Once again we had a wonderful time at Flowery Dell. We always pick Hazel lodge because of its unique location. We will be returning next year with our two jack russells girls. There love the rabbits and the walks round the park. Thanks again for letting us stay.
This was our 2nd stay at Flowery Dell after a 20yr gap. The site and accommodation are fabulous and are located in a great area for those that love the outdoors. We had a great 3 night stay and will no doubt return. Faultless.
Lovely stay ..clean and comfortable only wish we could have checked out but later 11.30 am 12 maybe as check in after 3pm ..really enjoyed our stay will b back again
We have been returning to Flowery Dell now for approx twenty years so they are definitely doing something right! We love the location and the woodland and fields for our little dog to exercise in. The lodges are comfortable, clean and spacious and every little thing is thought about with care, even a Xmas tree to greet us this time! The staff are friendly and helpful without being intrusive and it's our go to for relaxation and destress.
I’ve been coming to Flowery Dell for over 17 years. It’s a beautiful location and you feel transported into nature and feel miles from anywhere. Beautiful Richmond is minutes away and very easy to walk to. It’s a great base for exploring all the market towns and York is only an hour away by car. The lodges are well maintained, spacious and full of home comforts. Highly recommend especially if you are a dog owner, dogs are so well catered for in the lodges and the surrounding areas.
I have been coming to these lodges for quite a few years now . Have been to others but this is my go to place all the time . It’s so peaceful, a perfect getaway. Lodges are immaculate and customer service always consistent and 100% . The lodges are in a perfect spot , near to everything but lovely and quiet where they are . The best of both worlds. I booked to take my daughter for her 13th birthday the lodge was immaculate the beds are comfy very relaxing and lovely views. Customer service was brilliant. Would definitely return.
We had a fabulous long weekend for our November birthdays.The cabin with its hot tub, sauna and log burner is perfect for a special occasion or luxury short break. Everything you could need is provided. The grounds are beautiful. We had a very tame Robin tapping on the window, a hedgehog under the cabin and even saw a deer on the morning we left. We love dinning outdoors so after visiting Mainsgill Farmshop we even made use of the BBQ! Can’t wait to return for our anniversary.
We had another lovely break at flowery dell the doggies little getaway from the fireworks. As always the place was clean and tidy. Everything we needed was there. A few little niggles. The hot tub light wasn't working. The shower leaks from the bottom of the door and us a very tight space. The TV and sofa set out could be better as you can only see the TV if u sit in the sofa in front of the TV. A gate on the outside of the property to stop the dogs getting out when the door is opened would be great. We had an excellent week recharging our batteries at Flowery Dell. Wild Cherry lodge has everything that you need for a home-away-from-home experience.
Been here a couple of times before and it doesn't disappoint. Very quiet pleasant place to stay noone bothers you unless you need them and the log cabins are well kept and clean . The dog loved all the outdoor space too.
Our stay was truly wonderful and exceeded all our expectations. The cottage itself is beautiful, incredibly well-maintained, and spotlessly clean. It felt like a home away from home, providing the perfect blend of rustic charm and modern comfort. The location is stunningly peaceful and offered us the relaxing break we desperately needed. Everything from the comfortable bed to the well-equipped kitchen was excellent. THANK YOU SO MUCH! We definitely come back. Highly recommended!
It's our happy place - peaceful, relaxing and cosy! The best place to escape the fireworks! There is so many walks on your doorstep and the views are incredible! Already booked to go back next year!
A very enjoyable stay with some lovely weather. The lodge was in a nice location and very well maintained. The only problem was with the bathroom and en-suite shower they were both very tight for us with limited mobility. We appreciated the disability pack but that just took up extra room. We loved the area and seeing all the wildlife e.g. rabbits around.
I was genuinely surprised by the vibe I got the moment I stepped into my lodge for the first time. It honestly felt like walking into my own living room — cosy, familiar, and instantly relaxing. The Christmas tree was up, the TV had all the channels ready to go, and the kitchen was the kind you could happily spend hours in. With Richmond only a five-minute drive away, and easy access to the rest of the Yorkshire Dales, I could genuinely picture myself spending a full week here without running out of things to do. We have just enjoyed a wonderful weekend with family to celebrate my big birthday in Wild rose lodge at Flowery dell. The lodge was warm & cosy & had a kitchen & dining area with everything we needed to prepare a full meal or snacks. There was a modern smart tv & lots of board games. The firm favourite was the large outdoor hot tub which was well used by all the family. We’ll definitely be back
