We have been to Rural Roosts many times now and already looking forward to returning. The lodges are spacious, warm and just like home from home. Everything you need is there. The addition of the hot tub is a real treat. My husband enjoys the fishing and caught a good few big ones. We were lucky to see the starlings over the specimen lake a couple of evenings. It was a great display to watch. Lovely welcome in the lodge with tea, coffee and milk there. Not forgetting the amazing Lemon drizzle cake made by Katie. Coming to Rural Roosts with our dog Piper at this time of year is absolutely lovely especially to get away from the dreaded fireworks.For us it is pure relaxation & it is great to see the wildlife including the two deers & the Heron. With the added bonus of having dry sunny weather the quality & amount of fish caught was very pleasing.The lodge as always was fully equipped & cosy. Thank you Katie,Tim & team for another wonderful stay our 34th visit.
Yet another lovely stay at Rural Roosts. Lost count now of how many times we've stayed there now - feels like our second home! Weather was kind to us and we had loads off fishing opportunities albeit the fish were playing hard to get! Looking forward to staying again in the new year.
We had a wonderful stay in Kingfisher Lodge for New Year. The lodges looked lovely with lights and Xmas trees making the atmosphere very festive. We enjoyed plenty of walks and the frosty weather made everything very pretty. There was spectacular murmurations to watch at the reservoir which we all enjoyed. We finally made it into Lincoln and we were not disappointed. Well worth a visit and we will definitely repeat on our next stay. A couple of our party had a go at fishing but the cold weather put the fish off feeding but we were all so relaxed we didn’t miss this. We look forward to our next...more
Lovely stay, peaceful as expected. Good fishing and farm walks. Lodge comfortable and well equipped.
Very peaceful stay comfortable accommodation settees were a little low but plenty of room to relax. Outside table and chairs were very comfortable and well sheltered from the elements too cold to use hot tub could do with more cover for privacy
We had another lovely relaxing stay in Teal Lodge so peaceful with lots of wild life to see and just so peaceful lovely walks for the dogs and a great field where you can let your dogs run and play off the lead everything you could possibly want for a lovely relaxing holiday and we shall return soon
We booked at short notice this time, as we had not long come back from a break away here and decided to look at availability and prices, and it was really cheap, so jumped at the chance to come back. Really quiet and relaxing, our dog Essy very vocal and excited, she dragged us again to the bark park....she couldn't contain her screams, thank god there was not many people staying there at the time as it was loud!...Bless our dog!...such a beautiful place. always feel's like home..Thank you Katie and team for all that you do to make this a very welcoming place...
