We had a great and memorable time at Homelands. We enjoyed our stay especially the calm and welcoming atmosphere. The house was met in a very clean state, well arranged and everything we needed were available. Our service user was settled and relaxed throughout the stay. She slept well and was calm. All equipment available for her were excellent. Homelands is indeed a lovely place.
Very spacious property, which catered to all accessibility needs. Super clean set in lovely grounds. Exceptionally quite. Very easy to get around with wheelchair as doors were 1.2m wide throughout the downstairs.
We had a lovely stay in Largo. The lodge was refreshingly spacious, warm and very well equipped. Extra wide doors, large wet-room and tracking hoists. It had a well-proportioned utility room, it was ideal as we had 2 young children. Beds and bedrooms were more than adequate and comfortable. There was a very large accessible wetroom and a separate toilet room downstairs. The toilet room would have benefited from a sink that an adult wheelchair user could get their knees under as they could not get close enough to the sink to wash as it was too low. Only one safety issue - if you hav...more
Some of my family members stayed in Emsdorf Lodge and were delighted with the standard of accommodation. My parents’ feedback is they would like a large clock on the wall of the kitchen/living area to help them remember medication times. And they said they loved the space in the bathroom but didn’t like that the door opened so that anyone in the living area could see into the bathroom. (This is because my dad goes in and out of the bathroom to help my mum.) The location was perfect to be able to drive my parents along the coast and them to reminisce about holidays they spent there in the ...more
We loved our stay at Lundin Lodge and it was a great opportunity for our extended family to enjoy a holiday together. The location and specification are excellent and it was refreshing to be able to take our son away with us and find access so easy and all our equipment needs catered for allowing us to relax a bit! It would have been ideal to have had one of the downstairs bedrooms linked directly to the bathroom by tracking hoist to save an extra transfer or hauling the shower trolley through. In future we would ask to have only his profiling bed in the room (and 2 standard singles in the ...more
A bright modern and comfortable lodge, which is very well equipped. There was nothing that we could need that hadn’t been provided. The people are very friendly and helpful. We love that we can take the dogs. There is an EV charging port on each lodge, which takes the worry out of having to find charge stations and waiting around for the vehicle to charge. The only problem that we encountered was that the bedroom thermostat was stuck on 22c which was too hot for us. I am sure that they will get this resolved as everything else is well maintained. This was our second visit and we will definitel...more
We have been holidaying at Homelands Trust Lundin Links for a number of years now. It provides my son with everything he needs to feel safe and secure within the properties and therefore be able to relax and enjoy a short break away from home. Each home is finished to extremely high standards and has everything that you would need for a home from home holiday.
We really enjoyed our trip to Homelands. For my first trip away as a wheelchair user, I was extremely impressed with all the adaptations and the feel Not at all clinical! Any other accommodation will not match this! We will definitely be back.
Lodge was in a great location and within a short drive to neighbouring towns. Lodge was 1st class with everything we required. Very roomy and comfortable. Spotless! Good value! Utility room with pulley was a bonus. Well be back! Also balcony in main bedroom upstairs will be a fabulous feature in Summer. Only criticism is that a blind would be beneficial on inside or main door at entrance to ensure privacy.
