We have been to this location for approx 5 years in a row and will be returning next year. This year was made extra special by the arrival of snow. Which made it more of a tranquil environment.
Our group had a an absolutely wonderful time! The location was great, as were the amenities at the place!
We stayed at Westhope Country Retreats as a large group as we were visiting from Cumbria for our daughters wedding. All the accommodation was booked by family and friends and we stayed in Troopers Barn. We had the most fantastic weekend, the accommodation was excellent, very spacious, clean, comfortable and inviting. The large lounge/dining room worked really well for a large group get together. The homemade cake, bottle of wine and bar of chocolate was such a lovely touch to welcome us on the Friday. A lovely stay for 4 of us and the dog, great amenities, comfortable, homely and cosy with a hot tub each night, even in the rain. We enjoyed the games room and even burnt some calories in the gym! Great walks from the front door and a trip in the car for lunch out and a walk around Ludlow - thanks so much, we will recommend and be back

Great customer service before we even arrived, emails with clear directions, a list of exactly what the cottage was equipped with to expect and a video about how to use hot tub. Day before arrival courtesy phone call to check if we had any questions or additional needs not already covered all of which was very reassuring we were going to have a smooth arrival. Once arrived we had a great stay in a beautifully presented, clean and well equipped cottage.
