Fantastic stay at Garden Cottage. Cottage was perfect, great space for the dogs, hot tub was fabulous. Loads of lovely walks for the dogs which kept them happy! Fine dining delivered meals were superb. Had relaxing massages. Just fab. Would 100% recommend and return!
We recently enjoyed a short break at Pheasant Walk cottage on the Eaton Manor Estate. The cottage was beautifully set up with a wonderful view over the Shropshire countryside. We could not fault the facilities on offer although, as the estate is quite large, the distances between our cottage and some of them was larger than we expected. The Estate is tucked away from the main roads so I would really recommend a car although there are several excellent walks directly from the cottage. Nearby Church Stretton has some good pub food and it is a great place to holiday with your dog like we did! We ...more
We first visited The Manor House at Eaton Manor in 2007 for our 40th wedding anniversary. Since then we have been back 11 times! One of our sons just commented that it's like another home which we come to every summer. This year our family group ranged from 8 to 96 years. Eaton Manor is the perfect place for family groups. Our young ones have always found lots to do from bug hunts, bird watching, wildlife watching and (trying) to catch crayfish. They love the pool and the games room too. This year we were thrilled that Peter (at 96 and with limited mobility and sight) was able to participate i...more
Our group had a lovely stay at Toad Hall, our second visit to Eaton Manor. It was very well equipped, spacious and is a very good location for both walking and National Trust/English Heritage visits.
We stayed at Pendennis (9 adults, 1 child and 2 toddlers) to celebrate a family birthday. It was perfect. Beautiful location, easy to find, excellent facilities (the play barn was great!) and plenty of room for everyone. We had an hour in the swimming pool too which was lovely.
The owners called round to check everything was okay and a nice touch was the milk and apple juice provided. Highly recommended!
Wonderful from start to finish. Lots of helpful info provided before our stay, house was lovely when we arrived, very clean and with some milk etc provided.
Very well-equipped, not often you stay somewhere with decent cookware and plenty of crockery. Beds really comfortable.
Lovely garden, ideal if you have a dog as all secure, plenty of outside space. Staff very helpful if you need anything.
Grounds are beautiful, teenagers loved the pool and games room, and a perfect location with lovely walks/runs and places to visit in easy reach.
We had a lovely relaxing time at Eaton Manor. The property was spotless and provided everything we needed. Staff were helpful and friendly when contacted. We liked the pool and used the games facilities which was fun. It was a good base for exploring the the beautiful nearby towns, scenery and walks.
Had a wonderful 4 night break at Eaton Lodge where dogs are made especially welcome rather than just tolerated. Just myself, husband and our dog we did 5 out of the 6 walks and we only missed one as it was a shortened version of the railway walk. Saw deer, buzzards, a hare and a heron whilst out walking. We had beautiful weather so we made use of the facilities and played croquet and used the swimming pool. We also tried out the games barn and played pool as lovely as the snooker table was it would have been a much longer game. Also tried table tennis, table football and air hockey. I had a re...more
