Excellent facilities for both humans and their dog family. The cottage was very comfortable and beautifully appointed. The staff were really helpful and everything you needed was there The dog fields were excellent, our 2 large dogs loved the big exercise field, giving the loads of space to explore and run off excess energy. We really recommend these cottages
I had an amazing time with some friends staying in the farmhouse cottage. The owners were lovely, super helpful and it was in excellent condition with everything we could need!
We were unlucky with the weather but the Log Fire inside Black Berry Barn made our stay very enjoyable. We were fascinated by the pigmy Goats, an animal that I have not seen before.
The cottage we stayed in was beautiful, and had everything you'd need for a short break. Everything was spotlessly clean on our arrival. The owners were very friendly and welcoming. Facilities around the complex were excellent, especially for dogs (our Golden Retriever thoroughly enjoyed her break with multiple enclosed designated dog fields to run around in, and a woodland walk). Only thing to be aware of is the roads leading to the property are narrow for a couple of miles (even by Cornish standards!) - but that's a price worth paying for the rural location!
Vicky the owner was the perfect host and anything we needed or wanted to know she was always there to oblige with a smile on her face the cottages were all very different and the decor and comfort was top notch the area around the cottages was excellent for dogs and the wooded walks were lovely we had a lovely week and will certainly return
Staying here felt like a home away from home. The attention to detail of everything from the kitchen utensils, welcome basket to the robes in the bedrooms. The kids loved finding the huge board games collection in the gym and exploring the woodland walk. Having an on site dog wash was so good and stopped the muddy paws entering the house! The garden been 100% secure was a huge bonus and the enclosed fields were great for letting the dog let off an excess energy. We're already talking about when we might be able to come back.
