Highly recommend The Sandpiper. As a family of 4, we thoroughly enjoyed our restful stay. Beautiful shepherd’s hut, with lots of thoughtful details and very relaxing! Powerful shower, cosy accommodation and enclosed garden so children / dogs can explore safely. Beautiful views overlooking the fields and sea. Good location to explore the Northumberland coast. We’ll be back!
We wanted something different and the Sanderling provided it in abundance ! A unique way to spend our special anniversary and located in stunning surrounds with fantastic views. The view lying in the raised bed looking out over fields of hay bales to the coast and Low Newton was superb. Everything you need and the luxury of the hot tub after a days walking is amazing. The village with its cracking pubs and great food was perfectly placed and a stroll back after to round off the evening was a fantastic way to end each day. We have had a great week at Benthall House. So much thought has gone in to what the owners provide down to beach towels and barbecue coals etc. Very comfortable and lots of space for a big family. Safe enclosed garden for our little dogs. Could not find fault. Location is amazing for the beach and views from house are great. Would highly recommend and look forward to staying again another time.
Wonderful, well equipped accomodation. Very comfy & sportless. Beautiful outlook from the garden at the back - Hares galore! Good location for amenities, all within a short drive.
Great layout for extended family holiday, bed and pillows were spot on, one of the few places I have stayed where the bed and pillows suited me perfectly. Games room was fantastic and got a lot of use by all the family, having the separate conservatory, TV room and reading room as well as the games room meant if anyone wanted alone space they didn’t need to go to their bedroom which was great for those doing the odd bit of work while there.
