Lovely cottage which is fully equipped. Quirky location with friendly residents on the island. Accommodation has a fantastic position overlooking the harbour to one side and Jura and small islands to the other. Great place for a short break.
We had fabulous two weeks. It was our second visit and it was still superb. Already booked two more visits.
Lovely, spacious and comfortable apartment in a great location with nearby private parking space. All facilities nearby.
Achalic Beag was perfect as a base for us to explore the West Coast and just up the road from Oban with plenty of shops and restaurants, plus the ferry over to Mull. Lovely, peaceful location with loads of space around and throughout the property - well equipped and spotlessly clean. Would highly recommend as a property and location to explore this wonderful area!

Great base for visiting Western Scotland with a five minute drive to Oban. Very spacious with everything provided for an enjoyable stay. Just a suggestion…. The hearth by wood burner a trip hazard (we all tripped on it) especially coming in through outside doors.
Achalic Farmhouse is a lovely peaceful location close enough to the amenities of Oban to ensure you can always have all you want available. The space inside and out is big enough to accommodate 10 without feeling crowded. All the equipment you might want for catering is provided and in good condition. We would recommend the house to any family group
Feochan Bheag is an excellent holiday home to take the family; the house layout lends itself to socialising and being together. It is is in a beautiful location, within a very short drive of the amenities of Oban. We loved it so much we are looking to go back next year...
My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Tigh Grianach in North Connel in June 2024, as did my late twenties daughter and her partner, who joined us for a week. It was our first time in the West Highlands and we loved our stay. The location of the cottage is ideal - with views down the loch to Ben Cruachan (home of the underground power station) and with a backdrop of peaks. Our host Rhoda refers in the description to being able to see red deer from the cottage, and it's not just a sales pitch. West Coast Cottages were amazing, very helpful, knowledgeable and did exactly what we asked for. Absolutely brilliant service. The house was immaculate, rooms, bedding, towels everything so clean. Perfect location, pub 2 mins walk away serving great food and only 5 miles into Oban town centre. Will definitely stay here again. Best holiday rental value for money we have had and we stay in a lot of places.
Our week at Al Cana is best described as home from home.We had a really enjoyable stay,the view to the front is truly spectacular and we were treated to some really glorious sunsets. The Falls of Lara are a great example of the power of sea and tide,well worth the short walk to watch. We enjoyed our stay here. Very spacious and immaculate apartment right in the centre of Oban harbour. Beautiful views over the sea from the front of the building and views of McCaig’s tower at the back. We’d definitely stay here again in the future.
