This is definitely our ‘Happy Place’ After holidaying here for over12 years (mostly twice a year) we still feel the calm relaxing atmosphere that we always have, stepping into the lodge and seeing the lake makes any stress disappear instantly! It is a home from home with everything you need provided and is beautifully clean and fresh. The attentive owners Katie and Tim are always on hand and make sure we have everything we need. This was our first time coming as a last minute get away, booked Saturday evening for a Monday arrival and all I can say is wow. Fantastic lodge, very clean and peaceful setting and great hot tub. We have already booked to come again in a few weeks time
Five work colleagues who switched off and had a brilliant peaceful weekend relaxing within a beautiful location ... enjoyed a spot of fishing and good company all within a wonderfully secluded setting. Great time had by all

We have visited Rural Roosts quite a few times now over the last 15 years the quality and standard of both the park and lodges are second to none! We now holiday there with both parents and grandchildren making it a holiday for all ages! Katie and her team work tirelessly at making sure every single detail is perfected ! This is the 3rd year me and my brothers have been here twice in badger lodge one in lapwing Lodge and can honestly say it's the best place for a fishing holiday or just a break from everything. Always spotless always great fishing and nothing is too much trouble would highly recommend.

Love Rural Roosts, This is our 4th year holidaying here. The fishing is always good with a choice of 2 venues. The handy Lodge lake a short walk from all lodges and the larger Reservoir lake with larger carp and a handy lockable shed to keep your tackle. Very dog friendly with lots of lovely walks. The lodges are well equiped and the WIFI exceedingly good.
