One that is so authentic, with so much history and run by staff that is absolutely second to none. We can’t say enough good things about this place, the comfort, the location. We have stayed at Barns Tower every March for the last few years, it’s a magical place! The tower is well equipped for your needs, in a beautiful setting, and just the place to kick back and chill out
Had a weekend stay here for a family birthday .Beautiful house in close proximity with the Castle with stunning views across to the river Tweed. Apart from a corkscrew , there was everything that we required in the well equipped kitchen. The beds were super comfy in the lovely bedrooms and the shower rooms were modern with plenty of hot water . Very peaceful location and if fit and able then a short walk into Peebles or a few minutes drive to the pretty town is on your doorstep. Excellent tour of the Castle is available with a very knowledgeable and entertaining guide.
The Library was an amazing place to stay over Christmas and take the overflow of guests. They loved it. So clean and homely. Christmas tree a cool touch, along with mince pies. Wi-Fi was brilliant Surroundings, walks and views second to none Lovely and thankyou Claire
