The property is good value for money and very spacious. Perfect for a big group of family and friends to spend some time together. Also dog friendly with enough open spaces to walk your furry friends. We were a group of 8 adults,4 kids and 2 dogs and had booked 2 cottages next to each other. Both has hot tub and barbecue facilities which would have been perefect in summer. The friendly groundkeeper lives on site which was very handy- always available for our queries and just general chat. Hi, we just had 16 of us gather here for my daughter’s bridal shower. The girls all agreed that the beds were comfortable and it’s really quiet, even though there were other people staying, each section is very private and you can’t hear anything. It was perfect, it’s very well equipped, plenty of space and the added bonus of a hot tub. We also had the huge garden to play sports games on. It’s easy access to the centre of York. We were 21 in total and also had cottage 3. We would definitely stay again, it’s a great location

We were blown away with the amenities provided for our stay, Murton Grange is literally a home from home. As Maid of Honour, I was worried about venues and making it just right for my sister. For a hen weekend. The booking was directly thought the website. Was contacted straight away. Given all the conformation. The cottage was clean, modern and had exactly what we needed. The location was perfect. Costing approx £12 for a taxi into York.

We enjoyed a couple of days, relaxing near York. Great access to shopping and all of York. Well appointed accommodation, warm and cosy, felt safe and welcoming. Easy parking and access.
Hello, We booked this cottage for my Mam who has mobility issues. The layout is excellent and very spacious. The shower room is really big and has the added bonus of a shower chair to help make it easier. The kitchen is extremely well equipped and only 8 mins drive from Monks Cross. We also hired the Farmhouse next door as we were on a hen weekend. 15 mins to the centre of York and we would definitely recommend this property for a cosy stay.
