We had a wonderful 3 night stay at Murton Grange. Ben, the host, could not do enough for us and was very flexible with our requests. The hot tub was a great hit with the kids! We hardly left the property to tour around York as we were so comfortable. Highly recommended and we will return! Thank you!
I can’t recommend Murton Grange enough. The customer service and contact between the company was absolutely amazing. I asked for early check in to which they accommodated for and all I can say is my expectations of the house, area and cleanliness were exceeded. The pictures online really don’t do the house any justice. The garden areas are very well kept and I was truly impressed and so excited for my sister to see. Arrived at the property, very impressed with how spacious and clean everything was. Perfect for our weekend stay. My only issue whilst staying here, was how cold downstairs was, compared to upstairs, which was lovely and warm . Granted it was a cold weekend, but it’s not great when you get in and you can’t get warm ! Apart from that the accommodation was great !!
We stayed over 2 nights in 2 cottages (1 and 8) the location was perfect, the grounds were so clean and modern. The beds were so comfortable, even the bedding was so nice to sleep on. We were blown away with the amenities provided for our stay, Murton Grange is literally a home from home. As Maid of Honour, I was worried about venues and making it just right for my sister. We had 2 cottages between our party for new year/birthday. We were treated to complimentary cakes for new year which was a lovely gesture. Excellent high standard accommodation, very clean and modern. Heating took some getting right very warm at times. Located within easy access to York using park and ride and also a Toby carvery very close by for food.

We enjoyed a couple of days, relaxing near York. Great access to shopping and all of York. Well appointed accommodation, warm and cosy, felt safe and welcoming. Easy parking and access.
Excellent high quality cottage very clean with modern interiors. Good location, quiet surroundings close to the York attractions. Would certainly return.
