Our stay was lovely and the property is more than you could ask for . Everything you need in the property we even had shopping delivered . The only disappointment was the location as I have two dogs and there are lanes after lanes and they are very narrow and you have to watch for cars . The hot tub was lovely but I think the shrubs could have been cut back as it was quite untidy . All in all we had a lovely few days .

We’ve been staying at Westhope Country Retreats for years as we have family nearby. It is a truly wonderful place; welcoming, family and pet friendly, professional and beautiful. The houses are always well-presented and well equipped, the beds are comfortable, there’s lots of lovely hot water and all the rooms are a perfect temperature. The whole team who run the place are always friendly, and accommodating whenever they can be. We loved our stay at the Turnip House, the accommodation is really spacious and comfortable with everything you could need. The location is very hidden away and rural, great for escaping the world. Would definitely stay again
Thank you for our very comfortable and relaxing weekend in your barn. The barn provided excellent social spaces for larger groups with a fabulous lounge area and beautiful garden. We really enjoyed the hot tub and completing one of your suggested local walks. Would really recommend!
The house was lovely, really clean and comfortable. Just a few little things would have really made a difference. There were a lot of midges about so some citronella candles would have been a great touch for outside so we could enjoy the jacuzzi a bit more. The games room was great but did need air con or fans as it got a bit warm. Also the water pressure in the showers was very low. The cd player didn’t work. These are just little things and seems picky but would make a big difference. The check in and check out times are also a bit harsh. It means you only really get one full day and an even...more
