We were absolutely so well catered for at this beautiful cottage. The whole site was beautiful. The owners were friendly and extremely helpful throughout our stay. The animals were gorgeous and provided great interest. On arrival there was a lovely welcome hamper which contained delicious provisions. Although we were there in the heatwave you could open doors and windows which allowed fresh air and the odd cool breeze. It was peaceful and relaxing, we can't thank you enough
Very spacious cottage with beautiful views over the countryside. Excellent welcome pack and a kitchen with every possible facility. Cleaning pack also great with its washing/ dishwasher tabs. The garden very secure for our dog but plenty of provided space for him to let off steam. Cottage a real home from home and not too far from woodland and coastal days out.
If you are looking for a peaceful location for a holiday with fantastic views and great hosts then Old Lanwarnick cottages is a great place. Location does mean a bit of driving around but we picked this locations for the peace and knew we would be driving. Vicky was there the following morning as our arrival time was hampered due to traffic and was extremely nice, polite and accommodating. The Barn works perfectly for two and is beautifully presented, the jacuzzi bath was a god send for our achy joints after walking. This I learned from the most welcoming owner of Old Lanwarnick. Guests are encouraged to check out the Alpaca tribe who live on the estate, in addition to the more traditional chickens, ducks and goats. This is great for children of all ages, even ones as old as me! The estate is delightful, the natural gardens are interesting and the woodland full of surprises. It’s a great place for children to play safely outdoors, for dogs to exercise in designated areas, and if the weather isn’t great there is an indoor gym and hot tub for the adults. This was our 3rd time at this location and 3rd cottage and again nothing disappoints. Beautiful setting peace and quiet. Welcome basket on arrival. Apart from the 5 star service for us our dogs also had 5 star service, bowls treats towels and 3 fully secure enclosures. The cottage was spotlessly clean and every thing you could possibly need. Crisp white bedding and a very comfortable bed. The added bonus the animals on site Pygmy goats, chickens ducks and Alpacas. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Hob Nob, especially the amazing grounds and all the animals! We really appreciated the enclosed, private garden with hot tub, and felt the cottage was very spacious and clean. Kitchen was really well equipped and all the information provided about the local area was so helpful when planning our days. Would love to return!
