We had a really enjoyable stay at the Sandpiper. I have previously stayed at the Sanderling. Both provide amazing glamping experiences. The Sanderling has a extra room to accomodate kids which we did nt use and used as a dressing room. The huts are super clean and comfortable. As always Sam and the team are really helpful with any queries. The log fire warms up the hut really well and the hot tun experience is brilliant - in winter time, if you get a clear night its great to hot tub at night and look up at the stars!! Our third family visit across the years and each one has been excellent. Lovely location and very well laid out house. The Welcome Pack is much appreciated and you just feel comfortable and 'at home' there.
The Bothy is a delightful little cottage and is ideally situated to explore the area. Deceptively spacious, it is quiet, cosy and comfortable and we could not fault the amenities provided. The private back garden looks out onto open countryside and we enjoyed just sitting and looking at the sheep and wildlife. All booking information and instructions are easily accessible and completely stress free. A wonderful welcome awaited us and our dog and, although we never needed to contact the owners, we knew they would be there if we needed them. The kitchen / all utensils / glasses etc were very very dirty. I had to clean everything before it was used. We arrived to the dishwasher full of dirty dishes. The dishwasher filter was blocked with food. Not an acceptable reply from owner when feedback given.
