This was a fabulous place to stay. Stunning views and peace and quiet. A little chilly when we first arrived but we asked for the heating to be adjusted as we’re southern softies and we soon warmed up. Would definitely recommend
Barns Study is the best self-catering cottage we have stayed in. It had everything we needed for our stay. The generous welcome pack was much appreciated. The staff were excellent. Nice walks around the area and enjoyed my runs on the quiet roads. We will definitely return.
We stayed here for our Wedding and I felt like Royalty! I don’t think I’ll ever get to experience something like this in my life and I’m so glad we did. The history behind this room and the regality that surrounds you when you stay here is a feeling like no other. Everything was exceptional, the room, the staff and the castle itself. Definitely worth staying.
We were very happy to stay at the Barns Bothy in such beautiful surroundings with everything we needed for our visit. We found it to be clean and well equipped with every thing provided for a relaxing time in a charming place. We would certainly like to return for another break when we can.
Truly magical stay at Barns Tower. Couldn't believe we had the priviledge of staying somewhere SO OLD (1488 above the door) Everything was provided, it was warm & cosy, copious firewood & hot water. Beds super comfy, bedding luxurious. Found the secret swimming spot in the River Tweed. We didn't have transport but worked out how to walk in & out of Peebles through countryside. It's spoiled me for staying anywhere else. We will definitely be back!
Our bridesmaids and groomsmen’s stayed here and they had no complaints. Everyone loved this little cottage but I think I loved it more since I could live there forever. It was like my dream house.
Our fourth stay, and it is as lovely as ever. We will be back! Blissfully quiet and very comfortable.
