Had a lovely weekend away with my family. The deluxe bungalow was lovely and had everything you needed. We ate in Hermanus and the food was delicious as always. Would definitely go back.

I stayed at one of the roundhouse near the swimming pool & had an amazing time. It was the first time holidaying on my own & was made to feel very welcome both by staff & other friendly holiday makers. I felt very comfortable eating out on my own at The Highwayman Restaurant (they do a wonderful carvery here on a Sunday, with the restaurant overlooking the sandunes). A relaxing time walking, swimming & reading whilst staying in a delightful & unique round house. I've been coming here since 1978 & hope to come next year. We stayed as a family of 5 and there was amble space! Rooms were all very clean and had been nicely updated. The garden was also lovely just didn’t use it at this time of year. Great location right next to the beach! We also had dinner at the restaurant which was great, a big selection and reasonably priced.
We had another lovely break enjoying the peace of the area and the cosiness of the accommodation. The dog loves it here as much as we do. Even out of season the stay was great.
Clean, warm & comfortable, the roundhouses are in an excellent location overlooking the dunes. Great cafes & a pub in the village as well as a fabulous fish & chip shop.
Our stay was excellent,round house very cosy and great value for money.Only downside to Number 17 was the step down to the door which was fine for us but if you have mobility issues it would have been awkward.
Can't really say much only BRILLIANT as usual!!!!! Thats why we keep coming back clean comfortable amazing views quiet relaxing and cheap for what you get and the carvery on Sunday is 10 out of 10
Staff friendly, helpful, excellent as usual huge added bonus this stay was the seal pups. Wonderful as usual to explore the heath and the dunes, hats off to all the seal wardens who look after the pups and the visitors. Hermanus made the restaurant and the bar beautifully Christmasy, staying here always feels like coming home. Many thanks to ALL staff those on the front line and those in the background that make the stay comfortable and a pleasant experience.
Wow what a cute pretty well equipped round house Just the two of us for a quite break which was perfect Reception helpful on site Location perfect sea views from bedroom window and lounge and was so peaceful Walks along the coast with a cafe stop and if lucky might see some seals Lots of places to visits with some great pubs and restaurants. Shop and pub in village that was walking distance Highly recommend and can not wait to visit again with trying a summer visit Price reasonable is same all year round
A great place to stay right next to the beach & 15min drive from the amazing seal colony. Bungalows are comfortable & well appointed.
This is our 11th year staying at hermanus. The size of the accomodation is perfect for us and winterton is a beautiful village. We do miss the games room though!! The decor is tired but it is great to be able to bring the dog.
A very comfortable stay with our 2 dogs .Excellent location . The property would benefit from coat hooks

Again another very nice stay at hermanus holiday park, would highly recommend this venue to anyone looking to stay in this area
The fridge was a little unclean. I think a tea towel should be provided. The sofa also smelt quite sweaty! We have stayed in a double roundhouse in the past and this seemed to be a better standard. We were also tucked away from everything.
Had a lovely time once again at Hermanus staying in Mirth. Chalet was clean and comfortable, great location. Will be visiting again soon
A very well equipped and comfortable roundhouse. Everything you need was provided except your own towels and a nice little welcome pack was left out for us. The view was totally fabulous and we had a great break!
I have been holidaying here now, usually twice a year for the last 10 years and can't fault it. Great location, friendly staff and accommodation that suits our family of 4 and 2 dogs with everything we need. Better still, we arrived this time to find our chalet had been completely re-vamped to a high standard. As usual on our visit we enjoyed the great Sunday Carvery, (a must whilst your here!) and several other evenings in the restaurant, all at very competitive pricing. Already booked again!
My 7th Hermanus visit this year so far one more planned for November I think the frequency of my visits say it all well done Hermanus team
We loved everything about hermanus. Accommodation was fabulous. Staff friendly. Even weather was lovely!
Stayed in one of the newly renovated chalets, nice and spacious, well equipped and nice and clean. Staff were very friendly and we were able to take our doggie in the lounge, which when we visited a few years ago you couldn't take dogs in. This is a big improvement. Had a nice meal in the restaurant there as well ☺️ All in all a lovely stay, just wish we'd stayed longer. Looking forward to returning again soon. Many thanks
Another good holiday here. Good clean accommodation and good food. Could do with some hooks for coats
This is my 2nd stay at Hermanus in the twin roundhouse. I stayed with a friend and her dog and it was the perfect location for human and hound, our only criticism is that the double roundhouse does not have a sea view. The kitchen is well equipped with all you need for basic meals. Beds are very comfortable and the hut was lovely and warm with heating in each room which could be individually set for each guest’s personal preference. Always enjoy our stays at Hermanus. Accommodation is great and has everything you need in it. A short walk along the beach to see the seals in Horsey and a great cafe in the way. It never disappoints. If you are looking for relaxation in a wonderful beach setting Hermanus is your choice!
Only one issue . Security light on property opposite goes on and off all night, as there was no blind or curtains on the door this disturbed us and our sleep.
As always, good value, fair price and chalet well looked after. The chalet has been updated and is lovely. Again, as always, the Hermanus Team are top people, right from booking, through the stay, and when leaving. They do their best to help and make the stay enjoyable. Thank you. See you next year.

I have stayed with Hermanus numerous times over the last 12 years in most of the roundhouses. Cosy, quaint and so near the sea. The seal pups are arriving daily - over 1080 so far which are magical to watch The village of Winterton-on-sea is my favorite place and the local pub great too ! The staff are helpful- my friend had a broken ankle so they had to relocate us so she didn't have to negotiate a curb on her frame
We had a fabulous stay at Dawn on the Hermanus site. The location is perfect. Dawn was very comfortable.
Arrived during the heatwave. Upstairs was very hot as blinds and curtains had been left open and we arrived late afternoon. There were no fans. Both toilets were downstairs and all 3 bedrooms upstairs, an issue for me in particular. No hairdryer or bedside lamps. Otherwise agreeably impressed with very high standard of cleanliness and furnishings. Pool heated?? I don’t think so
Amazing all round - highly recommend. Loved walking down to the dunes with the dog every morning. The village is beautiful too.
