Beautiful cottage , fantastic welcome hamper . Spacious comfortable beds.. lovely lounge with open fire , very nice added space to kitchen looking out to garden .just a better price for November .. Would recommend to all

Heritage Escapes is in the perfect position for a trip to the Yorkshire Coast. Go towards the model village at Sewerby and you will find a large car park , not the model village one! It is a pay and display car park but you can stay all day. You are then on Sewerby Head a delightful grassed Headland with a tarmac path where you can catch the small land train, when in season! Wholeheartedly recommend this wonderful property on a farm with several other holiday cottages. Great space for a family of four plus dog, we loved the open fire and the overall standard was excellent with plenty to do in local area. Coast is amazing with trips to Flamborough beaches and Scarborough - best fish & chips we’ve had in ages (Lifeboat Fish Bar)! Bondsville model village in Sewerby takes you back to holidays of old and lovely hot chocolate in tea room. Owners friendly and very helpful when had a problem with EV charging, thanks for a super relaxing holiday.
This was our second visit to the Spinney and was just as beautiful as we remembered it. Great welcome hamper of local produce, and well stocked things like washing up liquid etc.
Ideal location right in the city centre with parking. Once we had arrived we did not need to use the car at all to access everything York has to offer. The apartment itself has everything needed for a comfortable stay, with modern fixtures and fittings.
We had a great short stay at Ostler’s Corner. Convenient location for visiting Bempton Cliffs, Flamborough, Bridlington and Sewerby. Comfortable and cosy.
Good to be back our second visit to the Roost. Perfect in every way we had beautiful weather each day And It was so nice to see everyone once again thanking you all.
Another lovely stay at the Turnip House. The cottage is spacious for two people and is finished to a high quality, Definitely recommend this property for two,people. It is in a good location for exploring the surrounding coastline.
As a returner to Heritage Escapes FHF we can only reiterate what we’ve said previously. We stayed in The Byre for the first time this time and had a thoroughly enjoyable break. We slept better than we do at home in the incredibly comfortable bed, with great pillows. I never seem to get it right at home regardless of how much I spend on pillows. All the cottages we’ve stayed in, across the two sites, have been beautifully furnished, spotlessly clean, a real home from home and if there is ever an issue the HE team are quick to sort it. A very comfortable apartment a stones throw from York Minster, yet tucked away in a quiet back street. The apartment had all that we needed and everything done to the very high standard that we've come to expect, after visiting other Heritage Escapes properties. Secure parking was a great bonus in this busy city - we didn't need to move our car for the duration of our stay.
We have spent many enjoyable Christmas breaks with John,Angela and James, watching the wildlife. This time seeing the owls searching the paddock for food, and then three deer grazing in the paddock. The under floor heating makes for a very comfortable stay
Been to this collection of holiday cottages before. Always very pleased with the accommodation and the host.
