It is great to arrive to a clean well organised cottage with our little dog, and enjoy the peace and quiet of the countryside again. We enjoy our evenings there and going to the seaside old fishing villages nearby, all reached in a short travel time. There are also some wonderful coastal walks and, if going a bit further you can get to Lostwithiel and Restormel Castle and further, to the Eden Project or the Jamaica Inn or even Port Isaac (Doc Martin's "Port Wenn") in north Cornwall. But there is much more to discover nearer and further.

We loved our stay at Old Lanwarnick cottages. It’s a great location for exploring the area and towns like Fowey and Looe. The dog friendliness is amazing from the enclosed dog fields and showers to the greeting our pooches got from Vicky the owner. We were left alone all week but knew how to get in touch should we need. Cottages really comfortable and the other guests we spoke with all loved theirs too!

This was our fourth visit to the cottages at Old Lanwarnick and yet again we were not disappointed. We booked the The old Farmhouse and The Blackberry as we were celebrating a special Wedding Anniversary with family & friends. As always our stay was so wonderful! everything from the stunning location and views, the cottages, facilities. Both properties as always were in tip top condition and there literally was nothing we needed to request as everything and more were provided. My friends that attended were very taken as it was their first visit and by the end of the stay, they asked me f...more

The cottage was in pristine condition with new floors and new solid internal oak doors. Everything supplied even a chocolate cake to enjoy after my long journey to Cornwall. My dogs did not a similar service! - but they enjoyed the exciting walks with steep hills to tire them out. Hope to come again. Richard

Comfortable accommodation, made welcome with our dog. Landscape amazing. Pretty villages and towns to visit, secluded coves and some spectacular beaches.

Matthew and Vicky's place is a wonderful island of piece away from the hustle and bustle of the city. This year is our second time at Old Lanwarnick and can't wait to come back already next year. The cottages are amazing, cosy, clean and very very welcoming. We stayed in the Rainbow Cottage last year and in Hob Nob this year and they were both great for us. And if you can't do without the modern tech comforts, they have a super fast WiFi always at hand for you. The property is both secluded but also never too far away from towns, villages, pubs, restaurants and the always-wonderful Cornish co...more
