Perfect accommodation with disabled child and a dog. Cleanliness of the accommodation and having equipment for disabled was brilliant. Only downside was a bit of a struggle with the wheelchair in the area.
We've booked this place for a family Christmas that includes a wheelchair user and several neuro-diverse members but my husband I wanted a short 'preview' stay so that we could have a clear idea of what to bring to ensure everyone's comfort and happiness. We were very impressed by the overall spaciousness of the the place, especially doorways and corridors. The 2 accessible bedrooms, wet room and downstairs toilets look great - but the real test will be when we bring our wheelchair user at Christmas. Overall everything was brilliant and we had a cosy and comfy few days. It's by far the best ...more
Perfect accommodation with everything you could need for a holiday with a family member who is a wheelchair user. Location was great with days out in St Andrews, Dundee, Edinburgh and more local for Craigtoun country park and walks to the local farm shop for lunch. It was our 3rd stay and we’ll definitely be back again!
Even though we visited in November our stay was very comfortable and pleasant . The facilities are just amazing which makes it possible just to relax and enjoy the stay . Think it is great value for money for facilities and the no of bedrooms .
Excellent accommodation. Shower commode was short on length of seat and leg rest required attention tightening nuts
Wonderful location with lovely view over the golf course to the sea. Massney is 10 years old and beginning to show its age, but comfortable and well equipped. Very spacious, bright accommodation. Loved the pulley in the utility room! Minor issues were quickly dealt with by the very friendly and helpful staff on duty. Tasty soup and home baking lunch in the Paxton Centre was a treat. We find Lundin Links a good centre to explore the Fife coastal area from and this small town is well served with the necessities for the self catering break.
We found the Kiel to be very clean and tidy. The location is very quiet and you would not know that these buildings even existed from the road. The facilities are well laid out and very easy to access. With free Wi-Fi and a roku box keeping entertained is easy and with jigsaws etc in the room lots to do if you don’t want to go out. Local cafes and shops are within an easy drive along the coast. I would recommend these houses for a holiday
This was my 25th stay at Homelands in 10 years. It’s the best in UK according to Euan MacDonald of Euan’s Guide and I have to agree. We’ve stayed at a lot of similar places but Homelands has ALL I need. We are back at again Xmas. I love that all the equipment is provided - and I don’t get charged extra. The H-frame ceiling hoist is my favourite as it is so much easier for my carers. The space is amazing. It’s HUGE and I like the open plan - no doorways to scrape! Staff members, Helen, Martina and Trinity, were extremely helpful.
My stay at cardi lodge was just amazing I could not fault anything there was nothing they didn’t have it was so peaceful and we as a family managed to have so much family time with fun laughter and making memories which we don’t do a lot of on a day to day basis due to everyday things in life I didn’t want to leave as I felt I was in total heaven the bairn had a ball he was able to go to the park and play go walks and find lots of things to do without others not being nice to him I would definitely recommend anyone who like myself needs a break then homelands is the place to be us as a family ...more
