so spacious and perfect for dogs due to being fenced in all the way.
Lovely peaceful cottage, great location. East Cottage has a beautiful large garden both hoomins & dogs enjoyed. It was lovely to listen to the birds in the garden first thing in the morning. The hot tub was amazing & we had perfect weather with only 1/2 days rain. The beds were incredibly comfortable & we all had a great nights sleep.
Nala and all of us enjoyed the stay at Pollywiggle . the exercise field and riverside walk were excellent with some lovely beaches near by . If we may make a sugestion you could provide more kitchen utensils i.e. whisk , slotted spoon , egg cups and more microwaveable dishes , but thank you for our wonderfull stay.
Sunny cottage is very well equipped with many thoughtful touches, and in a peaceful location in Southrepps. The beds were very comfortable and fitted with French linen, bathrooms beautifully appointed with very good quality towels provided. Our dog was also very well catered for. Easy walking distance to a pub in the village where we ate a good meal one evening. The stairs to the 2 bedrooms are steep with narrow treads and wouldn’t be suitable for anyone with reduced mobility and we didn’t realise when we booked that you couldn’t park a car at the cottage which wasn’t easy to find down a narro...more
