We had a wonderful 3 generational stay last week. The highlights for our grandsons were getting to feed the animals, getting muddy and wet in the mud kitchen area, which is beside a stream, and swimming everyday.
There are lots of activities near by and the surrounding roads are wide enough to drive comfortably.
We booked last minute for a 6 nights stay. Kizzie made contact almost immediately and everything was booked within the hour. The website is very informative but you also get a digital pack sent before your stay which is also very detailed. You really don't need to take anything other than clothes, food and swim towels the cottages are so well equipped. Lizzie gave us a lovely welcome, a wonderful hamper awaited us. The cottage was decorated for Xmas and the pool was a huge success with the children and adults.
Picturesque and beautiful location in the Devonshire countryside .
The fields and farm animals provided enchanting experiences for the children .
The private warm indoor heated pool entertained our family for hours .
The cottage was homely and comfortable.
Kingsweir , Dartmouth and Brixham and Paignton were all very close by , and the long beautiful beaches of the south coast were only a ferry ride away .
The coastal path offered opportunities to explore National Trust coves and beaches .
Everywhere was dog friendly .
We would definitely recommend this holiday.

said collecting the hens’ eggs was their favourite moment!) Lovage cottage is in a brilliant location to explore...more
