This is was our second stay on the Neidpath Estate but our first in this property. It was every bit as perfect as the first. Comfortable, cosy, well equipped cottage with plenty of space and lots of quirky and classy features. If you want to be close to amenities this is not for you but for us it was a perfect, secluded location with fabulous views. We will definitely be back.
What a wonderful and authentic building, The history steeps from the 10 feet thick walls! Great care has been taken to retain as much of the original features as possible and the decor is true to the age, Wonderful tapestries hang from the walls and spiral stone staircases lead you through the floors. The rooms are clean and well maintained. If your looking from something a bit different, then this is the place for you,
This is a returning visit to Barns Bothy for us as we stayed in the Library last year for my son's wedding and thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We returned to the Bothy in October for a lovely few days. Cosy accommodation for two with everything you need for a home from home comfortable stay!! We will definitely be back again soon.

A return trip to Barns Tower for us, again for a valentine’s holiday. And the Tower did not disappoint with its external walls freshly painted, the Tower was again standing proud in the tweed side setting. The ambience in this historic peel tower is just lovely, while fitted with all the modern amenities that you need the open fires, decoration, spiral staircase, vaulted ground floor, cosy sitting room and lovely en suite bedroom give you a real feel of the past. A gorgeous cottage that we started coming to when my daughter was a toddler. She’s now 19, and we still love it. In a fantastic location that can’t be beaten, and within walking distance of Peebles it’s perfect. The cottage is beautiful, well equipped and comfortable. We will be back next year - just wish we could stay longer than 5 nights!
