We stayed for 6 nights at Shepherds Lodge. I you want a peaceful base this is ideal. Our party was five adults, a 9 month old baby and a 4 yer old Italian Greyhound. We all enjoyed our time at t helodge. Sam was extremely helpful before and during our stay. She responded promptly and with kindness to any questions. Shepherds Lodge is ideally placed to enjoy the surrounding areas. There are some great beaches to enjoy. We recommend Walking from Low Newton to Embleton and on to Dunstanburgh. Stayed here numerous times and always fantastic. Short 15 mins stroll to beadnell centre and beach . Perfect for a relaxing break . Great facilities incl hot tub . Comfy bed with star gazing roof ! Love it and booked to go back already!
We booked both shepherds huts as there was 4 of us plus a dog. Both huts had everything that we needed and the hosts had thought of everything. The beds were so comfortable the hot tub was amazing and easy to use. Fantastic location could not recommend enough

Unfortunately the flies ruined it for us and we came home a day early. The house and fittings were covered and so were we
A good time had by the family of 9.Everything you need is provided. 15 min walk into the village/Craster Arms etc. One obsevation not a complaint: The garden could do wil some TLC.
