A Lovely decorated property in immaculate condition with a very modern spacious interior, all mod cons at hand. The location worked very well for us, being on a major bus route meant we didn't need to use the car much. Loved it would definitely book the house again
Wow, what a beautiful home. Tasteful, spacious and perfectly located in the best place in the area - Brixham. Short walk into town and shorter walk to a couple of beautiful coves along the coastal path. Berry head also walkable and stunning. It is hilly like most of the area so the local walking will get you fit! Places we walked to further afield - Greenways, holiday home of Agatha Christie which was fascinating as well as stunning location. Absolutely loved Glenmay. Plenty of room, extremely clean, very comfortable. Loved all the plants both inside and outside. The decor was spot on. The location was perfect for us. Six minutes walk to Broadsands and less than 10 minutes drive to a dog friendly beach. Lots to do around and about. Would definitely recommend.
A fantastic cottage in a gorgeous area. Very well equipped and cosy, hosts lovely and helpful . The welcome basket was a lovely touch. Will definitely return. My only request would be for some sort of sign by the entrance, as I drove past a few times. But this is a minor issue. Would definitely recommend.
We booked this bungalow because it was close to Greenway, which we wanted to visit for me and my sister's birthday. It was very neat and clean, and dog friendly, which we wanted so my son could bring his dog.
We stayed in Little Greenway many years ago and had such a good time we decided to return after a break of a few years, the refurbishment is superb, very high quality, and has made this a delightful chalet to stay in. We had such a relaxing much needed break, we hope to return .
I was surprisingly impressed with The Cottage. It is nicely decorated and well equipped for a self-catering holiday. Location was close to beaches and tourist attractions, and some lovely walks, ideal for dog walking.
Alison and Katie could not be more welcoming and accommodating. The bungalow is very well equipped and cosy, with easy to follow instructions for operating everything. It is well-located for access to all that Devon has to offer, with some terrific NT locations nearby. We and our dogs had a wonderful week and hope to return for another super holiday in the future.
We keep coming back for more, which says it all really! Already booked for next year too. If you want an idyllic, peace and quiet type of getaway location, this is it. Bungalow is always spotless and well presented. Everything you could wish for, in a self-catering holiday, is thoughtfully provided. Run by an excellent and caring team. Love it!
Lovely quite site perfect for exploring this beautiful area of Devon. Accommodation was very clean and we loved the garden area
Wonderful place, comfy beds, hot tub was great especially on the chiller nights, log fire making it feel warm and cosy, games room well equipped, pool table, dart board, table tennis, massive TV,, tout side the lodge you have crazy golf course, the grounds to the property nice and tidy, the whole place is beautiful, short drive to local town machynlleth another pretty place, well worth holiday stay.
Perfect holiday chalet for 3 people and a dog. Very cosy and welcoming. Any moisture (behind sink, in bathroom) wasnt really a problem. Facilities were brilliant (better than our home!). Location is my childhood home and near my elderly mum for visiting. Sea and river nearby; butcher provided Christmas turkey!
We have stayed in 4 other bungalows on this park over the years, and whilst we loved the quiet and position of this bungalow, at the top of the park, there were several things missing. One is an oven (but understand German owners are to put 1 in) and for me, a heated towel rail in bathroom. Would stay here again

We had a lovely 9 night stay at Greenway,(weather was great!) Greenway was spotlessly clean and well equipped, ( a dishwasher would be a great addition)beautiful garden which Nancy our dog,enjoyed. Katie at Coast and Holiday cottages was extremely helpful when extending our stay,many thanks Katie! We hope to visit Greenway again soon,and would definitely recommend to our friends and family ( we already have!)
Galmpton is a perfect base for us and Plain Sailing has everything you need to make your stay comfortable. Very well equipped in a quiet location
On arrival the Castaway was exceptionally clean and tidy. Clear instructions on how appliances worked and free WiFi. There was a little hamper waiting for us with some treats and even a selection Box for my daughter and she really loved the the little touch of the twinkly lights added to the windows. The bungalow was so warm and cosy with such a beautiful view of the river. So calm and peaceful. Can clearly see that Castaway is well looked after. It really made our new year break away. Will definitely be booking again and recommending.
A lovely week in a very clean and well maintained bungalow. The site is also very clean and well laid out. Especially liked the fenced area at the front which was ideal for our dogs. A really nice sense of community as well, everyone friendly welcoming. We have already booked another week in October!
What can I say, after staying at Captains Rest, our expectations of what holiday accommodation should be has increased dramatically. The apartment was picture perfect, it was as though we had stepped through my phone straight into the photos. The apartment was immaculately clean, comfortable and literally yards away from the harbour. Our hosts were very helpful from the word go, we had all information we needed to get to the property and gain entry, we even had a message to say when the accommodation was ready for us enter. Perfect short holiday stay location. Bungalow very cold but in the summer will be lovely with super views. For longer stays it would not be recommended and had to purchase a WiFi broadband box as that supplied is for basic occasional use only. However again stress we was not on holiday. The owner and the site manager went over and above to help us. Thank you

Stayed for a long weekend what a place Had everything you could want for . The sunrise in the morning was something else . Games room with bar sky tv with all the sport Snooker table . Will definitely be back
We have holidayed in this chalet over the last eight years and that says it all .From booking with Katie to the presentation of the chalet's cleanliness on arrival is absolutely top class .The site is well looked after in its surroundings both garden and grass and ample parking very near to your chalet .It suits us ,being of more mature years ,very well as it is a a good jumping off point to Paignton and Brixham also Dartmouth ,but you do need to be motorised as you are not on a main bus route . All in all and good health we shall return next year
We enjoyed our stay. The location was very central. The cottage had everything we needed. The allocated parking space was quite challenging but the virtual parking permit meant that this wouldn’t be an issue as you could use the public parking lots instead.
