We had a lovely short break at Eaton Manor cottages. Pheasants Walk was perfect for two. It was very cosy, had everything we could possibly need and was spotless. Definitely worth a return visit.
It was nice to arrive with snow still on the ground as it makes it feel like Christmas and you know once you step inside the cottage it will be warm.
The butchers in Church Stretton always supplies us with some good meat.
Apart from visiting a few of our friends in the area we stayed in the cottage.
Had a lovely weekend with friends staying in the Manor House. Great location, excellent in-house meal from Oak Apple catering. Lovely walk in the Cardingmill Valley from Church Stretton. Superb service from Nichola and her team!
The Church Stretton area is very special to our family and we’ve been searching for a while for somewhere to stay whilst visiting. Well now we won’t be going anywhere else!!
This place is amazing- perfect for me, my five year old and my mum. Huge games room, so much nature to explore, swimming pool all to yourself, a nature trail for the children and all accompanied by your favourite canine companion. We all had the best time.
We all really enjoyed our weekend at Eaton Manor. Toad Hall had all the facilities promised and was well stocked with equipment to cook and prepare meals for 14. The extra items requested for the babies and disabled Mum made the weekend easier. The wheelchair won't push up and down the ramp because the wheels front and back are not parallel. As my nephew is a paramedic he managed the wheelchair, but not sure that everyone would.
It was unfortunate that the soft play area had bat droppings init half way through the day. However out was thoroughly cleaned immediately this issue was reported. Cl...more
A very well-equipped cottage with exceptional views, set well apart from other cottages on the estate yet close to the swimming pool, and very peaceful. The cottage is well-equipped, easy to use for our disabled daughters and much enjoyed by our more able grandchildren, who were also very taken with the games barn, croquet etc. The dog was happy too. There was a problem with the wi-fi while we were there and Nichola and her husband went to great lengths to resolve it quickly.
Wow what an amazing find our cottage was equipped with everything you could possibly need or want welcome milk, tea, coffee, sugar, dishwasher tablets, washing tablets, hand wash, washing up liquid, apple juice and biscuits to name a few
The dogs had a box waiting also with blankets, towels, bowls, a huge bag of biscuits and dog tags for them all to wear during their stay just incase they got a little lost! They provide a folder with great information for dog owners with dog friendly cafes and pubs too

Curlew cottage was occupied by the younger members of the family,
They were delighted with the property and it worked well for them to have their own space, as well as being able to join in with the whole group.
