We have just returned from a week stay at Nethway farm. This was our second visit. We have two boys age four and six. The farm and cottages are perfect. The cottages are immaculate and there are lots of activities for the children. We love the games room and all of the outdoor space. Lizzie and Nathan are always on hand and are super friendly. We booked last minute for a 6 nights stay. Kizzie made contact almost immediately and everything was booked within the hour. The website is very informative but you also get a digital pack sent before your stay which is also very detailed. You really don't need to take anything other than clothes, food and swim towels the cottages are so well equipped. Lizzie gave us a lovely welcome, a wonderful hamper awaited us. The cottage was decorated for Xmas and the pool was a huge success with the children and adults.
We are just on our way back from a last minute 3 night winter break at the cottages and it was wonderful. TL/DR: If you’re thinking of booking just go ahead, so many great touches over and above what we’ve experienced before from holiday cottages, and the owners were so so welcoming and helpful. We are a family with 2 kids, 3 & 6 and a dog. We had Hyssop cottage which was very spacious, and incredibly well turned out. We had an amazing stay at Nethway. We have 4 young children and there was so much to do onsite for all of them. The facilities are brilliant and Lizzie, Nathan and the girls are so welcoming and kind. The group animal feeding sessions and the barn full of ride on toys were a particular hit with our kids. The cottage was spacious, comfortable and well equipped and there's plenty to do in the local area. It felt like a very easy, stress-free holiday. We don't usually go back to the same place twice but we've already booked for next year!
This cottage is comfortable with everything provided for your stay. 2 good size bedrooms and spacious open plan ground floor. It was ideal to have a secure garden, secluded and private, all contributing to a peaceful and relaxing break. Lizzie was a great host, nothing was too much, she had great ideas on places to visit and also lent us a dog crate. The indoor swimming pool was a taste of luxury, so warm even in the cold weather!
