The cottage we stayed in was wonderful, well appointed, clean, comfortable just ideal really. Location-wise it was just right for us, remote enough to be peaceful but not to far away from all the places we wanted to visit. The on-site grounds are amazing and fantastic for dog owners. If dogs could give reviews then our King Charles Spaniel would award Old Lanwarnick Cottages Five Paws!
We had a great stay at Hob Nob, the property is fantastic, really comfortable, clean and well equipped. We especially enjoyed walking in the area and also, there is a huge exercise field behind Hob Nob where we could let the dogs off the lead. The owners are lovely and really helpful, they had really thought of everything to make our stay perfect.
This was our second stay at Old Lanwarnick cottages and we will be back! The property is well equipped, modern, comfortable and cozy. There's lots of enclosed outdoor spaces for the dogs to run around and get lots of exercise. The riverside walk is also very peaceful and pretty (even in the rain). The location is also great for trips to Looe and other dog friendly beaches around Cornwall and Devon. Would definitely recommend for people travelling with dogs.
Good communication before our visit explaining location, directions, and facilities. Welcoming and comfortable, and friendly service from our host. Well equipped and everything we needed was provided for our self catering stay. Especially appreciated the free supply of logs for the log burner. We liked the grounds for safe dog walking and the dogs appreciated the complimentary treats! Peaceful and relaxing location, with a welcoming hot tub. Only a few miles from the stunning coastal path.
This was a return visit and we were not disappointed. Travelling with young children, it was good to see fixed stair gates on this visit, and we noticed little additions like the emergency lighting/torch. The dogs were well catered for and happy and Vicky and her team were on hand for any issues.
This was a return visit following a previous summer stay. The Cottage was warm and cosy and Vicky and her team did all they could to accommodate any specific needs.
